Alexa Bliss’ return at the 2025 Royal Rumble received the biggest pop of the night and she is now a SmackDown Superstar. But it seems she has her eyes on Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley. Just a little over a week before the 2025 Elimination Chamber, she broke her silence.
As you know, the last time that Bliss was in WWE was in the 2023 Royal Rumble, when she lost to Bianca Belair. She made a triumphant return and although she didn’t win the Rumble, she’s in a prime spot to secure one of the main women’s title matches at WrestleMania 41.

The desperation was the same, and at Elimination Chamber, she intends to show the women in WWE that it’s her division. By stating that she’s in charge, she answered a question seemingly posed by The Wyatt Sicks last week on SmackDown, when jumbled words read, “Do you feel in charge?”
Alexa Bliss is unfortunately not be expected to win the Elimination Chamber, but it’s going to be a boost to have her presence regardless. In the last few days, rumors emerged that the women in WWE were not happy about their booking heading into WrestleMania 41.

Two WWE stars felt that it was time that Bianca Belair and Naomi were removed from the Elimination Chamber match next week. They also gave the reason for their demands.
However, Chelsea Green and Piper Niven’s demands went unanswered.
Tonight, Naomi was supposed to face Liv Morgan in a singles match in a continuation of their feud over Jade Cargill being attacked backstage. After Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez were spotted in a previously undisclosed video, walking away from Cargill’s ambulance, they came under suspicion for the assault. Bianca Belair and Naomi seemed sure they were the ones responsible, and have since attacked them, trying to make it clear that they were out for revenge.
It seemed that they were about to do the same tonight, but when they were on their way to the ring, they were ambushed and attacked from behind. They were both beaten down and left hurt on the mat until security had to get involved and take them away from the two stars.
Chelsea Green and Piper Niven then confronted Nick Aldis backstage and said that since Bianca Belair and Naomi were injured, they were ready to take their place. But Aldis was not having it. He revealed that both stars were hurt but had not suffered any injuries.
He turned down their offer and said they’d get a tag team match next week but not be in the Chamber.

It featured Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry up against New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu, two of the best shooters in their respective leagues.
Ionescu nearly topped Curry in the matchup as she was shooting from the NBA 3-point line, which is about 12 to 18 inches farther from the WNBA line depending on the area of the floor.
The commentary during the matchup was something that caught the eye of viewers as fans became upset with TNT broadcaster Kenny Smith and his suggestion after Curry had only beaten Ionescu by three points.
“She should have shot it from the women’s line,” the former Houston Rockets guard said. “That would have been a fair contest. I still support Sabrina. But she should have shot it from at the women shoot from.”
“She should have shot from the line. There is a women’s tee in golf and there is a men’s tee for a reason,” he added.
Smith said he wanted Ionescu to shoot from where she shoots from in the WNBA.

Ionescu didn’t want to shoot from the women’s 3-point line of 20 feet, 6 inches. Instead, she leveled the playing field and shot from the NBA line of 23 feet, 9 inches.
She only lost by three. Ionescu made every shot from the first rack, ending with 26 points.
Ionescu set a record for both leagues with a whopping 37-point round in the 3-point contest during last summer’s WNBA All-Star Weekend.

Victor Wembanyama won’t play another game during the 2024-2025 NBA season.
Wembanyama will miss the final 30 games of the regular season after a blood clot was located in his right shoulder.
The San Antonio Spurs star has deep vein thrombosis in his right shoulder, the team announced this week.
Spurs interim head coach Mitch Johnson told reporters that, “There is no concern for Victor’s health personally (long term) or his basketball activities.”
In the aftermath of the devastating news, prominent sports doctor Dr. Jesse Morse gave his take on the situation.
The certified sports medicine physician fueled speculation about Victor Wembanyama’s situation by suggesting that the vaccine had something to do with his blood clots.
“That’s a blood clot…,” Dr. Morse wrote on X. “How much you want to make a bet he received the COVID vaccine?”
The Spurs said the condition Wembanyama suffers from was discovered after participating in the NBA All-Star Weekend.
He “had been experiencing low energy in recent weeks,” according to Sam Amick of The Athletic.
ESPN’s Tim MacMahon would further add that the Spurs “are optimistic” that Wembanyama “will make a full recovery by the beginning of next season.”
