Fans Have Waited A Long Time For Grand Theft Auto To Release New Game

In April 2022, WWE lifted the ban that was imposed on their wrestlers from earning money using third-party platforms such as Twitch and Cameo. Prior to that, the stars had to hand over ownership of their accounts. The wrestlers would receive only a portion of the income generated from the platforms. But after the lifting of the ban, all the income the superstars earned through the platform became entirely theirs to keep.

Now, with little to no restrictions set in place, wrestlers have taken to streaming and other non-WWE appearances as a secondary source of income. While most stick to just streaming, some have also veered towards posting adult content. So here are some of the top WWE wrestlers who turned to OnlyFans as an extra source of income.

1. Zelina Vega

Zelina Vega launched her OnlyFans in October 2020. She went by the name “Megan Minx” on the platform. Her monthly subscription cost was $30. For that amount, fans could interact directly with her. It also featured exclusive videos and photos of her in cosplays, lingerie, and swimsuits.

She strictly mentioned in her bio that no nude pictures would be given out. She was the first WWE performer to be fired for going against the company’s policy. She later joined the WWE in July 2021 and has been with the company ever since.

Vega was also one of the many wrestlers who were staunchly against WWE’s old policy of preventing their wrestlers from using third-party apps. Especially since Vega was also using Twitch to stream to her fans.

2. Mandy Rose

Mandy Rose was with the WWE when her adult photos from her FanTime page got leaked online. WWE then went on to release Rose on December 14, 2022. This was just a day after she lost her NXT Women’s Championship.

At the time of the release, Rose said she was “hurt” by the company’s decision. Post that, Rose went on to make her OnlyFans page. Her ID on OnlyFans is @mandy_rosefree and her bio reads, “Hi my name is Mandy. This is my free page and I post here daily. I am a cam girl on mfc and cb daily and content creator. I am a very friendly, fun, and caring person. Hope you enjoy.😉❤”.

Since her release, she has been making more money off OnlyFans than she actually did as a WWE wrestler. She even said that she is happier personally and mentally and gets more time to spend with her family. While the reason behind Rose’s firing wasn’t clear, a major part of the decision is rumored to have been based on the content that she had posted on her FanTime page. This isn’t too surprising, especially as WWE has moved towards a more PG audience over time.

3. Chelsea Green

Chelsea Green made her main roster debut on SmackDown in November 2020. But right in her first match, she ended up breaking her wrist, the second time she had done so at the promotion. This put her out of action for months. Then finally, in April 2021, WWE released Green from her contract due to budget cuts.

As a result, Green decided to open an OnlyFans account while competing as part of Ring of Honor (ROH). Back then, she was more focused on her adult content.

Later in 2023, she was offered another contract to rejoin the WWE. But the only condition was that she had to give up her OnlyFans account. Ever since, her OnlyFans account is not active anymore. But the content still remains uploaded, and she charges five dollars per month. Meanwhile, Green is slowly making a name for herself during her second stint at the promotion. So far, she is one-half of the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, alongside Scottish wrestler Piper Niven.

4. Scarlett Bordeaux

Scarlett Bordeaux joined the WWE in 2019 but was released in November 2021 as part of the COVID-19 budget cuts. After that, she started her OnlyFans account and was quite successful. So much so that Bordeaux was in the top 0.04% of content creators on OnlyFans.

She charged a monthly subscription fee of $20 a month to access her exclusive photo and video content. Bordeaux also charged $100 for a ‘kiss card’, a card she personally kissed and signed. She was later signed back to the WWE in August 2022 and as a result had to shut down her account due to company policy.

Currently, the blonde bombshell can often be seen alongside her real-life boyfriend and fellow wrestler Karrion Kross. In fact, her return to WWE in August saw her attack Drew McIntyre alongside Kross on an episode of SmackDown.

5. Toni Storm

Storm joined the WWE in 2017 as part of the NXT brand. She even won the NXT UK Women’s Championship during her stint with the promotion. She made her SmackDown debut in July 2021. But in December of the same year, she asked for her release from the Stamford-based promotion as she “didn’t feel that appreciated”. 

Post that, she started her OnlyFans account in March, which remains active till today. Her handle on the site is @realtonistorm. She charges $19 as the monthly subscription fee for her content. So far, Storm has been fairly successful on the platform, where she revealed that she made $33,000 on the first weekend of her joining OnlyFans.

However, continuing her wrestling career, Storm joined AEW in March 2022 and is still with Tony Khan’s brand under the ring name “Timeless” Toni Storm. She also made her debut at New Japan Pro-Wrestling in May this year.

From Mandy Rose to Toni Storm to Zelina Vega, it seems the stars have found different ways to suit their needs. While Rose decided to quit wrestling altogether in favor of spending more time with her family, others sacrificed a potential career on the platform to pursue wrestling. However, while most had a rocky start, it seems that for now, all of them seem content with their decisions.

It is a form of mental illness that forces one to constantly find flaws in one’s physical appearance. This was also the reason that she decided to have a bigger chest at the age of 20.

However, it proved to be futile as Flair kept on receiving hate online. “Online, I’ve gotten so much criticism over the years Charlotte’s built like a man, Charlotte looks like an iPhone, she has no a** like constant every day,” she said.

Apart from their physical appearance, fans have also questioned her privilege in the WWE, which was also contested by her earlier. While it’s not bad to engage in the occasional banter and rectify mistakes, fans must also realize that these pro wrestlers are also human beings. Therefore, comments shouldn’t be bereft of decency.

She also extended thanks to her locker room mates for constantly lifting her spirit before stepping up to the ring and also gave a huge shout-out to Nick Khan and Triple H for allowing her to find her footing in the business.

However, when it comes to the real backbone of the superstars, the fans, Cargill asked them to keep holding their faith in her like they do, as she and Belair are constantly trying to rack the title back on their shoulders. So they need more patience and focus from the fans in the division to deliver their best. It will be interesting to see how Cargill will do on her tag team ride, despite not being accustomed to the genre.

On the latest episode of Fightful’s The Hump, Sean Ross Sapp said he’s heard from many women in WWE who are frustrated with the current booking of their division. This includes rejecting creative ideas for WrestleMania.

“Yes, I have spoken with plenty of women in WWE who are frustrated about the booking of the women. This is not a new thing. It’s nowhere near Royal Rumble 2022 level…Royal Rumble 2022 was so bad that I developed sources because of how bad it was booked. This is nowhere near that.

But, there has been a situation where a women’s WWE performer has reached out to me and said, ‘Dude, can you find out if I’m listed internally as a heel or a babyface?’ And I’m like, ‘Damn, okay.’

I know there have been some [WrestleMania] pitches that have been rejected because people are like, token tag matches aren’t something that they want to do.

They want things put on a more even plane in the women’s division. They want, okay well, the contracts are going up, the viewership is adjusted accordingly for when women are on screen. It’s not the side show or anything like that. It a part of the show. You’re adding more titles, add more matches, all that stuff.”

“…There’s not that element of where, a lot of the men not only have one thing going on, they got a lot of different things going on. And that’s just not the way that it’s been for the women. And I don’t know if that’s a Triple H thing or what.”

WWE’s booking of its women’s division was under scrutiny last week when new women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria and United States Champion Chelsea Green both lost clean in Elimination Chamber qualifying matches. That’s the kind of bad booking that tells the entire division this new shiny cool thing they have doesn’t really matter all that much.

I don’t expect there will be any big names walking out of WWE like in 2022 when Vince McMahon was ruining things. However, the current unequal booking between the men and women’s division does stand out, particularly when compared to the way things are done in NXT.

Is there enough mounting frustration backstage for Triple H’s team to change its approach, or will these concerns be dismissed as much ado about nothing? WWE business is booming these days, so my best guess is the higher ups don’t think this is an important problem that requires a better solution.

Sonya was in the middle of negotiating a new deal with WWE when she got the bad news.

 

WWE’s latest round of roster cuts took place earlier this month. That’s when we found out that WWE wasn’t renewing Sonya Deville’s contract.

Deville (real name Daria Berenato) uploaded a video to her YouTube channel today where she discussed the situation with her wife Toni.

Deville said she was actually in the middle of negotiating a new deal with WWE when they called her with the bad news, so she was shocked by the phone call. However, she was quickly at peace with the decision and is already looking forward to her next adventure.

Sonya reiterates that she has nothing bad to say about her 10 years in WWE and loved everyone that she worked with. She can’t explain why WWE decided not to renew her contract, but she’s looking at it like you can’t fight fate, and that chapter of her life was meant to close. She’s already auditioning for her next projects.

A women’s match seems to have been cut since Dwayne Johnson was announced, and we have a rumor about what Rock will do on the Feb. 21 show in New Orleans.

Even if his announcement has nothing to do with wrestling at WrestleMania 41, it seems like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s return to WWE television tonight (Feb. 21) on SmackDown may keep the pro wrestling rumor mill busy until April’s event is Las Vegas.

We’re already getting several reports about The Rock’s appearance, which Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s Dave Meltzer says “was a last-minute add” to tonight’s show. Meltzer is one of many speculating that the fact SmackDown is in New Orleans could mean Johnson will make the rumored announcement that next year’s ‘Mania will return to the Big Easy.

The women’s match is nowhere to be found, and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis’ announcement of Morgan vs. Naomi and the six-man, and an Instagram post promoting the women’s bout, have been deleted.

If WWE does end up removing those two matches, (a) it might indicate Rock will be doing more than just revealing the WrestleMania 42 news — like setting up a possible WrestleMania 41 match for himself, and (b) it’s already kicked the debate about Triple H’s booking of the main roster women’s scene into a higher gear. Even before yesterday’s report about unhappiness in the locker room, some fans were asking why the ladies don’t get more of the approximately five-and-a-half hours of main roster TV time each week; bumping Liv and Naomi for an open-ended Rock segment will only draw more, and result in existing ones being asked louder.

We’ll see what ends up making, and being said, on the show in a few hours.
