After Taylor Swift was caught in the crossfire of her pal Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s It Ends With Us lawsuit saga – the pop star has allegedly taken a step back from her friendship with the actress.

It appears there could, in fact, be bad blood between Taylor Swift and Blake Lively as her legal dramas with Justin Baldoni rage on.

The Cruel Summer hitmaker was thrown into the center of all the chaos between the two It Ends With Us co-stars, and now rumors are continuing to swirl, suggesting that the two besties’ friendship is on the rocks.

Taylor was dragged into the heated saga last month when Justin countersued Blake and her husband Ryan Reynolds, 48, for $400 million. In his filing, he alleged the actress, who accused Baldoni of sexual harassment in a lawsuit, used Taylor to intimidate him at a meeting with Ryan about edits she had made to a rooftop scene.

The Jane The Virgin star claimed the Shake It Off singer made him feel like he “needed to comply with Blake’s direction for the script”.

It was also alleged that Blake appeared to threaten her former co-star by comparing herself to Game of Thrones character Khaleesi in a series of text messages, included as exhibits to court papers, in which she referred to Ryan and her best friend as her “dragons”.

According to insiders, the A-list pals are still struggling to move past the drama, with the Bad Blood singer, 35, allegedly “no longer communicating” with Blake, 37.

It was previously reported that Taylor had taken a “step back” from the Gossip Girl actress, but their close bond has deteriorated, with the Fortnight singer reportedly turning down an invitation to the SNL 50th anniversary special due to Blake being on the guest list.

Speaking to Daily Mail, a source claimed: “Taylor is not communicating with Blake. She was invited to SNL50, but with Blake there – and Kim Kardashian – it was the last place on earth she would be seen.”

The worldwide frenzy around the It Ends With Us legal rollercoaster has left Taylor questioning her close friendships and how she can prevent “external factors” from damaging her own reputation.

“Taylor is taking stock of which of her friends are good for her and who name drops her for personal gain after Blake-gate,” a second insider told the publication.

They went on to point out how Taylor is working on a new album and was left “shocked by how much drama she was pulled into” and is keen to prevent any of the drama “hurt her career”.

The Mirror US has reached out to Taylor and Blake’s reps for comment.

The duo have not been pictured together for four months. The last time they were publically seen in each other’s company was in October 2024, when they enjoyed a double date with their respective partners Ryan Reynolds and Travis Kelce in Manhattan.

Rumors of the pair’s alleged feud were fuelled again earlier this month when the actress didn’t attend the Super Bowl LIX, with Taylor as she has done in previous years. Instead, the Love Story songstress was flanked by her collaborator Ice Spice, social media influencer Ashley Avignone and Haim sisters Alana, Este and Danielle.
