Aaron Rodgers may have played his last game as a member of the New York Jets, but there is a feeling he may have played his last game outright following Sunday’s win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
The last two seasons did not go according to plan for the quarterback, who spent all of 2023 sidelined with injury before returning for 2024 and hardly making a difference.
NY is understood to be done with Rodgers, with reports from earlier in the season revealing the team owner nearly benched him.
Suggestions that he could retire this year have popped up, and a sideline clip from Sunday had folks speculating over whether he said Sunday’s game was his last.
“Did Aaron Rodgers say “It’s my last game,” the caption to the video below reads.
Aaron Rodgers Doesn’t Plan To Leave Anyone Waiting
The comments were split over “It’s my last game,” and “It’s about time” but fans shouldn’t have to wait much longer to find out what Rodgers plans to do.
The QB spoke to Pam Oliver after the 32-20 win over Miami and declared he wouldn’t be holding anyone up.
“I’m gonna have conversations tomorrow with everybody here the Jets and see what they’re thinking, and then we’ll make a decision before it gets too late in the offseason,” he said.

The Golden State Warriors suffered a 30-point blowout loss to the Sacramento Kings on Sunday. Despite being without De’Aaron Fox, the Kings, led by strong performances from Domantas Sabonis and Malik Monk, defeated the Warriors 129-99 at Chase Center. Although Stephen Curry had an impressive outing, it wasn’t enough to prevent the Warriors from experiencing their third loss in the last six games.
With the latest loss, the Warriors season standing is now 18-17, and they currently hold the ninth spot in the West. The Kings’ strong team effort helped them secure their 17th win of the season, improving their record to 17-19 and placing them 11th in the Western Conference standings.

For the Warriors, Stephen Curry took the court despite being questionable for Sunday’s game. Curry put on a scoring clinic with 26 points and 7 rebounds in 30 minutes. The Warriors star, however, reached a career milestone by setting the record for the most games with 50/40/90% shooting in NBA history.
