Rumors continue to swirl that the couple will get engaged in the near future
Kelce has warned the singer, who he went public with 18 months ago, not to expect a wedding at the peak of the football season.
He also believes it could be too close to their September anniversary.
Rumors continue to swirl that Kelce, a three-time Super Bowl winner, and Swift, 35, will get engaged in the near future.
So for the NFL player to even be discussing the idea of which month they could get married in is a notable change in pace.
A listener called in and asked for their thoughts on ceremonies during a season that’s typically reserved for watching football.
Kelce told his brother Jason: “You gotta be willing to find a weekend where the team isn’t playing anybody good maybe.
“Also, if you really do have a problem with that, maybe it’s in her best interest to not have it in the fall, so that she knows you’re invested in the anniversary every time it comes around.
“I’ve seen weddings in f***ing February.
“I’ve seen weddings everywhere but the fall. So I’m not sure if the fall is a good wedding season.
“I actually don’t know people who’ve gotten married in the fall because all the weddings I’ve been to, and all my friends always do it in the summer.”
Patrick Mahomes’ timely gift to Travis Kelce that will help Kansas City Chiefs star in NFL retirement career venture
Speculation over an engagement continued over the holiday period when the songstress made her return to Kansas City.
Eagle-eyed fans claimed a ring had been edited out of a photo from an Eras Tour-themed party thrown by Kelce in Swift’s honor in December.
Swift and Kelce did not spend Christmas together, as Kelce was in Pittsburgh for Kansas City’s game against the Steelers.
The 14-time Grammy winner was nowhere to be seen as Kelce and Kansas City secured the top playoff seed in Pittsburgh.
But it must be said that Swift rarely attends road games due to security preparations.
However, they are believed to have rung in the New Year side-by-side in Kansas City, reportedly sharing a romantic kiss at midnight.
