Tracy Morgan Has Endured Numerous Health Scares

In June 2014, Tracy Morgan was involved in a horrific six-vehicle accident that tragically claimed the life of his friend and fellow comedian, James McNair. A Walmart tractor-trailer crashed into the limousine carrying Morgan, McNair and their friends.

Morgan suffered a traumatic brain injury in the accident, as well as a broken leg, femur and nose. The driver of the tractor-trailer, Kevin Roper, accepted a plea deal that allowed him to avoid jail time. Roper was sentenced to 300 hours of community service.

In late 2010, Morgan also underwent a kidney transplant that was needed due to his battle with Diabetes. Morgan received the donated kidney from his ex-girlfriend, Tanisha Hall.

FOX News star Kennedy Montgomery has shared a sweet message to Gutfeld! co-host Kat Timpf as she fills her spot on the late night show.

Montgomery is replacing Timpf, 36, in her role on Fox News for the week while the comedian faces treatment for her recently diagnosed breast cancer.

On February 25, Timpf announced she had been diagnosed with stage zero breast cancer just 15 hours before going into labor with her first son with her husband  Cameron Friscia.

Two days later, Greg Gutfeld announced that Timpf would be taking time to treat her cancer and have it removed in surgery during her maternity leave from the network.

Montgomery, 52, is taking Timpf’s spot on Gutfeld’s comedy show panel all week – and shared a sweet video message to the new mom on social media.

“We are going to channel her goodness and her glasses and we will sprinkle the studio with absolute love and affection,” Montgomery said in a video posted to X

She jokingly added, “You’re going to want to pay for it, but I only take cash.”

Timpf responded to the homage with hearts in a post on X.

It comes after Montgomery, a co-host on Outnumbered and The Five, previously called Timpf a “hero” in response to news of her diagnosis.

“You are amazing in every way,” Montgomery told Timpf.

“And you were heroic in labor given the day you’d just had! I love you.”

It’s unclear who will fill Timpf’s spot on Gutfeld! after this week.

The comedian said doctors advised she get a double mastectomy as soon as possible.

Last week, I welcomed my first child into the world. About fifteen hours before I went into labor, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Now, before you worry, my doctor says it’s Stage 0 and is confident that it almost certainly hasn’t spread.  Or, as I’ve explained to the few people I’ve managed to tell about it so far: Don’t freak out. It’s just, like, a LITTLE bit of cancer. 

Still, it was not a chill day. I mean, to say the least! I woke up more-than-a-week-past-due pregnant, completely consumed by doing everything I could to get the baby out. By the middle of the afternoon, I was waddling around from appointment to appointment, talking about how to get my cancer out. I sat and listened as they told me that the best course of action would likely be a double mastectomy as soon as possible. I asked all the questions I could, including if I could get a copy of my tumor ultrasound to put on the fridge next to the ultrasound of my baby. Finally, by the middle of the night, I was crawling around on the floor of my apartment in spontaneous labor, before heading to the hospital to meet my baby, whom I’d learn at the time of birth was a son.

The good news? People who work at hospitals make excellent audiences for dark humor — and, as someone whose first book was about the power of jokes to get through traumatic situations, there was really no better place for me to be. Just minutes after my boy was born, I was talking with the nurses about what a birth announcement in my situation might look like.

Should I go with “Mom and baby are doing well, except maybe for mom’s cancer, and then maybe the baby after breastfeeding is stunted by her double mastectomy,” and then shut off my phone for a week?

Anyway! These next three months of maternity leave are going to look a lot different than I’d anticipated, and I’m still getting used to my new reality. Still, as I navigate new motherhood (and new cancer) I’m learning to celebrate everything I can. I’m lucky that we found the cancer so early; I’m lucky to be my son’s mom. I mean, I know I’m biased, but the little dude absolutely rules — and not just because he might have saved my life.

Thank you all for your support, laughter, and love as I embrace this wildly unexpected chapter. Here’s to resilience, to miracles in the midst of chaos, and to finding humor and hope even on the toughest days.

She added that after giving birth, she was grateful for the healthy baby boy that “might have saved my life.”

The political commentator recently clapped back at nosy fans who gave her unwanted medical opinions and told them she trusted her doctors to give her the best advice.

“I find it devastating, but I am very grateful to have access to the opinions of many brilliant minds when it comes to breast cancer,” she said about potentially getting a double mastectomy.

“I have been very lucky to have a team that is very knowledgeable on this and the focus of all these conversations is what’s the best thing to do to keep me alive so I’m around for my son for a long time.

The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal American Idol brought in 4,510,000 viewers for the March 16 episode.

The Voice beat out the rival singing competition with 5,237,000 viewers for the March 17 episode.

The March 9 episode of American Idol, which was the premiere, had 4,494,000 viewers.

The March 10 episode of The Voice had a whopping 5,470,000 fans tune in.

On March 2, Idol aired a preview to introduce the new judging panel, as 5,905,000 viewers tuned in after the Academy Awards aired.

This was the only time American Idol beat out The Voice, as the NBC show came in close with 5,646,000 viewers.

The Voice’s February 3rd premiere also beat American Idol’s with 5,684,000 viewers.

Adam Levine, John Legend, Kelsea Ballerini and Michael Buble are the coaches for this season of The Voice.

Adam returned to the show after a six-year hiatus, as viewers vowed to watch the fan-favorite.

The crushing loss came as a big surprise to a lot of viewers after Alex had four consecutive runaway games that led to a staggering $102,400 prize total.

Going into his fifth competition, fans assumed Alex would continue with his dominating performance however, there was a noticeable difference in how he played his more successful games.

The inventory specialist from Brooklyn, New York went up against Cameron Berry, a data analyst and college administrator from Brighton, Massachusetts and Hillary Hess, an export policy analyst from Arlington, Virginia on Thursday.

Alex was not buzzing in often, a noticeable change from getting over 75% of the questions right in previous games.

This led to him remaining in third all of the game – and resulted in Alex ultimately coming in second place to Cameron – who dominated the categories and won with over $24,000.

According to an insider present at the taping, Cameron opened up about the “lucky” production schedule most likely helping him snag his first win.

The game that Alex lost was the fifth consecutive one he played in a single day – as Jeopardy! always tapes five episodes per day.

Due to the way it rolled out, Alex played the first game of the day in the early morning – and his winning streak did not end until the final one much later in the evening.

Meanwhile, Cameron got to hang out backstage all day as he didn’t play his first game until the fifth and final one taped that day.

In addition to getting to rest and fuel up, Cameron was also able to study how Alex played – something he admitted came to his advantage.

Speaking after the game, Cameron admitted that the filming schedule was a big reason for why he beat Alex.

“All day, I was studying Alex’s buzzer pace,” he told host Ken Jennings.

Alex, who was quick to the buzzer in his previous games, was noticeably frustrated with himself – often seen shaking his head in disappointment and clenching his fist when Cameron beat him to it.

Going into Thursday’s Final Jeopardy!, Cameron had accumulated $28,600 to keep his lead.

Hillary was in second place with $7,500 and Alex had to play from behind with $4,000.

“Named for a 1775 battle, this city contains the graves of John Breckenridge and Henry Clay,” the host read when the show cut back from a commercial break.

Only Alex was correct, writing: “What is Lexington, Kentucky?” – doubling his score to $8,000.

Unfortunately for the returning champ, the sum was not enough to overtake the lead.

Art Fleming – 1964 to 1975, he was the original host of the daytime version of Jeopardy! on NBC.

Alex Trebek – 1984 to 2020, the late, great Alex hosted Jeopardy!’s modern iteration for 36 years until his death from pancreatic cancer.

Guest hosts – 2020 to 2021, Jeopardy! tested out a series of guest hosts for week or two-week stints, including Anderson Cooper, LaVar Burton, and Aaron Rodgers.

Mike Richards – 2021, he was named host for one week before resigning amid controversy. He was the show’s executive producer at the time.

Mayim Bialik – 2021 to 2023, when Mike was announced as the show’s new host, Mayim was chosen to host tournaments and primetime specials.

Mayim and Ken Jennings – 2022 to 2023, 74-time champion Ken (the longest-winning contestant ever) joined Mayim as a guest host and they split hosting duties.

Ken Jennings – 2023 to present. Last December, Mayim announced on Instagram that she would “no longer” host Jeopardy! after a lengthy hiatus, having stood with the writer’s strike, and Ken was named sole host.

Ken now helms all editions of Jeopardy! including Celebrity Jeopardy!, the nightly show, and other primetime specials like Masters.

Cameron ended the game on top with $24,600 while Hillary wagered it all and dropped to zero after missing the last clue.

Fans also pointed out how all four of Alex’s prior games were filmed on the same day – with some saying the show’s taping schedule impacted how he performed.

“Fatigue strikes again,” a fan insisted while someone else added: “That was all one filming day for Alex. Stamina definitely plays a role.”

“Wow you can see the energy leave Alex’s body the more into the game. 5 games a day must be tough,” another wrote.

“Alex would’ve played a lot better if he wasn’t on his 5th in a row,” someone else predicted.
