The DeMar DeRozan sweepstakes now includes the Sacramento Kings and the San Antonio Spurs. The most recent information follows rumors that the Miami Heat cannot extend a competitive offer to the six-time NBA All-Star.

The Kings and Spurs, previously mentioned as competitors to sign Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen, have suddenly entered the discussion over DeRozan, even if the LA Lakers are still linked to him.

DeRozan played with the Spurs for three seasons before signing a sign-and-trade agreement with the Chicago Bulls. Including the forward in their lineup caused the Spurs to miss the playoffs twice and experience one first-round elimination. In his three seasons with the Bulls, DeRozan has just once advanced to the postseason.

Barry Jackson posted, “Kings have talked to the Bulls about DeRozan sign and trade, per source. Spurs are also now another possibility. Despite DeRozan interest in Miami, the Heat is not in a position to give him what he’s seeking at this time… Heat will hope the opportunity on some player it wants arises this summer.”

The most recent information follows rumors that DeRozan’s camp will decide within a day. Now that it appears the Miami Heat will withdraw from the competition, three clubs are in the running, barring a team that signs Markkanen

Sharpe wants Stephen A. Smith to “let it go” when it comes to the feud.

During Wednesday’s installment of his “Night Cap” podcast, Sharpe encouraged his First Take co-host to move on after making the matter with James “personal.”

This comes weeks after the Lakers superstar confronted the “First Take” host over comments he made about his son, Bronny James, on ESPN in January.

“I wish Stephen A. would’ve just left it alone. Once he addressed it, once it happened — address it, ‘This is what happened, he came over to me, said what he said, I’m gonna address it,’ and be done with it,” Sharpe said.

“Because, as my grandma used to say, ‘Stirring up old-ish, it still smells.’ So, every time Stephen A. talks about it, it stirs it up again.

LeBron James, the most powerful basketball player on the planet, and Stephen A. Smith, the most powerful basketball commentator on the planet, have been feuding for seemingly the entire month of March.

Ahead of the Lakers’ matchup with the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night, James had a very long conversation with Pat McAfee on his show.

“He’s like on a Taylor Swift tour run right now. It started off with, ‘I didn’t want to address it. I wasn’t going to address it. But since the video came out, I feel the need to address it.’ Are you kidding me? If there’s one person that couldn’t wait for the video to drop so you can address it, it’s your ass.”

“He completely missed the whole point, the whole point. Never would I ever not allow people to talk about the sport and criticize players about what they do on the court. That is your job. To criticize, or to, you know, be in a position where if a guy is not performing, that is all part of the game. But when you take it, and you get personal with it, it’s my job to not only protect my damn household but protect the players.”

James was not pleased with the manner in which Smith had been talking about Bronny.

During the most recent NFL Draft in Detroit, social media was buzzing as athletes showed up to the red carpet event with their girlfriends and family. Many of the incoming NFL rookies were African-American and were spotted with white women, which has become the usual theme for years.

This year, the discourse on the NFL Draft and NBA Draft has gotten even louder as African-American women openly pondered why so many of the players never have a partner that is the same race as them.

 

 

One guy on TikTok decided to answer that question by revealing that the vast majority of his division-1 friends in college or headed to the league are dating or married to white women and explained why.

He stated that some of them had told him that their white girlfriend looked up to Taylor Swift while their girlfriend looked up to Megan The Stallion. He then states the guy asks how many white women he has seen doing the Megan Thee Stallion challenge as opposed to Black women.

He then dove into another story of a friend who relayed that his Black girlfriend started to request money from him as soon as she found out about his NIL money. She wanted her hair and nails done. He then added that the Black women would be upset if they went to places like Chipotle, and she demanded steak houses.

Stephen A. Smith has finally addressed the recently leaked audio of ESPN producer Ryan Bertrand slamming him as an “crazy” analyst.

Last week, Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe obtained a leaked tape from an anonymous source on Bertrand ripping Stephen A. Smith. In the video, Bertrand can be heard calling him an “angry black man…crazy,” and “paid “to create controversy.”

Bertrand also questioned why the 57-year-old personality can go on Fox News to talk about Gaza when he was “just talking about the Lakers three hours ago.” You can hear the clip below:

After the tape was leaked, folks noticed that Bertrand made his X/Twitter account private and deleted his LinkedIn profile. It is unclear at this time if ESPN is investigating the matter and/or if Bertrand may be reprimanded by the company.

Stephen A. Smith addressed the controversy for the first time during his appearance on Robert Griffin III’s “Outta Pocket” show. Smith said that he’s never actually met Bertrand, and he’s not the least bit worried about what the producer said:

“It made me laugh. I don’t give a damn about what that person said. First of all, I never met him, he’s never worked with me, I don’t know him, and I don’t know why he would say the things that he says. I don’t want to sound wrong about this, but he’s a production assistant. I mean, that’s the kind of stuff that people do on an entry level position in this business. And there’s a lot of work, a lot of hardships, a lot of things that they got to go through in climbing that ladder.

“Well, no disrespect, but at ESPN, I’m at the top of the heap. I’ve been in this business for 30 years; you think I’m gonna worry about what some new beginner is sitting there chirping about? The leaked audio of Bertrand comes a month after it was reported that ESPN put executive editor Cristina Daglas on leave in January following multiple HR complaints. Specifics of the complaints remain unclear.

Fans Have Waited A Long Time For Grand Theft Auto To Release New Game

After more than a decade of waiting, Grand Theft Auto VI is supposedly finally set to come out in 2025.

Despite their hopes for a release this year fading, the community remains engaged in hopes that a second trailer will be released in early 2025 and a release date of the actual game will come out.

After months of grueling treatment, doctors declared Isabella cancer-free in July 2024. She will show seven distinct looks in the campaign, which Kenneth Cole’s daughter, Emily, designed to highlight strong, inspiring voices- making Isabella a perfect fit.

The campaign is more than just a modeling opportunity for Isabella. It represents a milestone in her recovery and a platform for advocacy. Speaking to PEOPLE, she shared her excitement about the experience. “Being on set for this campaign was amazing. I had the best time meeting everyone, and I was so comfortable. I went in the day before shooting the campaign for a fitting, and I was greeted with such kindness.”

Kenneth Cole himself has described Isabella as an “advocate for hope,” a title she has fully embraced. Throughout her battle with cancer, she documented her journey on YouTube, using her platform to encourage others to trust their instincts and advocate for their health. Isabella told Good Morning America, “I should have known something was wrong earlier, It’s always important to trust yourself and trust your body.”

Isabella’s modeling debut comes as she returns to her studies at the University of Southern California, having put her freshman year on hold due to her diagnosis. Meanwhile, her father, FOX analyst and Pro Football Hall of Famer Michael Strahan, remains her biggest supporter. “There will never be a time when she gets a scan where I won’t be on pins and needles,” he told GMA. Her collection, “Isabella’s Picks,” is now available online and in Kenneth Cole stores, marking a new chapter in her inspiring journey.

During the most recent NFL Draft in Detroit, social media was buzzing as athletes showed up to the red carpet event with their girlfriends and family. Many of the incoming NFL rookies were African-American and were spotted with white women, which has become the usual theme for years.

The same thing happens with the NBA Draft.

This year, the discourse on the NFL Draft and NBA Draft has gotten even louder as African-American women openly pondered why so many of the players never have a partner that is the same race as them.

 

 

One guy on TikTok decided to answer that question by revealing that the vast majority of his division-1 friends in college or headed to the league are dating or married to white women and explained why.

He stated that some of them had told him that their white girlfriend looked up to Taylor Swift while their girlfriend looked up to Megan The Stallion. He then states the guy asks how many white women he has seen doing the Megan Thee Stallion challenge as opposed to Black women.

He then dove into another story of a friend who relayed that his Black girlfriend started to request money from him as soon as she found out about his NIL money. She wanted her hair and nails done. He then added that the Black women would be upset if they went to places like Chipotle, and she demanded steak houses.
