BREAKING Sheryl Swoopes OFFICIALLY FIRED From ALL 2025 WNBA TV For Her Caitlin Clark LIES!

“Did you really think you could lie about Caitlin Clark of the WNBA Indiana Fever for a whole year and keep your broadcasting job?”

That’s the question nobody needed to ask Sheryl Swoopes because we just got our answer – she’s been officially fired from all WNBA TV broadcasts for the 2025 season.

Embarrassment for Sheryl Swoopes as Diana Taurasi & Caitlin Clark Clap Back on Indiana Locker Room Rumors

    feature-image

“There’s a lot of other s*** going on, that other [Fever] players are like ‘This ain’t where I want to be’. So you have players that are very significant on this Indiana Fever team that are like, ‘I don’t… I don’t think this is where I wanna be this year’”. Sheryl Swoopes’ remarks made during an appearance on the ‘Gil’s Arena’ show back in September 2024 certainly raised some eyebrows.

It was no secret that the former WNBA player was among those who weren’t easily impressed by Caitlin Clark. However, she downright implied that there were tensions in the locker room because of her. Swoopes did not give any proof, and stated, “I’m not in the locker room. I don’t know. I’m not even on the team”. Well, two people who were there to watch the Indiana Fever’s mood recently chose to set the record straight.

Paige Bueckers has finally done it.

The Connecticut Huskies dominated their way to a national championship on Sunday. They had no issues with the South Carolina Gamecocks and defeated them by a score of 82-59.

This victory marked UConn’s first title since 2016 and their 12th all-time, making them the program with the most national championships in college basketball history.

The projected No. 1 pick in the WNBA draft set a program and NCAA tournament record in the victory over South Carolina.

Paige Bueckers scored 17 points in her career finale with the Huskies. With that, she became the Huskies’ all-time leading scorer in the tournament with 477 points, putting her ahead of program legend Maya Moore by one point.

After leading the Huskies to the Final Four, the Minnesota native took a moment with the media to share something deeply personal.

Bueckers didn’t shy away with her answer when asked whether she had thought about what it would be like if Gigi Bryant were still here.

“There have been times this whole weekend and throughout the whole tournament I feel like God has really shown himself. My mom staying in room 824 which are both of Kobe’s numbers and stuff like that. Kobe’s watching over us. Gigi’s watching over us. Abby… and everybody. I felt their presence for sure.” Paige Bueckers said to reporters.

As we all know, Kobe Bryant and Gigi Bryant lost their lives on January 26th, 2020, in a helicopter crash along with seven others.

With the win, Bueckers, who is expected to be the No. 1 pick in the WNBA draft on April 14, puts a flourish on her spectacular UConn career.

The WNBA draft is set to take place in New York City next week.

If Bueckers is indeed the first player off the board, she will be the sixth Connecticut Husky to be selected first overall.

Social media might be down incredibly bad as Lucia from Grand Theft Auto is going insanely viral.

GTA 6 broke the record for the longest wait between a first and second trailer for a Rockstar Games title ever.

Rockstar has built a rich world of criminals, lunatics, and thieves spanning from Liberty City to San Andreas and beyond. With GTA 6 on the horizon, fans have become ecstatic after seeing a picture of Lucia.

For those unaware, she is a female criminal in the game. Grand Theft Auto states that she did her time at a prison complex in the State of Leonida in the mid-2020s for an unknown crime.

As anticipation builds for the release of Grand Theft Auto 6, a picture shows Lucia stripped down to a two-piece bikini.

Here is how fans reacted to Lucia’s apparent new look in Grand Theft Auto:

“Everything is woke if you’ve never seen a woman’s body irl,” one fan said.

“They better have some awesome clothing to choose from. Gotta look cute while doing missions,” a second fan added.

A third fan knew they were no match for her: “If I was in a beauty contest against her, she’d get first place, and I’d get disqualified.”

“She’s beautiful, my sapphic heart can’t take it 🤧,” another X user added.

“not leaving my house anytime soon,” a fan stated about the impending release of the game.

“No arsenal, but ima be a gooner for sure, a sixth fan added.

One final fan added: “Anybody upset about a video game character needs to seriously reevaluate their life.”

After more than a decade of waiting, Grand Theft Auto VI is supposedly finally set to come out in 2025.

Despite their hopes for a release this year fading, the community remains engaged in hopes that a second trailer will be released in early 2025 and a release date of the actual game will come out.

With each passing day, the desire for more news grows stronger.

Hopefully, 2025 will give the fans what they so desperately want.

  • Carrie Underwood Brings Audience to Tears with Emotional Tribute to Randy Travis at Opry 100

Carrie Underwood Brings Audience to Tears with Emotional Tribute to Randy Travis at Opry 100

Có thể là hình ảnh về 5 người và tóc vàng

Carrie Underwood Honors Randy Travis in a Powerful Full-Circle Moment at NBC’s Opry 100

Twenty years ago, a 22-year-old Carrie Underwood stepped onto the Grand Ole Opry stage for the very first time — fresh off her historic win as the first country singer to take the American Idol crown. Just three years later, that rising star became part of country music royalty when Randy Travis himself surprised her with an invitation to officially join the Opry family.

Now, two decades later, Carrie Underwood returned to that same iconic stage — this time, not as the newcomer, but as the seasoned superstar — to headline NBC’s Opry 100: A Live Celebration on March 19, alongside legends like Reba McEntire and Brad Paisley.

And what unfolded that night was nothing short of magic.

    A Tribute from the Heart

In a moving tribute to the man who once welcomed her into the Opry circle, Carrie performed two of Randy Travis’s most beloved songs:
“Three Wooden Crosses” and “Forever and Ever, Amen.”

But the real moment that brought the crowd to tears came at the very end of her performance, when Carrie walked into the audience, found Randy Travis, and gently handed him the microphone for the final “Amen.”

“Randy Travis, everybody!” she said, her voice filled with reverence and joy.

Though Travis has struggled with speech since a near-fatal stroke in 2013, which left him with aphasia, his glowing smile and the standing ovation that followed said more than words ever could.

     A Century of Country Legacy

Carrie’s performance was part of a celebration marking 100 years since the birth of the Grand Ole Opry, a stage that shaped country music into what it is today.

The story of the Opry began in 1925, when WSM — a radio station launched by the National Life and Accident Insurance Company — aired a new program called WSM Barn Dance. Hosted by announcer George D. Hay and featuring 77-year-old fiddle player Uncle Jimmy Thompson, that night laid the foundation for what would become the longest-running radio broadcast in history: the Grand Ole Opry.

So when Carrie Underwood took that stage again — decades later — her presence was more than just star power. It was a passing of the torch, a recognition of her place in a lineage that began long before she was born and will continue long after.

Carrie: From Quiet Observer to Country Queen

While she lit up the stage with confidence during her Opry 100 performance, Carrie Underwood has never hidden her humble nature and quiet beginnings.

“I just wish I was smoother. I never know what to say,” she once shared in an interview.
“I’m the worst person in social situations. I’m such a quiet watcher. I love to go places and just sit and watch other people.”

That honesty only makes her rise more remarkable. From small-town Oklahoma to one of the most decorated artists in country music history — 16-time ACM Award winner, Opry member, and global superstar — Carrie Underwood has never forgotten where she came from or who helped her along the way.

A Night That Brought It All Full Circle

NBC’s Opry 100: A Live Celebration was filled with music, legends, and standing ovations — but nothing captured the soul of the night like Carrie Underwood honoring the very man who once honored her.

As she stood beside Randy Travis, the crowd on its feet, the past and present came together in one unforgettable moment of respect, grace, and gratitude.

The March 31 episode of the ABC hit series showcased Littrell fighting for a spot in the next round of competition during Hollywood Week — and his performance is already going viral. While many contestants brought covers, Baylee once again chose something far more personal: an original song.

🌟 A Star in the Making — With Music in His Blood

Baylee Littrell may be a newcomer to Idol fans, but music runs in his veins. As the son of Backstreet Boys legend Brian Littrell, he’s grown up surrounded by music — but now, he’s proving he’s got what it takes to shine on his own.

During auditions, Baylee wowed judges Carrie UnderwoodLuke Bryan, and Lionel Richie with a self-written original, a bold move that earned him a ticket to Hollywood. For the next round, he doubled down with another personal piece — a soul-stirring ballad titled “Hey Jesus.”

💔 The Emotional Story Behind “Hey Jesus”

Before stepping onto the stage, Baylee opened up about the inspiration behind his song in a heartfelt video shared on YouTube.

“I wrote this song when I was going through a pretty tough time in my life,” he revealed. “I lost somebody I loved. My grandma, Shirley, was my best friend. When my dad was away on tour, she was always there for me. I didn’t expect to lose her… and I questioned everything — even my faith. This song helped me find it again.”

The emotional vulnerability poured into every lyric of “Hey Jesus” didn’t just move the judges — it left millions of fans speechless.

💬 Fans Say: “He’s Already Won”

Shortly after the performance aired, Baylee Littrell began trending across social media, with viewers declaring that he’s already a winner in their eyes.

“Regardless if he wins the show… he’s already won! ❤️”
“Baylee Littrell is my only pick to win it all,” said another.
“I want him to win. His voice, his emotion… he’s the real deal.”

The Hollywood Week performance secured Baylee a spot in the Showstoppers round, taking him one step closer to becoming the next American Idol.

🎶 What’s Next for Baylee Littrell?

With his authentic lyricsemotional storytelling, and undeniable stage presence, Baylee Littrell has already carved a unique space for himself in this season’s competition.

While we don’t yet know who will take home the American Idol crown, one thing is clear: Baylee has already won over the hearts of America.

We’ll be tuning in next week to see what he sings next — and if this momentum continues, we just might be witnessing the rise of American Idol’s next big star.

Tom Cruise Pays Emotional Tribute to Val Kilmer “I Wish You Well on the Next Journey”

At this year’s CinemaCon in Las Vegas, while promoting the highly anticipated Mission: Impossible – The Final ReckoningTom Cruise took a heartfelt detour to honor someone who meant a great deal to him — his late Top Gun co-star and dear friend, Val Kilmer.

The moment was powerful and quiet. Standing on stage, Cruise paused the excitement of blockbuster talk to reflect on a man whose legacy shaped Hollywood history, and whose impact was deeply personal.

“I can’t tell you how much I admire his work, how grateful and honored I was when he joined ‘Top Gun’ and came back later for ‘Top Gun: Maverick,’” Cruise told the crowd.

He then asked the audience to join him in a moment of silence — a tribute to a life lived with passion, artistry, and unforgettable presence.

“He loved movies, and he gave a lot to all of us. Just think about all the wonderful times we had with him,” Cruise added, visibly moved.

As the room fell silent, filled with reverence, Cruise closed the tribute with one final, deeply human message:

“I wish you well on the next journey.”

A Legacy Born in Top Gun

Cruise and Kilmer shared the screen for the first time in the 1986 action classic Top Gun, with Cruise playing the daring and defiant Lt. Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, and Kilmer taking on the role of his cool, confident rival Tom “Iceman” Kazansky. Their on-screen rivalry became iconic — and laid the foundation for a real-life friendship that would last decades.

They reunited in 2022’s Top Gun: Maverick, where Kilmer made a powerful cameo despite health challenges. The emotional scene between Maverick and Iceman resonated deeply with fans, especially as Kilmer had lost much of his voice due to illness — making his appearance all the more courageous and meaningful.

    Saying Goodbye to a Legend

Val Kilmer passed away from pneumonia, confirmed by his daughter Mercedes Kilmer. He was 65.

His health had been fragile in recent years. Diagnosed with throat cancer in 2015, Kilmer underwent a tracheotomy that left him with limited ability to speak — but never stopped him from expressing his art, his thoughts, and his love for film.

Despite his illness, Kilmer remained active and inspiring, even releasing a powerful documentary titled Val in 2021, offering fans a rare, intimate look at his life, struggles, and triumphs.

He is survived by his children, Mercedes and Jack Kilmer, who both continue to carry his spirit forward.

More Than an Actor — A Hollywood Original

From his unforgettable turn as Jim Morrison in The Doors to his hauntingly brilliant portrayal of Doc Holliday in Tombstone, Val Kilmer left behind a body of work that few can match. He brought depth, charm, and edge to every role — always pushing boundaries, always leaving an impression.

Tom Cruise’s public tribute wasn’t just a farewell — it was a recognition of a brotherhood formed on set, forged through years, and sealed in legacy.

    Rest in peace, Val Kilmer.
Your voice, your presence, and your art will live on.

Michael Douglas Pays Tribute to Val Kilmer After His Death: “His Legacy Will Live On Forever”

Hollywood legend Michael Douglas took to Instagram to pay an emotional tribute to his late co-star Val Kilmer, who passed away at the age of 65. In his touching post, Douglas shared a nostalgic photo of the two actors on the set of their 1996 adventure film The Ghost and the Darkness and wrote:

“RIP Val Kilmer. It was an honor working with Val on The Ghost and the Darkness nearly 30 years ago. Val will be greatly missed, but his legacy will live on forever in the films and performances he so brilliantly shared with us.”

Michael Douglas and Val Kilmer co-starred in The Ghost and the Darkness, a film based on the real-life story of two lions that terrorized workers in Tsavo, Kenya, during the construction of a railroad in the late 1800s. Kilmer played Lt. Colonel John Henry Patterson, a determined bridge engineer, while Douglas portrayed Charles Remington, a big-game hunter brought in to stop the killings. The film showcased both actors’ versatility and commitment to bringing compelling, larger-than-life characters to the screen.

Val Kilmer was widely respected in the film industry for his talent, intensity, and charisma. His breakout role came as “Iceman” in Top Gun, opposite Tom Cruise, and he later delivered unforgettable performances as Jim Morrison in The Doors, Doc Holliday in Tombstone, and Bruce Wayne in Batman Forever. Known for his ability to disappear into roles, Kilmer left an indelible mark on Hollywood and on the hearts of his fans.

Kilmer’s death was confirmed by his daughter, Mercedes Kilmer, who revealed that he passed away from complications related to pneumonia on April 1, 2025. He had long battled throat cancer, which was first diagnosed in 2014. A tracheotomy left him with limited speech in later years, but his passion for storytelling never faded. His life and battle with illness were candidly portrayed in the 2021 documentary Val, which offered fans a deeply personal look at the man behind the iconic roles.

Michael Douglas’ tribute reflects the deep respect and admiration so many in the industry held for Kilmer—not only as a performer but as a person. The two shared a memorable on-screen bond in The Ghost and the Darkness, and Douglas’ heartfelt message reminds fans of the enduring legacy Kilmer leaves behind.

Kilmer is survived by his daughter Mercedes and son Jack. Though he may be gone, the roles he embodied and the emotions he stirred live on in every frame of film he graced.

Carrie Underwood Throws Playful Jab at Idol Co-Star and Fans Can’t Get Enough of Their Chemistry

Carrie Underwood roasts American Idol co-star as fans react to judges’ chemistry

Fact Check: Carrie Underwood Didn't Lose 1.5M Spotify Listeners After Trump Inauguration Announcement

She joined Season 23 as a judge to replace fellow singer Katy Perry, who left for her world tour and travel to space in a historic Blue Origin flight.

Carrie has received plenty of backlash and criticism upon joining due to her inauguration performance earlier this year.

Some critics have also called out the Season 4 winner for her unrecognizable appearance amid potential cosmetic surgery upgrades.

Many fans also still support the Idol star and enjoy seeing what she brings to the singing competition show each week.

During one episode, she and her co-stars, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie, had a brief exchange about their music, and Carrie quickly shot down one of them as far as a musician.

Carrie roasted American Idol co-star with a burn about his music career

How to watch Carrie Underwood in 'American Idol' Season 23

After the American Idol judges listen to and watch contestant auditions, they offer praise, criticism, and helpful advice for the aspiring musicians.

Carrie had an excellent suggestion for one contestant, which she still uses herself.

“You need to go and watch some of your favorite performers because I still do that,” she told the contestant after their audition.

“You watch me?” Luke asked with a smile, seeming to prepare himself for her reply.

“I watch Lionel,” she quickly replied, with Lionel telling her, “God bless ya, Carrie.”

Lionel’s music career began in the 1970s. It included writing, producing, and releasing hit music, such as the late Kenny Rogers’ No. 1 song, Lady, and his own No. 1 songs, All Night Long and My Endless Love with Diana Ross.

Luke is younger, but certainly no slouch regarding his music career. His first 10 albums contained 30 No. 1 hits, and he has achieved many awards, ranging from Billboard and CMT to American Music Awards.

Carrie has previously admitted she has a good friendship with Luke, so the playful jab seemed nothing more than joking between friends.

Here’s what some fans said about Carrie as part of the American Idol judges

In the comment section, fans expressed lukewarm and disapproving reactions about the newest American Idol judge. Some seem ready to bring back the judge Carrie replaced.

“I love this show, so I’m watching… Carrie is ok That’s it,” a commenter wrote.

Another said, “Katy had better chemistry with the Lionel and Luke. Carrie’s ok but I don’t think she’ll judge for as long as Katy did.”

    Pic credit: @americanidol/Instagram

One fan commented that they “don’t watch @carrieunderwood,” while another said, “@lionelrichie is the only judge I like on this current panel. I miss @katyperry.”

Katy, who spent seven seasons as a judge, hasn’t expressed any interest in returning quite yet. However, she admitted she missed the American Idol show and stays in touch with her co-stars, Luke and Lionel.

A star is born in Dallas! Seventeen-year-old Canaan James Hill stunned the American Idol judges and America alike with a voice that felt heaven-sent. As the final contestant of the audition rounds, Hill not only closed the night on a high note—he walked away with the final Platinum Ticket of the season.

A Divine Purpose and a Heavenly Voice

Canaan, a recent early high school graduate, made it clear that his mission is more than fame—it’s a calling. When asked by Luke Bryan why he chose to finish school early, Canaan humbly responded:

“So that I can go forward with my gift and do what God has called and chosen me to do.”

That gift? A powerhouse, velvet-smooth voice that sent chills down spines when he performed “I Need Your Glory” by Earnest Pugh.

The Judges’ Reactions Say It All

From the very first note, the studio transformed into a spiritual revival. Lionel Richie was visibly moved, praising the performance:

“That was so powerful. You are so blessed. That was something so spectacular, I can’t even describe what I heard.”

Guest judge Carrie Underwood was equally speechless, saying:

“Velvet, butter… it was smooth but powerful. You have a gift. Thank you for bringing it to us.”

Even Luke Bryan couldn’t hide his awe, joking:

“Do people just run to the baptism pit when you sing in church? That was like butter pecan ice cream and barbecue—every Southern favorite in one performance.”

    A Platinum Moment to Remember

Instead of just giving a yes, Lionel Richie leapt from his seat and embraced Canaan on stage, sealing the moment with a hug that said more than words ever could.

The audience, both in-studio and at home, was left emotional, inspired, and certain: Canaan James Hill is one to watch.

    Why This Performance Matters

In a world flooded with auto-tuned pop hits, Canaan reminded everyone of the raw, healing power of gospel and soul. His performance wasn’t just about hitting the right notes—it was about lifting spirits, sharing truth, and connecting deeply through music.

BREAKING: Reba McEntire’s Surprise Cast Reunion After 18 Years Has Everyone Talking

Happy’s Place Cast Update Sets Up A Major Reba Reunion, 18 Years After The Comedy Series Ended

Cole Brings Plenty as Pete riding his horse in 1923 Bobbie, Gracie, and Isabelle posing for a photo in Happy's Place season 1, episode 10 Happy's-Place's-Reba-Reunion-Creates-A-Character-Problem-That-Needs-To-Be-Fixed Belissa Escobedo as Isabella, Reba McEntire as Bobbie looking shocked in Happy's Place

The new cast update for Happy’s Place confirms a Reba reunion. The new 2024 comedy series follows Bobbie (Reba McEntire), a woman who unexpectedly finds herself partnering with her lost half-sister, Isabella (Belissa Escobedo), in running her late father’s tavern. Since its release in October 2024, Happy’s Place has earned mostly positive reviews and solid viewer retention. On top of that, McEntire has already reunited with several Reba cast members, and now it appears that list will grow.

Now, Variety reported that Christopher Rich and Justina Machado will have guest roles in Happy’s Place. This casting news marks a Reba reunion between McEntire and Rich, who portrayed the role of Brock Hart, the ex-husband in the 2007 sitcom.

In Happy’s Place, Rich will portray Maverick, a funny tattoo artist who can only do tattoos with his right hand due to a stroke. On the other hand, Machado, known for her roles in Jane the Virgin, One Day at a Time, and Queen of the South, plays Maritza, Isabella’s mother and a successful lawyer.

What This Means for Happy’s Place and Its Characters

Happy’s Place Is Tapping Into Recognizable Talent

Rich and Machado’s casting reaffirms Happy’s Place’s commitment to tapping into familiar and veteran talent. Rich and McEntire’s reunion is clearly not the first, as the series has already brought many familiar Reba cast members to the spotlight, including Melissa Peterman and Steve Howey.

While Howey has just a guest role as Danny, Peterman portrays the main character, Gabby, a bartender who helps Bobby at the tavern. However, Rich is major since this would mark his reunion with McEntire after the 2001 comedy series ended 18 years ago.

Bobbie, Gracie, and Isabelle posing for a photo in Happy's Place season 1, episode 10

On the other hand, Machado’s involvement enriches Happy’s Place’s ensemble with a new character who brings depth, strength, and a no-nonsense attitude.

With the key premise focused on Bobby learning about her lost half-sister, the introduction of Isabella’s mother could establish more details about the relationship between her and Happy. However, it’s uncertain when either Machado or Rich will make their guest appearances.

Our Take on Happy’s Place’s Guest Star Announcement

New Characters Promise New Relationships & Dynamics

Melissa Peterman as Gabby and Reba McEntire as Bobbie hugging in Happy's Place

Bringing Rich and Machado into Happy’s Place further strengthens the show’s character-driven approach. Rich’s appearance provides a nostalgic nod to their time on Reba together, while Machado adds a revived dynamic to the series, particularly how it will impact Isabella and Bobbie.

These additions demonstrate the sitcom’s commitment to diversifying its character roster and creating a viewing experience where humor and heart coexist. As Happy’s Place continues to evolve, guest roles will likely contribute to its overall success and audience engagement.
