DANNY Dyer shocked BRITs viewers as he dropped the c-word on live TV and took a swipe at the prime minister in a speech too rude to air.

EastEnders legend Danny, 47, was chatting with host Jack Whitehall, 36, when he made the X-rated blunder, forcing producers to silent the audio.

The actor was discussing his new film Marching Powder when he struggled to find the right words to describe it without getting himself into trouble.

And, while Danny’s comments didn’t make the airwaves in their entirety, The Sun captured it all from the crowd.

“It’s basically Bridget Jones, but with the word c**t,” he quipped, leaving Jack scrambling to remind him, “Danny, like when I said say anything, not bad words, obviously.”

Never one to hold back, Danny also made a cheeky remark about a woman in the audience, joking that she looked “more of a ketamine lady” – before being steered back on track.

When asked who should win the “B*****d Award”, Danny didn’t hold back either, naming Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.

He said: “So many. This is why the world is being run by cranks at the moment. So, probably Sir Keir Starmer.”

Producers muted some of his comments, swiftly cutting to an ad break before things got even worse.

During tonight’s ceremony, Jack came under fire for making a joke about Diddy following Jade’s performance.

The comedian targeted everyone from Simon Cowell to ITV as he returned to host the ceremony after four years.

But he sparked the most outrage after Jade had finished performing.

He remarked how surprised he was to see her performing in white – after Diddy’s white parties hit headlines.

racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in
prostitution after his arrest last September following a string of allegations.

Following the joke, one person raged: “Mentioning Diddy after the whole, very blatant, message of JADEs performance ??? Get this man off my screen.”

A second commented: “Diddy joke? Stop booking Jack Whitehall for things PLEASE it’s not 2013 anymore.”

While a third added: “Jack Whitehall making a Diddy joke was so tasteless and tone deaf.”

Opening digs

Jack started by making a reference to controversies ITV has faced in recent years due to allegations surrounding presenters who have worked for the channel.

Opening the show after a performance from US pop star Sabrina Carpenter, Whitehall said: “I’m back. Thank you.

“ITV had so many of its presenters cancelled this year, they had to come crawling back to an ex.

“And what an honour it is to be hosting again, the biggest night in British music.”

In 2023, This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield resigned from ITV and admitted to an “unwise but not illegal” affair with a younger male colleague.

In February re-runs of old Gino D’Acampo shows were pulled from the ITV schedule following allegations made against the chef of inappropriate behaviour, which he denies.

Jack continued and one of his first jokes was about Stormzy as he poked fun at claims the rapper has sold out after teaming up with a fast food brand.

He said: “Ladies and gentlemen, do we have any Vossi Bopper’s in the house?

“In the 90s, you’d find your rappers doing drive-bys; this one you can find at the drive-thru – nominated for two Brit Awards this evening – we didn’t send him a limo tonight, we ‘deliverooed’ him here, it’s Stormzy.

“The grime scene’s Ronald McDonald. He’s loving it.”

KSI swipes

The comedian moved on, saying: “The guy who will have a go at literally anything. YouTuber, boxer, energy drink, rapper. Yes he’s drink is Prime, his music is slightly past it’s prime, KSI.

“He’s a Britain’s Got Talent judge now as well. I love that, KSI judging talent. That is like Stephen Hawking judging Strictly.”

The audience could be seen gasping as Bruno Tonioli laughed beside KSI.

Next he turned to Jade, telling everyone: “She’s ditched the surname, her bandmates and her old record label, in doing so wiping the smile of Simon Cowell’s latest face. Jade will be here.”

He also threw shade at pop band Coldplay, who are nominated for group of the year and song of the year, calling the band “public school Nickelback”.
