Tom Brady does NOT have a new woman in his life, after all.

On Monday, TMZ reported that Tom Brady arrived at David Beckham’s 50th birthday party with a mystery woman. The outlet wrote that they “showed up together, wore matching attire …and walked in with some of Brady’s pals” and were “schmoozing.”

But in an update, the outlet reported that the woman is Heather Domi, the wife of former Toronto Maple Leafs star Tie Domi. The latter also attended Beckham’s birthday and is good friends with Brady, so there’s nothing more to see here.

Tie Domi had three children with his first wife, Leanne, including son Max Domi. Max was a 2013 first-round pick by the Phoenix Coyotes (now Utah Hockey Club) and is in his second season with the Maple Leafs. Tie married Heather in 2017.

In the fall, Tie posted an Instagram video of Tom Brady skating for the very first time, and in full hockey gear no less.

Brady was married to supermodel Gisele Bündchen from 2009 to 2022, and they had two children together. The two announced their divorce in October 2022, agreeing to joint custody of their kids.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion was said to be dating model Irina Shayk, though little is known about how serious the romance was. In the meantime, it appears that Brady remains one of the most eligible bachelors in the celebrity world.

NFL fans had a lot to say after Patrick Mahomes linked up with soccer superstar Lionel Messi. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and the Inter Miami forward joined forces at a FIFA World Cup event with Adidas.

Pat McAfee’s being well-tuned to what is happening on social media could prove to be his downfall after he brought up Mary Kate Cornett.

The University of Mississippi student found herself buzzing online in February for all the wrong reasons. Cornett became a trending topic on X, formerly Twitter, over allegations that she was involved in an affair with her boyfriend’s father.

Cornett, the 19-year-old college freshman in question, has broken her silence and revealed that the viral rumors have turned her life upside down. She says McAfee helped spread them by discussing them on his show on February 26.

McAfee is featured in The Athletic’s Katie Strang’s story because he was one of many media personalities to amplify the rumor.

“He [McAfee] teases the subject, asking [guest Adam] Schefter: “Have you heard about Ole Miss?” One of his cohorts says, “There is a ménage à trois …” that, McAfee adds, “has really captivated the internet.” After some more buildup, McAfee dives in.

“Some Ole Miss frat bro, k? Had a K-D (Kappa Delta) girlfriend,” McAfee says, and then he stresses the word “allegedly.”

“At this exact moment, this is what is being reported by … everybody on the internet: Dad had sex with son’s girlfriend.” Another person on set chimes in – “Not great” – and then McAfee adds: “And then it was made public … that’s the absolute worst-case situation.”

‘I would like people to be held accountable for what they’ve done,’ Mary Kate Cornett said in an interview with The Athletic.

 

‘You’re ruining my life by talking about it on your show for nothing but attention, but here I am staying up until 5 in the morning, every night, throwing up, not eating because I’m so anxious about what’s going to happen for the rest of my life.

‘They don’t think it matters, because they don’t know who I am and they think that I deserve it, but I don’t.’

Cornett’s attorney, Monica Uddin, says her team may look at action at those who profited from promoting a false rumor, saying to The Athletic: This is just a wild west version of a very familiar problem.

‘It’s just that it’s even worse because it’s not a company. It’s an 18-year-old girl.

‘They elevated a lie from the worst corners of (X) to millions of general sports fans just to get a few more clicks and ultimately a few more dollars. While they don’t have to deal with it after it airs, the lie is chained to Mary Kate for the rest of her life.’

What has happened to Andy Reid? It seems that inflation in A merica has taken his facial hair.

The Kansas City Chiefs head coach had everyone doing a double-take after he was pictured at the Owner’s meeting looking quite different.

Reid was posing in a Chiefs shirt with others while sporting a shaved mustache.

To be fair, the day is April 1st, so we are not sure if this was real or a joke.

Grammy Award-winning singer and ‘American Idol’ judge Carrie Underwood got an outsider perspective on just how much she has aced the NFL ‘Sunday Night Football’ theme song.

Since 2013, NBC’s Sunday Night Football program has used Carrie Underwood’s performance of their theme song, “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night.” Underwood replaced Faith Hill, who was featured on the SNF intro from 2007 to 2012.

A singer going by the name of “YANI” auditioned in front of Underwood, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan for season 23 of American Idol. Yani said she’d sing a “familiar” tune to the judges before launching into an Underwood-like rendition of the SNF theme song.

And Underwood was left speechless left over YANI’s masterful performance:

Bryan gave his verdict first, telling YANI it was a “no” since he found her performance of the Sunday Night Football song “theatrical.” Underwood gave it a yes, admitting that she wasn’t sure if Yani was “right for the show,” but she couldn’t say no to the voice.

The cameras then turned to Richie, who told YANI she was “so damn good at it.” The three judges then told her she was Hollywood-bound:

The 2025 NFL regular season schedule likely won’t be announced until the second week of May. What we do know is that the NBC Sunday Night Football program will call Super Bowl 60 next season, with Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth in the booth.

This will be Mike Tirico’s first Super Bowl in the broadcast booth. He replaced Al Michaels as SNF’s play-by-play voice in 2022, after the former called Super Bowl 56 between the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals with Collinsworth.

Kelsea Ballerini is battling a nasty case of the flu this week, and it has affected her live show.

But if that weren’t enough, she’s also dealing with intrusive comments from fans who theorize that her illness might be related to a pregnancy.

Ballerini shut those rumors down on social media over the weekend, replying to a comment from one user who speculated “Maybe pregnant?!?” in response to her ongoing illness.

In the video, the singer gives the camera a long, weary look.

“Or maybe it’s the flu,” she deadpans.

After struggling through last Thursday’s (Feb. 4) show in Detroit, she ended a date in Buffalo early and rescheduled three dates — including the Buffalo stop — for a later date.
These shows are all part of Ballerini’s current tour.
The trek launched in January and is the singer’s first arena tour.

After the postponements, Ballerini’s opening act Marynn Taylor shared a message of support for her headliner on Instagram, assuring fans that “she gave absolutely everything she could, but vocal cords will just give out if you are that sick.”

Taylor urged fans to stay positive towards Ballerini as she rests and heals, adding, “Maybe pray for her to get better soon? Comment something nice about her on her post or a post? Give her some grace and love?”

It’s not the first time that Ballerini has had to clear up a pregnancy rumor. After the 2020 CMA Awards, the singer also responded to a fan who thought her outfit at the awards show looked like she might be concealing a pregnancy.

“I’m sure you mean well, but it’s incredibly insensitive to ask or assume if another woman is pregnant,” Ballerini said at the time, adding that she was “just carrying my organs around” and calling for fans to “not judge bloat levels on the internet.”

Ballerini’s next scheduled tour stop is set for Monday (Feb. 10) in Philadelphia.

Kat Dennings and Seann William Scott are getting candid about what it’s like working with their legendary costar Tim Allen.

Ahead of the Wednesday, March 19 season finale of their ABC sitcom Shifting Gears, Dennings and Scott spoke with PEOPLE about what Allen, 71, is really like on set. Before meeting the Toy Story actor in real life, Dennings, 38, knew from her years of working in Hollywood to keep her expectations in check.

“I have learned through experience that you just never really know how someone’s going to be, especially when they have such a long-running career,” she tells PEOPLE. “Sometimes they’re exactly what you think, sometimes they’re the complete opposite.”

Thankfully, in Allen’s case, the comedian proved to be “kind” and “welcoming” to everyone on set. “I was very happily surprised,” Dennings says.

The 2 Broke Girls alum also shared that Allen loves to make the crew and his costars laugh. “He has the funny bone of a 9-year-old boy,” she adds, noting that her TV dad often “walks into walls” and “bangs something and scares everybody.”

“He just has a blast,” Dennings says.

As for Scott, 48, working with Allen has been a special experience because he reminds the American Pie actor of his late father.

“He kind of reminds me of my dad, actually,” he says. “My dad passed away a while ago, you know, but even one of my brothers who loves the show sent me a text. He’s like, ‘Tim really reminds me of dad,’ and I was like, ‘Yeah, you know, it’s true. He does.’”

Beyond reminding him of his father, Scott was impressed by how genuinely “fun” Allen is when they’re working together.

“I think when you’ve had that much success, there’s a good chance somebody could come in and not be as fun to work with and maybe just be kind of a jerk,” Scott tells PEOPLE.

Instead, Allen is “just funny and always cracking jokes,” according to Scott. He adds, “He’s definitely a guy’s guy, you know?”

In the season 1 finale of Shifting Gears, Allen’s Matt finds himself in the tricky position of trying to stay neutral as his daughter Riley (Dennings) tries to decide between reuniting with her ex or forging a new path for her and her kids. ABC hasn’t renewed the comedy for season 2 yet, but Scott and Dennings are both eager to continue exploring their characters for years to come.

Monday’s episode of The Voice was an emotional one, as the coaches once again divided their teams into pairs and were forced to choose just one to keep on their team. Yes, it was the beginning of the Knockouts round.

Kelsea Ballerini, who is in her first season as a coach, broke into tears during rehearsals, as she listened to singer Angie Rey, a 25-year-old from Seminole, Fla., prepare “Dirt Cheap” by country singer Cody Johnson.

“This song is about the idea that memories are worth a lot more than just money,” Rey told the camera. When it cut back to Ballerini watching Rey, the coach was wiping away tears, and Rey stopped. “I can’t do it with you crying,” she told Ballerini, fighting back tears herself.

The country star then told the camera in an aside, “I got emotional because my dog is super sick. But that is the thing about country music is that it does talk about real life and the things that are hard to talk about.”

When Rey took the stage for the actual performance, Ballerini was again moved and began crying during her evaluation.

“You were just so lovely,” Ballerini told her. “And I really appreciated you kind of reigning back a little bit and showing more of that storytelling side of your voice, ’cause that’s a big part of singing country music. I just think you’re amazing.”

Rey’s competition, 19-year-old Iris Herrera from Newaygo, Mich., walked away with the win, however, for her take on Ray LaMontagne’s “Jolene.” Ballerini made the call to keep Herrera despite being unfamiliar with the song before Herrera began rehearsing.

Ballerini told Herrera that her voice was “so unique, so pretty” and “lived-in and beautiful.” It sometimes reminds her of Miley Cyrus, she said.

Before Ballerini made her decision, she talked about what a tough one it was for her, but she said that, ultimately, it was Herrera’s showmanship and the emotion she was able to convey in a song about addiction that the coach felt connected to. Herrera had noted that she had family members who had struggled with it.

“Iris just feels further along in her vocal journey,” Ballerini explained. “Watching her get vulnerable, get emotional was the reason that I picked Iris. I already have some song ideas in my head for the playoffs of how to really lean into that grit.”

After Ballerini made her move, fellow coach Michael Bublé swept in to save the day, as he used a “steal” to scoop up Rey for his team.

As he and coaches John Legend and Adam Levine had weighed in on which of the artists they would choose, Bublé had been particularly supportive of Rey. The “Home” crooner told her that she deserved an Academy Award for the emotion that she showed.

While his move was a strong one for his team, it also made Ballerini ecstatic.

“I never loved Michael Bublé more than him stealing Angie,” she said.

Reba McEntire spent her 70th birthday playing a show in Uncasville, Conn. But just because the singer was traveling didn’t mean she didn’t get to see family.

In fact, her son Shelby Blackstock and his wife Marissa pulled off a truly incredible birthday surprise to make sure they were there to celebrate McEntire’s special day. They kept the whole thing under wraps, and when they finally pulled off the big reveal, McEntire was so shocked that all she could do was cry happy tears.

Marissa documented the whole thing on social media, including an elaborate ruse to make sure that her country star mother-in-law had no idea they were coming.

The couple came up with an alibi, even posting on Facebook that they were headed to Chicago for a baby shower. But it was all an elaborate scheme: They were in fact headed to Connecticut to attend McEntire’s show and surprise her with a party afterwards.

“We lied…BIG TIME,” Marissa joked in her video recap, posting a selfie from the audience of McEntire’s set during her performance of her song, “You Lie.”

At this point, the singer still had no idea that her son and daughter-in-law were in the audience.

That surprise came later, after the concert, when McEntire and her boyfriend Rex Linn walked back into the green room. She was too shocked to say anything at first when she spotted her son in the crowd, but the singer’s stunned smile, and the tears that followed, said it all.

Still speechless, an emotional McEntire walked up to give Shelby a hug, and they joked about all the lies he had to tell in order to pull off the surprise visit.

Then the family celebrated with friends, presents and even a spectacular red birthday cake decorated with a sparkler.

 

On Friday (March 28) to celebrate her birthday, McEntire shared a lengthy account of the day she was born with her fans. The singer revealed that she was a breech birth — meaning that she was positioned rump first, not head first, as she descended into the birth canal.

That meant doctors had to turn her around before her mother, Jacqueline Smith, gave birth: A painful procedure, and McEntire said that Jacqueline had “only gas” as pain relief.

“After all that, she kept me. So glad she did,” McEntire said in her post.

 

 

THROUGHOUT the years, many contestants have sung their hearts out, trying to impress judges and viewers on American Idol.

Yet, with a singing contest that has produced thousands of wannabe superstars, fans of the series have been calling their compensation into question.

Are American Idol contestants paid to be on the show?

American Idol first debuted on Fox on June 11, 2002.

Since then, there have been 22 seasons, and the singing contest officially moved to ABC in 2018.

In the two decades of the show, thousands of contestants have competed, with many even giving up their jobs to record episodes.

The show has a compensation structure in place for those who get to the latter stages.

Fox Business previously confirmed that contestants who make the top 12 – which has since expanded to 24 – receive paychecks according to the length of time they film.

A two-hour episode reaps roughly $1500, a one-hour show reaps approximately $1300, and a 30-minute show sees a payment of around $910.

Contestants reportedly receive $450 to spend on clothes while food is included.

However, to receive that pay, they must have enrolled in the AFTRA union, which is a $1,600 payment upfront.

Do contestants have to pay to audition for American Idol?

The good news for wannabe contestants is that auditioning for American Idol is completely free.

You only need to show up, fill out the necessary paperwork, and then wait for someone to call your name.

Contestants audition with producers before they decide if you’re good enough, or in some cases amusing enough, to perform in front of the celebrity judges.

According to Fox Business, however, the actual costs begin if they accept you as a contestant.

This is because you must follow the show from state to state for further rounds of auditions – incurring expensive travel and hotel costs.

Richard Rushfield, the author of American Idol: The Untold Story, said: “What the TV audience doesn’t see is, if you’re from San Diego and you audition and make it through in St. Louis, then you have to return to St. Louis a month or two later for the next round, and then again for the third round.

“Some can’t afford to and drop out.”

How much do American Idol winners get in prize money?

The Blast reportedly obtained a contract signed by a 17-year-old contestant in 2019, revealing that the show’s winner gets a payout of around $250,000.

When the show crowns a winner, that winner is signed to Hollywood Records, and that’s when they get their first $125,000.

They then receive a further $125,000 after producing their first album.

Winners can also participate in summer tours with the show, earning them a hefty payout.

Previously, victors such as Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson reportedly made $13 million and $11.7 million, respectively.
