It has been a harrowing ordeal for the family of Austin Metcalf as they have had to navigate losing him in such a tragic way and then be reminded about it anytime they hit social media.

Karmelo Anthony allegedly stabbed him in the chest as the two attended a Texas track meet last Wednesday. Frisco Police Department officers arrested Anthony at the scene after he left Metcalf to di3 in his twin brother’s arm.

Metcalf is dead over an incident that is said to have been started over him telling Karmelo he needed to move out of a seated area. The suspect in the deadly stabbing has been charged with first-degree murder and is currently sitting in jail on a $1 million bond.

In the meantime, the family of Austin Metcalf has finally had enough of something they have been doing since their loved one passed away.

The mother and brother of the late Frisco athlete are requesting privacy as they focus on laying him to rest, according to a statement released Wednesday.

The family announced that they will not be conducting any more interviews as they try to navigate this difficult time.

 

“Thank you for your cooperation and understanding, as we will not field any more interviews with media moving forward,” his parents, Meghan and Hunter Metcalf, said in the statement.

The family is set to have a memorial service at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hope Fellowship Frisco East in Frisco.

“Tragedi3s inevitably raise questions that remain unanswered,” the parents said. “We will entrust the detectives handling the investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding Austin’s passing, while our family, Hunter, and I prioritize commemorating and honoring Austin.

“We extend our gratitude to everyone who has supported us in numerous ways and helped sustain our family during this time.”

17-year-old Karmelo Anthony, who allegedly stabbed Austin Metcalf to death after an argument over seats at a sports event, told the cops that he was not alleged in the crime; he was the one who did it.

The arrest report said that the stabbing took place when Anthony, who was sitting under another team’s tent, was asked by Metcalf to move.

Anthony said his action was in self-defense.

His father has made it clear that his son was not the aggressor.

“He was not the aggressor. He was not the one who started it,” Anthony said.

For those unaware, she is a female criminal in the game. Grand Theft Auto states that she did her time at a prison complex in the State of Leonida in the mid-2020s for an unknown crime.

As anticipation builds for the release of Grand Theft Auto 6, a picture shows Lucia stripped down to a two-piece bikini.

Fans Have Waited A Long Time For Grand Theft Auto To Release New Game

After more than a decade of waiting, Grand Theft Auto VI is supposedly finally set to come out in 2025.

Despite their hopes for a release this year fading, the community remains engaged in hopes that a second trailer will be released in early 2025 and a release date of the actual game will come out.

With each passing day, the desire for more news grows stronger.
