BREAKING: Molly Qerim Exposed By Stephen A. Smith For Using A Vibrator On Live Tv In An Awkward Moment That Left Espn Fans Sh0cked

Now, even Kim Kardashian is rumored to have DM’d Molly with a “you good sis?” while Elon Musk chimed in, calling the clip “next-level TV chaos.” TikTok is flooded with reactions, and Piers Morgan demanded ESPN issue a statement. Is this the wildest moment in sports media history?

Jalen Rose on Molly Qerim divorce, 'laughable' Stephen A. Smith rumors

Stephen A. Smith sure knows how to kick off awkward moments on air.

He had one this week with Molly Qerim when he couldn’t stop saying “vibrating” on air.

Stephen A Smith praises Molly Qerim's outfit choice after comparing First Take host to 'black widow' in bizarre comment | The US Sun

The ESPN veteran made a number of comments about host Molly Qerim’s “vibrating” cell phone during Thursday’s show. Stephen A. has discussed Qerim’s phone going off randomly while on air in previous episodes of First Take, but this day, he had to speak up on it.

Qerim hit back that the phone was “not ringing” but was set to silent and on vibrate.

Stephen A. said: “I tried to say ringing but do you want me to say vibrating on air?

“You always like me mentioning vibrating on air when your phone [goes off]. You really want me to do that?”

Orlovsky did not want his face shown as he picked up a Philadelphia Phillies flag that was lying on the First Take table and draped it over his head.

Molly tried to stutter out a reply but Stephen A. just wouldn’t stop: “Just go with the ring, Molly! Just go with the ring.”

Qerim said, “I distance myself from these comments.”

Smith fired back, “I’m trying to avoid the vibrating!”

Orlovsky finally chimed in to say, “I’m trying to avoid getting fired.”

Like many mentioned in the comment section, the HR department just may have to get involved so conversations like this will not happen again on air.

Former NFL star quarterback Brett Favre has taken a swipe at pop sensation Taylor Swift for political reasons ahead of the upcoming 2024 presidential elections.

The 11-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro is known to be a supporter of former President Donald Trump and has previously endorsed him.

He’s since taken a shot at Swift, who recently endorsed Democratic candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris following Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes informing everyone that he wouldn’t endorse a candidate.

“Good take by Mahomes,” he wrote in a tweet.

“I see a lot of celebs trying to influence their audience instead of letting the people think for themselves. If the best choice for them ain’t clear and they’re easily swayed by their fav pop artist, it’s not going to be a good thing.”

The Indiana Fever guard is dealing with a leg problem following her outing against the New York Liberty on Saturday.

The team announced the point guard will be out for a minimum of two weeks due to a left quadriceps strain, which suggests she could be out longer.

“Caitlin Clark has suffered a left quadriceps strain and will be out a minimum of two weeks,” the announcement reads.

The Fever added, Further updates will be provided, as available, following re-evaluation.”

The Fever are 2-2 heading into their next game and are scheduled to play the Washington Mystics on Wednesday night. It should prove a difficult challenge without Clark, who has averaged 19.0 points, 9.3 assists, and 6.0 rebounds a game so far this season.

The injury has ruled Caitlin Clark out of the next rivalry game against Angel Reese. She will miss at least four games, including the Fever’s clash with the Chicago Sky on June 7.

The strain is also the first serious injury Clark has had to deal with since she entered the WNBA as the first overall pick last year.

The Fever won’t be the only ones ruing the development. It should also come as a huge blow to the league as a whole, as a large percentage of their ratings are due to Clark’s arrival.

According to a recent study, she was responsible for 25.5 percent of all the WNBA’s economic activity in 2024, including revenue from ticket sales, merch, and TV rights deals.

Fearne Cotton has broken her silence on split from husband Jesse Wood in her first TV interview since the breakup.

Joining Lorraine Kelly on Monday’s episode of the ITV show, the TV presenter, 43, also gave an health update after having two tumours removed from jaw.

Fearne announced her split from Jesse, the son of Rolling Stones bass guitarist Ronnie Wood, in December after 10 years of marriage.

She has since made swipes at Jesse and moved on with TV director Elliot Hegarty, with the pair having been seen kissing during a recent night out.

Fearne has had a difficult few months after undergoing surgery to remove two benign tumours from her jawline, just days before her split with Jesse emerged.

She told host Lorraine: ‘It’s all very amicable and kids are doing great. I am in a very good place.’place.’

Discussing her recent surgery, she added: ‘I feel very grateful to have completely recovered.

‘I feel really good. I have a lot of people reaching out who have had the same thing.’

Davina McCall, 56, announced in November she’d been diagnosed with a colloid cyst, a rare type of benign brain tumour, and has supported Fearne.

She continued: ‘Everyone needs a Davina. She’s been amazing, weird that we had the same health thing going on at the same time. She’s so calming and we speak every day. She is just the best

It comes after Fearne has seemingly made another thinly-veiled dig at her ex-husband as she gushed that she is the happiest she’s ever been in a positive update.

Speaking to Scott Mills on his BBC Radio 2 breakfast show, Fearne gushed that she is ‘really happy’ and is ‘springing out of bed in the morning ready for life’.

Scott, who has known Fearne for 25 years, said he has never seen her ‘more positive or happier’, prompting Fearne to agree and reply: ‘Yeah I feel great!’

She told how her health scare has changed her outlook and said she has been seeking comfort from Davina.

‘I’m really happy and I think when you’ve had a health thing like that it does just give you this baseline gratitude where you just feel, you know I have talked to Davina a hell of a lot as our operations were within a month of each other which so weird,’ she continued.

‘We’ve had so many brilliant chats about yeah just feeling very grateful for the basics and sort of springing out of bed in the morning ready for life so yeah I’m feeling good I’ve got lots of exciting stuff happening this year so I’m ready for it!’

Reflecting on her health scare, Fearne said she is ‘massively grateful’ because she didn’t think the lump was anything to worry about, before learning it was a tumour.

‘I went for an ultrasound and it ended up being a tumour, which was obviously a big surprise,’ she explained.

‘Now I feel absolutely great I’m really grateful and you know go and get those lumps and bumps checked out if you’ve got them it’s really really important.

‘I really thought this is going to be a non-event and it ended up being you know major surgery, but I’m healthy and feeling great and just massively grateful.’

Fearne had the benign tumour removed just days before her split from her husband Jesse – who she shares her son Rex and daughter Honey with – emerged.

‘It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that Jesse and I are ending our marriage,’ the radio host said in an online post at the time, saying their priority would ‘always be’ their children.

Fearne is also stepmother to Jesse’s children Arthur, 21, and Lola, 18, from his first marriage to Tilly Wood.

Jesse, 48, has since moved on his former actress and model, Gemma Gregory, 39, who now works in the wellness business and hosts the Happy Place podcast.

Meanwhile, Fearne is said to have been secretly dating TV director Elliot Hegarty since January.

Their romance emerged when they were seen passionately kissing on a night out in Soho before they walked hand-in-hand while accompanied by friends.

The single mother, 51, was said to be ‘totally shocked and devastated because she only knew that Elliot and Fearne were friends’ and a friend told the Mail: ‘It was an awful way for her to find out and it has been quite ghastly for her.’

Fearne recently spoke about wanting to have a ‘burst of fun’ and ‘go and get p***ed’ following the end of her marriage.

Speaking to Women’s Health UK, Fearne made a swipe at her ex-husband as she told how she has ‘missed out on having fun’.

She shared: ‘I’ve dedicated the past 12 years to being a mum and building Happy Place [the award-winning podcast and wellness festival Fearne launched in 2018] I still want to do all of that, but I’ve been missing out on just having fun.

‘Now I’m in my forties, I want more fun; to see mates, have lunches at my house and cook for everyone, go on little nights out and dinners and not care so much about getting back late.’

The couple had reportedly faced challenges for several years, with Fearne previously admitting that their marriage had been ‘suffering’ as far back as 2019.

Speaking at the time, Fearne said Jesse’s demanding schedule with his band Reef had put a strain on their relationship which left them desperately ‘clinging onto their marriage’ in an unearthed interview.

Fearne and Jesse tied the knot in July 2014 three years after they started dating. They met while partying in Ibiza the year after his split from his first wife Tilly.

Jemele Hill and Riley Gaines got into it online after Brittney Griner was caught on camera supposedly trash-talking Caitlin Clark after fouling out against the Indiana Fever on Thursday.

Griner was booted from the game after a foul on Natasha Howard and was seen complaining on the bench.

Lip readers claimed she referred to Clark as a “f**king white girl,” prompting a reaction from Gaines, who tweeted “Brittney Griner appeared to call Caitlin Clark “trash” and a “f***ing white girl” after fouling out last night,” wrote Gaines on X. “Just a reminder: this is who we traded for the Russian Merchant of Death.”

Hill came across the tweet and had some words for Gaines, claiming Griner said “f**king wack call” and not “f**king white girl” as she tore into the activist.

“I get that your whole personality is caught up in stuff like this, so you don’t care about spreading misinformation,” wrote Hill. “1) the foul call made on her had nothing to do with Caitlin Clark. It was because she fouled Natasha Howard. 2) She clearly says “trash” and “f*cking WACK CALL” But carry on with your grifting a**.”

Kelsey Plum Revealed How She Really Feels About Angel Reese During Los Angeles Sparks’ Blowout Win Over Chicago Sky (VIDEO)

Los Angeles Sparks star Kelsey Plum couldn’t help but taunt Angel Reese after scoring an easy bucket against her during Sunday’s game, seemingly suggesting that she’s no fan of the Chicago Sky forward.

Kelsey Plum finished with a game-high 28 points, along with two rebounds and eight assists in the Sparks’ 91-78 victory. The loss dropped Angel Reese and the Sky to 0-3, making them one of the last three winless teams (the Dallas Wings and Connecticut Sun are both 0-4).

One of the top highlights of the game occurred early in the first quarter, when Plum dribbled past Reese for an easy layup. After getting the two points, Plum gestured to the crowd that Reese was “too small” to defend her:

Angel Reese is one of the most polarizing players in the WNBA, but it appears Kelsey Plum is no fan of her trash talk and outspoken style. If that’s the case, we’re sure that basket felt extra good.

Though the Sky weren’t a match for the Sparks, Reese had a solid outing with a double-double (13 points, 12 rebounds) along with four assists and two steals.

The 0-3 Sky will try to get their first win of the season when they travel to Phoenix to take on the Mercury on Tuesday. Phoenix has won three of its four games to begin the season, including a 68-62 win against the Washington Mystics on Sunday.

After their meeting with Phoenix, the Sky will head back to Windy City for a home-and-home with the Wings.

The Indiana Fever are standing tall- literally and figuratively. As the national conversation around the anthem continues to simmer in sports, Caitlin Clark and her teammates are taking a path that separates them from much of the WNBA.

Saturday night’s nationally televised matchup against the New York Liberty wasn’t just another regular season game. It was a stage, and once again, the Fever made their stance clear before the opening tip. While the Liberty remained in the locker room during the national anthem, Indiana’s players stood in formation at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, hand over heart, facing the flag. It mirrored what happened a week earlier when the Chicago Sky also chose not to take the floor during the anthem. The Fever stood that day, too.

Fever Hold Their Ground As Other Teams Step Away

This growing trend caught fire after Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, sitting courtside last Saturday, first pointed out that the entire Sky roster stayed in the tunnel. Fast forward one week, and Front Office Sports’ Ryan Glasspiegel confirmed the Liberty made the same move. “Are the Fever the only team in the WNBA that stands on the court for the national anthem?” Glasspiegel posted on X.

On Memorial Day weekend, a time of remembrance across the country, the optics stirred a stronger reaction. Fans voiced frustration on social media about teams skipping the anthem altogether. In contrast, Caitlin Clark, already one of the league’s most visible stars, became a focal point again- this time not just for her jump shot, but for her quiet presence during “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

Photos from the scene show Clark front and center before the game against the Atlanta Dream on May 20, standing respectfully with her team. Ron Hoskins of NBAE captured the moment, which has since circulated widely.

Notably, the WNBA’s official rulebook still states that “players, coaches, and trainers are to stand and line up in a dignified posture along the sidelines or on the foul line during the playing of the National Anthem.” Whether or not the league will enforce that rule remains to be seen. So far, the WNBA has not made a public comment on either the Sky’s or Liberty’s actions. But until then, the Fever are making their position clear.

ESPN Host Elle Duncan Drops BRUTAL Truth About Caitlin Clark And Angel Reese

Mike Vorel: Caitlin Clark-Angel Reese rivalry is complicated but good for WNBA | Professional/National Sports | wenatcheeworld.com

Like many actual WNBA fans, Elle Duncan is sick of the “disingenuous” talking points surrounding Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese.

The Indiana Fever opened their 2025 season with a blowout win over the Chicago Sky. Clark posted a triple-double, but the conversation revolved around her flagrant foul on Reese. While both second-year stars quickly wanted to move on from the play, most observers used the incident to keep manufacturing a feud.

Duncan’s employer, ESPN, has frequently magnified WNBA drama. On The Right Time with Bomani Jones, the SportsCenter anchor lamented the discourse showing no progress early in the new campaign.

“We are not getting anywhere at this point. We’re just not,” Duncan said. “This is a very disingenuous space right now. Nobody is really here to listen to anybody else’s perspective. If LeBron James posts that Caitlin Clark is his favorite player, then he’s getting s**t for not protecting Black women. And if you post that Angel Reese is your favorite player, then you’re trying to stifle Caitlin Clark’s greatness. It’s just unreal.”

Duncan added that Clark’s supposed supporters are doing her a disservice by diverting the conversation from basketball.

“I’m not out here trying to sell you, ‘Let’s pivot away from Caitlin Clark and talk about…’ I am just saying, Caitlin Clark herself would love for you to focus on the basketball part of it because the Fever this year, guys, are real contenders,” Duncan continued. “And I know that as much as she understands she is an otherworldly star, she would love for you to make it more about the basketball and how well Aliyah Boston is doing and how well Kelsey Mitchell is doing, and what a great piece Sophie [Cunningham] is, and how they are actually contending.”

Jones called WNBA fans “really online,” which is “very bad for everybody.” Duncan responded that she’s “tired” of the current environment.

The Fever have lost two of their last three games, narrowly falling 90-88 to the defending champion New York Liberty on Saturday. Meanwhile, the Sky will seek their first win of the season against the Los Angeles Sparks on Sunday night.

Fans can only hope the discourse centers more around the actual action when the Sky and Fever meet again on Saturday, June 7.

Kelsey Plum’s Ruthless Taunt Toward Angel Reese Is Going Viral During Sparks vs. Sky Game

Angel Reese might be putting up numbers, but that didn’t stop Kelsey Plum from putting her on blast.

During Sunday night’s matchup between the Los Angeles Sparks and Chicago Sky, Plum hit Reese with a savage taunt that’s now going viral across social media. With the Sparks pulling away late in the fourth quarter, cameras caught Plum directing some heated words at Reese after a physical sequence under the basket.

The Sparks were up 84-71 at the time, and while Reese logged a solid double-double, it’s safe to say Plum got the last word.

Stay tuned — this rivalry just got personal.

A prominent WNBA star’s ruthless taunt of Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese is going viral on Sunday evening.

The Los Angeles Sparks are hosting the Chicago Sky on Sunday evening. Both the Sparks, 1-3, and the Sky, 0-2, are off to a rough start. Each team entered Sunday night’s game desperate for a win.

But it’s looking like the Sparks are going to emerge with a victory.

Los Angeles is leading Chicago, 84-71, late in the fourth quarter. While Angel Reese is having a decent game – 13 points and 10 rebounds – she was just hit with a ruthless taunt by Sparks star Kelsey Plum.

It hasn’t taken Kelsey Plum long to adjust to her new surroundings following her move to the Los Angeles Sparks.

The former Las Vegas Aces star scored a record 37 points in her debut for her new team, the most ever for a player representing L.A. for the first time. So far this season, she has averaged 26.7 points, 5.7 assists, and 2.7 steals per game.

Plum and the Sparks were leading the Chicago Sky 43-39 at halftime on Sunday. She ended the first half with seven points, two of them resulting from a layup against Angel Reese.

The two-time WNBA champion blew by Reese and attacked the basket, avoiding a block to score off the glass before making the “too small” gesture and running back to defend.

Kelsey Plum with a ruthless taunt.

    Kelsey Plum.

    WNBA.

Plum, who was traded from the Las Vegas Aces to the Los Angeles Sparks this offseason, drove past Reese on the perimeter and finished at the rim.

Following the basket, she proceeded to hit Reese with the dreaded “too small” celebration.

The WNBA shared the official video on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Sunday night.

“Plum Dawg starting early!” the WNBA shared.

It’s been that kind of night for Reese and the Sky – that kind of season, really.

Chicago, barring a late game comeback, will drop to a winless 0-3 on the season with a loss on Sunday night

REPORT: Brittney Griner Could Be In Serious Trouble With The WNBA

Brittney Griner (Photo By Dale Zanine-Imagn Images)
Brittney Griner’s competitive fire burned a little too hot during a nationally televised game on Saturday, and now the WNBA could be ready to respond.

The 34-year-old Atlanta Dream center, who signed with the team this offseason, let her frustration boil over during a halftime interview- on air, in the middle of a game, with cameras rolling.

The Dream were squaring off against the Dallas Wings and ended the night with an 83-75 win. Griner posted a solid stat line, finishing with 15 points and eight rebounds. But it wasn’t her game that made headlines. It was what she said, and how she said it. Mid-interview with CBS Sports, Griner turned her attention to the referees and shouted, “Be f—ing better!” Moments earlier, she’d said, “You know I call all my fouls,” clearly heated about what she saw as a lack of calls in her favor.

    Frustration With Officiating Boils Over

Brittney Griner Could Be Facing WNBA Disciplinary Action Brittney Griner with refs (Photo Via X/@NickHamilton213)

Griner’s outburst didn’t happen in a vacuum. Players and coaches across the league have raised concerns about officiating this season, and the noise is only growing. Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark and head coach Stephanie White both criticized officials following their own game Saturday against the New York Liberty. White didn’t hold back when she said, “The disrespect right now for our team has been pretty unbelievable,” adding, “I don’t know if I have a feeling that the system works.”

Still, Griner’s choice to call out the officiating live on national TV, and with profanity, could land her in hot water. The WNBA has a track record of issuing fines to players and coaches who publicly criticize officials, and this situation checks multiple boxes. While the league hasn’t announced any disciplinary action yet, a fine in the thousands appears likely, according to multiple reports.

The moment reflects a larger trend across professional basketball. Officiating is under the microscope, and players increasingly use their platforms to speak out. Whether the league takes issue with the message, the language, or the setting remains to be seen. However, the WNBA usually doesn’t look the other way when it comes to public criticism.

Griner, one of the league’s most high-profile veterans, may have just tested the boundaries of what’s acceptable, even for someone with her star power.

Basketball fans are in stitches over a viral video of Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese missing not one, not two and not three…but four (!) shots over an 11-second sequence.

Angel Reese and the Sky hosted the New York Liberty on Thursday night, looking to avoid an 0-2 start following their 93-58 blowout loss against Caitlin Clark and the Chicago Sky in the season opener.

But for the second straight game, very little went right for Reese and the Sky in another lopsided defeat. They fell 99-74 to the visiting Liberty, shooting just 36.2 percent from the field as a team.

Perhaps the clip below in the first quarter best sums up the night for Reese and company. Early in the first quarter, Reese missed four shots over an 11-second span, but she at least bolstered her stats by obtaining the rebound each time:

Social media had a field day teeing off on Angel Reese over the four awful missed shots in the 11-second period:

“Submitting this to Americas Funniest home videos asap,” a user wrote.

“She needs to have asterisks next to her double double record. This is heinous,” one fan wrote.

“Just give her the MVP already,” joked another.

“Does 3 travelings equal 1 traveling in the WNBA? Lol,” wrote a user.

“Just smash the over on rebounds 😂easy money,” another quipped.

“They need to change the stat allocation just for her lol,” said a user.

Angel Reese briefly set the WNBA single-season rebound record last year with 446 before undergoing season-ending wrist surgery. Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson wound up breaking the record, finishing with 451.

For what it’s worth, Reese is at 29 rebounds through Chicago’s first two games.

The 0-2 Sky will try to avoid an 0-3 start when they visit the Los Angeles Sparks (1-2) at Crypto.com Arena on Sunday. This will be the second contest of a three-game homestand for the Sparks, who host the Golden State Valkyries on Friday.

Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is not the most popular guy on TV. That much was apparent while he was calling the Wild Card game between the Broncos and Bills for CBS on Sunday.

Romo, who has done very little to hide how much he admires Buffalo QB Josh Allen, had some praise for the MVP favorite while he was attempting to take his team to the Divisional Round.

Some fans felt like he was being overly gracious, while some simply couldn’t stand him talking in general.

“STFU AGAIN ROMO!!!!!!!!! I’M TIRED OF YOUR BILLS AND CHIEFS GLAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU’RE SICKENING ASF!!!!!!!!!!” an X user wrote.

“Can we start a petition to ban Romo from calling games,” another asked.

“Can Tony Romo get off his kneees for Josh Allen?” someone else chimed in.

“Tv muted when romo starts talking,” a fan claimed.

Tony Romo’s Partner Reached Impressive Milestone

While Romo was getting slammed, his broadcast colleague touched an impressive milestone.

Jim Nantz has been with CBS for over 40 years and reached his 500th game with the network calling Sunday’s fixture.

Nantz and Romo have been working together for seven of those 40 years.

Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson has emerged as one of the most prominent figures in women’s basketball. Her outstanding achievements and dominant performances on the court have boosted her confidence in her skills. However, this confidence has recently caused her some trouble, as NBA fans criticized her for a recent statement she made.

In a recent episode of the “Roommates” show, Wilson stunned both the NBA and WNBA by claiming that she could defeat New York Knicks star Josh Hart in a one-on-one matchup. Additionally, she predicted that the final score would be 11-8.

“Score would be 11-8, me. I’m not saying you gonna go scoreless, 8 to 11 is pretty solid. So, what do you think it’ll be, Josh?” Wilson said.

Although Josh and Wilson both had a good laugh during their conversation, Wilson’s comment stirred up the basketball community. “She’d lose 11-0 w him only playing w his offhand,” one fan said.
