Tom Brady is acquiring another company, which he reportedly plans to name after himself.

Since retiring from football, the seven-time Super Bowl champion has become quite the businessman, having bought into the Las Vegas Raiders and taken on several other ventures.

According to sports card and memorabilia retailer CardVault, Brady is buying a 50 percent stake. The deal will see the company change its name to “CardVault by Tom Brady.”

Card collecting is now a big deal again, having experienced a massive boost since the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, with some record-breaking sales going down since then.

The Boston-based retailer was founded that year and has since opened up locations at TD Garden, Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, and Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut.

They plan to open a new store at American Dream Mall next to MetLife Stadium in New Jersey this spring and are looking to pin down new locations in other sports venues.

Travis Kelce and the defending champions were no match for the Eagles, who denied Kansas City of a three-peat with a dominant 40-22 win in Super Bowl 59. Kelce was held to just four catches for 39 yards in the loss.

A highlight reel has gone viral of a frustrated Kelce getting into it with Eagles stars C.J. Gardner-Johnson, Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis. Kelce appears to be trying to start a physical confrontation of some sort, but nobody bites:

“Travis: how dare you tackle me. ref!,” joked a user.

“Kelce probably can’t even fight,” quipped one fan.

“Kelce and Mahomes getting punked physically was epic,” wrote another.

“That was his only contribution to the team…instigate and get the opposing team penalized. Good thing Eagles watched tape,” said a fan.

Kelce had a down year in 2024 that saw him catch 97 passes for 823 yards and three touchdowns. The latter two stats marked Kelce’s lowest totals since he became a regular starter in 2014.

Travis Kelce May Have Played His Final NFL Game

Before the Super Bowl, it was reported that Kelce had yet to make a decision on his playing future. The 35-year-old star signed a two-year contract extension last April worth $34.25 million.

Nobody could blame Kelce if he decided to walk away after a Hall of Fame career headlined by three championship rings. Then again, it’s hard to envision a fiery competitor like him walking away after a crushing loss on the grand stage.

During the most recent NFL Draft in Detroit, social media was buzzing as athletes showed up to the red carpet event with their girlfriends and family. Many of the incoming NFL rookies were African-American and were spotted with white women, which has become the usual theme for years.

The same thing happens with the NBA Draft.

This year, the discourse on the NFL Draft and NBA Draft has gotten even louder as African-American women openly pondered why so many of the players never have a partner that is the same race as them.

 

 

One guy on TikTok decided to answer that question by revealing that the vast majority of his division-1 friends in college or headed to the league are dating or married to white women and explained why.

He stated that some of them had told him that their white girlfriend looked up to Taylor Swift while their girlfriend looked up to Megan The Stallion. He then states the guy asks how many white women he has seen doing the Megan Thee Stallion challenge as opposed to Black women.

He then dove into another story of a friend who relayed that his Black girlfriend started to request money from him as soon as she found out about his NIL money. She wanted her hair and nails done. He then added that the Black women would be upset if they went to places like Chipotle, and she demanded steak houses.
