SH0CKING: Carrie Underwood TAKES LEGAL ACTION Against ‘The View’ Hosts

May be an image of 4 people and text that says '約 "YOUR F***ING MOUTH JUST GOT US SUED"'

In a shocking turn of events, country music superstar Carrie Underwood has filed a lawsuit against the hosts of The View, demanding that the show be shut down after what she describes as direct and personal insults made against her on-air. The singer, known for her chart-topping hits and wide-ranging influence in the entertainment industry, has accused the co-hosts of spreading false information about her, leading her to take legal action in what is being seen as one of the most controversial moves of her career.

The incident in question occurred during a recent live segment of The View, where Underwood was discussed in a manner she considers defamatory. According to court documents, Underwood claims that the hosts—who often tackle hot-button political and celebrity topics—made disparaging remarks about her career, her personal life, and her values, all without any factual basis. Underwood’s legal team argues that the segment was not only untrue but also calculated to humiliate her in front of a national audience.

“This is a show that lies to its viewers,” Underwood stated in a scathing public statement accompanying her lawsuit. “The hosts of The View have repeatedly used their platform to spread misinformation about me, and I can no longer sit idly by while they continue to tarnish my reputation.”

The lawsuit, which is already making waves in both the legal and entertainment worlds, outlines specific incidents where Underwood feels she was personally targeted by the hosts. She alleges that during a discussion about her recent political stance and charity work, several hosts misrepresented her actions, making unfounded claims about her involvement in controversial issues. The singer’s team also pointed to comments made regarding her family life, which they argue were both inaccurate and meant to provoke negative public sentiment.

Underwood’s legal complaint requests that The View immediately halt all broadcasts, accusing the show of being a “toxic platform for misinformation” that has consistently harmed her career and personal reputation. While such legal battles are rare in the world of daytime television, Underwood’s team argues that this case is different—because the hosts’ statements were made with “malicious intent” and a clear disregard for the truth.

The public response has been divided. Some fans and supporters of Underwood are praising her for standing up against what they perceive as unjust treatment by the media, applauding her for using her platform and resources to fight back. Others, however, have expressed concerns that the lawsuit might have unintended consequences, potentially leading to further public scrutiny or backlash from those who view it as an overreaction.

As expected, The View hosts have not remained silent on the matter. In an official statement released by ABC, the network has acknowledged the lawsuit but stopped short of commenting on the specifics. The hosts of The View, including Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar, have also weighed in on social media, with Goldberg defending the integrity of the show and claiming that the remarks made about Underwood were based on public knowledge and discussion.

The legal drama surrounding Underwood and The View is expected to unfold over the coming weeks. Industry experts are watching closely to see how the court handles the lawsuit, as it could set a significant precedent for how celebrity defamation cases are treated in the media landscape. For now, Underwood’s supporters are rallying behind her, while others remain skeptical of the long-term impact this legal battle will have on her career.

What happens next remains to be seen, but one thing is for certain: this lawsuit has added another layer of drama to the already heated world of daytime television. Fans of Carrie Underwood are eagerly awaiting updates as this legal battle unfolds, wondering if this will mark the end of The View‘s influence or the beginning of a new chapter in Underwood’s career. Stay tuned as the story develops!

Reporter Exposes Strange Unknown Fact About Hailey Van Lith’s Body During Live Press Conference & Forces Her To Awkwardly Respond

TCU star Hailey Van Lith is not too far away from being selected in the WNBA Draft.

She has been tearing up the floor in what will be her final year in college.

TCU and Van Lith have been re-writing history books all season long, but there is one thing you will not find out about Van Lith on a stat sheet.

Van Lith was asked Sunday about the length of her legs.

The reporter had previously heard something about it in the past and wondered if it was true.

According to Wesley Branch of USA TODAY, her left leg is half an inch shorter than her right.

“It’s true,” Hailey Van Lith said via NCAA transcripts.

“Yeah, that’s true. It’s a long story, you guys; I don’t share everything with you! It is, and it does — there’s a lot of physiological issues that I deal with because of it. My whole right side is stronger and bigger. My hand is bigger, my foot is bigger, my quad is bigger. You can see it if you really look at me if you’re around me a lot.”

The length of her legs impacts her game, as she explained. However, she has become used to it.

“I definitely always prefer to plant off my right leg,” Van Lith said. “I think fading to my left is more comfortable because the leg is shorter so it probably doesn’t really touch the ground as much. Just weird things like that, but, yes, that’s true, and I deal with it every day.”

Van Lith scored 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds to send TCU to a 71-62 victory over Notre Dame and into the first Elite Eight in program history.

In doing so, Van Lith set TCU’s single-season scoring record (663), and her 26 points were a single-game NCAA tournament record for the program.

This will be Van Lith’s fifth Elite Eight appearance with her third team.

It goes without saying, but Van Lith is the first player — in men’s and women’s basketball — to achieve that feat.

Her first three seasons were played at Louisville. She played in three Elite Eight games.

Last season, she shocked everyone by joining LSU and getting to the Elite Eight again.

The 5-foot-9 graduate student then made her way to TCU, and here she is again for the final time.

Unless this is your first day in America, then you know race relations in this country dominate just everything, and that includes NBA and NFL drafts

During the most recent NFL Draft in Detroit, social media was buzzing as athletes showed up to the red carpet event with their girlfriends and family. Many of the incoming NFL rookies were African-American and were spotted with white women, which has become the usual theme for years.

The same thing happens with the NBA Draft.

This year, the discourse on the NFL Draft and NBA Draft has gotten even louder as African-American women openly pondered why so many of the players never have a partner that is the same race as them.

One guy on TikTok decided to answer that question by revealing that the vast majority of his division-1 friends in college or headed to the league are dating or married to white women and explained why.

He stated that some of them had told him that their white girlfriend looked up to Taylor Swift while their girlfriend looked up to Megan The Stallion. He then states the guy asks how many white women he has seen doing the Megan Thee Stallion challenge as opposed to Black women.

He then dove into another story of a friend who relayed that his Black girlfriend started to request money from him as soon as she found out about his NIL money. She wanted her hair and nails done. He then added that the Black women would be upset if they went to places like Chipotle, and she demanded steak houses.

WNBA Fans Not Happy With Caitlin Clark's Fever Teammates - The Spun

Caitlin Clark’s new teammate is turning heads with her outfit in New York City.

The Indiana Fever made some big-time acquisitions this offseason. One of them was trading for Phoenix Suns guard Sophie Cunningham. The veteran WNBA guard spent the first part of her career in Phoenix, after starring collegiately at Missouri, before getting traded to the Fever.

The Fever ended up parting ways with NaLyssa Smith in a multi-team trade.

“Sophie is a player that we have targeted for a while, and one that we believe is a perfect fit for the style we want to play,” said Fever General Manager and COO Amber Cox. “She is a fierce competitor, works incredibly hard on both ends of the floor and is one of the best shooters in our league. We are excited to add her to our squad.”

“On behalf of the Fever, I’d also like to thank NaLyssa for her contributions over the last three seasons and wish her the best of luck in her next chapter.”

Cunningham, meanwhile, is currently going viral for her outfit in New York City.

Cunningham has a big-time following on social media and it’s one that is likely only going to increase now that she is playing alongside Caitlin Clark.

Indiana Fever coach Stephanie White shared her thoughts on the transformation of reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark.

A recent photo of Clark’s offseason transformation was included in an article released on Monday by MARCA, a Spanish daily newspaper. In the blurry image, Clark was at the annual NFL league meeting with tennis legend Serena Williams. Clark was wearing a red bodysuit that showed her toned arms.

On Feb. 18, White shared with The Athletic’s Richard Deitsch her thoughts about her superstar getting stronger in preparation for her sophomore season in the WNBA:

“She is stronger, first and foremost,” White said. “She figured out right away, ‘I need to get stronger, I can’t get knocked around as much.’ She’s done a great job in the weight room, working on balance, strength and control. The next step is efficiency – fewer turnovers, better shooting percentages.”

A fan account shared MARCA’s article on X:

“Her new arms mean she will not be knocked off the ball as easily as she was in her debut season, and it also means she can release the basketball even faster when she passes to a teammate, or goes for a snap 3-pointer.”

White took over the helm at Indiana on Nov. 1. She previously served as an assistant with the franchise from 2011 until 2014 and as head coach for the 2015 and 2016 seasons. She brought the Fever to the WNBA finals in her first season as coach.

After a stint at Vanderbilt and a short hiatus, she returned to the league in 2023 as coach of the Connecticut Sun, winning WNBA Coach of the Year. She parted ways with Connecticut following the 2024 season.

Caitlin Clark’s coach, Stephanie White, reveals issues they addressed this offseason that made them contenders

The Indiana Fever surrounded its star, Caitlin Clark, with firepower and experience this offseason.

Fever coach Stephanie White revealed to Mike Lindsley’s “Off the Charts” on Feb. 24 that the front office addressed a couple of glaring holes last season.

“We addressed some issues that we needed to address,” White said (Timestamp: 9:55). “Certainly, getting some veteran players who have championship experience and leadership experience that can plug some holes for us where we needed it.

“We got to surround our ‘Big Three,’ of Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston, and we got to surround them with great veteran players that compliment them. I think we’ve done that.

“The second thing and I thought this was going to take another year to be able to do, but we’ve really developed our quality depth. Oftentimes, if you’re trying to address two issues in free agency or two issues in an offseason, you only get one right.

“That was free agency and depth for us, and we are fortunate to be able to do both, so I think it puts us in a position to compete.”

The Fever added three-time WNBA champion Natasha Howard and two-time champion DeWanna Bonner to bolster their frontcourt and added veteran experience to the starting lineup.

The team also retooled its depth with the addition of two-time champion Sydney Colson and sharpshooter Sophie Cunningham. Other players joining the team are Brianna Turner and Jaelyn Brown.

All eyes will be on Caitlin Clark and Co. as they intend to compete for the championship in the upcoming WNBA season.

    In this story:

No WNBA team will have more nationally televised games in 2025 than the Indiana Fever.

It was announced last week that 41 of the Fever’s 44 regular-season games would be broadcast to a national audience. No other team in the league has more than 33 games in the national spotlight.

One of the newest members of the Fever, Sophie Cunningham, spoke with Sports Illustrated on Tuesday as part of a partnership with Quest Nutrition, and said that she’s not surprised about the high number of nationally televised games Indiana will play, but acknowledged the significance of being placed in the national spotlight.

“I’m not surprised by it. I think this is what all teams deserve, but for us to kind of be the first team to do that, I think it’s awesome. I think it’s a great way to expand the women’s game,” said Cunningham.

“It’s a great way to inspire the next generation of young athletes, of boys and girls, and I just think that the more people actually watch our games or come to a game, they fall in love with it. They fall in love with our style, they fall in love with who we are off the court, and it just grows the game for the better. And so, for us to be blessed with that platform, I think a lot of people see it as pressure. I see it as a great opportunity, and at the end of the day, we’re all just gonna go out there and play basketball like we have been since we were four years old.”

Not only are the Fever leading the charge in terms of WNBA games on national broadcasts, they’re also playing more nationally televised games than any NBA team has throughout the 2024-25 season.

Cunningham acknowledged that having so many eyes on the Fever could be a catalyst for some external pressure and outside noise, but she made clear that she’s hoping the team will try to focus on what it can control.

“I feel like if we can make sure our locker room is safe and that we’re all protecting one another and going out and playing good basketball, I think that’s a recipe for success,” she said.

The first of the Fever’s nationally broadcast games this year will be the team’s season-opener against the Chicago Sky on May 17.

The Auburn Tigers are headed to the next round.

The Auburn men’s basketball team knocked off Michigan State to reach the Final Four in March Madness.

Auburn will represent the South Region of the men’s NCAA Tournament bracket and compete in the Final Four against the No. 1 seeded Florida Gators, who took down Texas Tech 84-79 on Saturday.

On Friday, the Tigers earned a 78-65 victory over No. 5 seed Michigan.

Michigan State was coming off a 73-70 victory over Ole Miss, but could not stop Johni Broome, the SEC Player of the Year, who had 22 points and 16 rebounds in the matchup to lead Auburn.

While the men on the court may have been playing their hearts out, some fans couldn’t keep their eyes off the Auburn Tigers cheerleaders.

One picture surfaced online of the squad seated on the court:

    Fans reacted accordingly:

“yea im droppin a triple double off the bench,” one fan said of the cheerleaders.

“I’d piss down my leg and start barking probably,” another male fan added.

“I’d probably just start cranking hog on the court,” a third fan said of the Auburn Tigers cheerleaders who were seated on the court at the time.

Auburn defeated Alabama State in the opening round, Creighton in the second, and Michigan before they beat the Spartans on Sunday.

Auburn made its first and lone Final Four appearance in 2019. This will be their second appearance.

This is what the WNBA player said about the rising star who could dethrone Caitlin Clark

Cameron Brink talks about Paige Bueckers and her chance to achieve what Caitlin Clark never could

Beyond whether the WNBA is ready for Paige Bueckers, Paige Bueckers is ready to enter the league and make an immediate impact, just a year after witnessing Caitlin Clark’s breakout. Someone who experienced that phenomenon up close, like Cameron Brink, has spoken about the rising superstar and how her current performance in March Madness should be evaluated.

The Connecticut superstar just recorded her career-best numbers with 40 points during the Sweet 16, in a resounding 82-59 victory. And she’s getting closer and closer to the title game that Caitlin Clark couldn’t reach.

Cameron Brink on Paige Bueckers and her legacy

“Oh, I don’t think so … I think she’s definitely proven who she is. As a player, her accolades are unmatched … I just want her to end up in a good place after the season, and I’m always rooting for her. She’s a close friend of mine. Her, Azzi [Fudd] … I’ve played with them before in USA Basketball. So, I’m just rooting for them … I don’t think winning a championship should affect your legacy. I think it only adds to it, but I don’t think not winning one takes away from what you’ve done,” said Cameron Brink in an interview with For The Win.

Bueckers has already declared herself ready to enter the WNBA Draft, but first, she’ll go through the Elite Eight in pursuit of advancing further in March Madness.

The second-seeded Huskies (34-3), winners of 13 straight games, will face the winner of Saturday night’s game between Southern California and Kansas State in a regional final on Monday.

Bueckers led UConn to last year’s Final Four, where it lost to Caitlin Clark and Iowa. Now she’s aiming to win the title to head to the WNBA with honors.

JuJu Watkins breaks her silence with a heartfelt message after USC's devastating loss to UConn and Paige Bueckers

The USC Trojans women’s basketball team‘s March Madness dream came to an end after falling to the UConn Huskies in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. Superstar Juju Watkins didn’t play in the game, but she still reacted to her teammates’ loss.

Juju Watkins’ Reaction to USC’s Defeat

    Juju Watkins Message

USC lost 78-62, failing to advance to the Final Four, and couldn’t rely on Juju Watkins, who suffered a torn ACL during a second-round game on March 24. While her teammates fought to stay in the title race, it was tough for them to compete without their best player.

Juju chose to stay with the team after her injury instead of remaining in Los Angeles ahead of her surgery. She has also spoken to the media and remained highly engaged despite being sidelined for this crucial phase.

Watkins’ reaction came via an Instagram story where she reflected on her season and the support she received:

“Thank you for all the incredible love and support. Seeing all your messages and kind words has meant the world to me – y’all have given me so much hope.

Right now, my heart is with my teammates – I wish I could have been out there battling, but I couldn’t be prouder of that fight we’ve fought together.

    Thank you all,” Watkins wrote.

Her words offer a glimpse of hope and strength after a tough week for the young basketball star, whose absence loomed large in USC’s defeat. Watkins’ unwavering support for her squad and her grace under pressure continue to shine through, even in the face of adversity.

Paige Bueckers (31 points, 6 assists) and Sarah Strong (22 points, 17 rebounds) powered the UConn Huskies to victory with standout performances. For the USC Trojans, Rayah Marshall fought valiantly, leading her team with 23 points, but they struggled in the absence of Naismith National Player of the Year finalist JuJu Watkins, sidelined by a devastating ACL tear earlier in the tournament.
