HEARTBREAKING NEWS: Aree Osbourne BREAKS SILENCE as Jack Osbourne’s TEARS reveal SHOW is HELPING him through GRIEF for dad Ozzy

JACK Osbourne’s wife Aree Gearheart has told how his time in the I’m a Celebrity jungle is helping him following the death of his father Ozzy.

Ozzy sadly passed away aged 76 on July 22, with the cause of death later revealed to be a cardiac arrest.

The Sun previously revealed I’m a Celebrity bosses were ‘monitoring’ grieving Jack, 40, who has ended up in tears while talking about his dad to his campmates.

Last night Aree, 34, spoke to Joel Dommett on spin-off Unpacked and said: “It’s kind of a funny time to be doing something like this, but it’s helpful…

“I think he’s going to want to come out of it with the connections and the fact that he did it – he’s very competitive, and he loves the outdoors, and I think he just wants to see this through.”

Aree also spoke about Jack’s connections with Lisa Riley and Ruby Wax, confessing she’s “really happy” he’s close to the stars.

She said: “I found his connections with Lisa and Ruby to be really heartwarming.

“I think that they’re such kind, warm souls that are so funny, and I feel like in this season that Jack is in, he needs people like that by his side.

‘And I was really happy to find those connections.”

Jack previously ended up in tears while discussing Ozzy’s death with Emmerdale star Lisa.

 

He said: “It was definitely a shock, I mean we knew he was sick for a while but it was definitely a shock, I mean we didn’t know it would be that quick…”

He added: “It was the ultimate mic drop, he did a massive big gig and was like, alright I’m done.”

Jack then got teary, as Lisa comforted him – reflecting on his legend status and the impact he had.

Another conversation with comedian Eddie Kadi saw Jack struggle to answer when he was asked what he missed most about Ozzy.

He finally expressed: “Just his energy. He had this force, so hard to describe. But he had this energy.”
