BBC Breakfast icon Sally Nugent left fans speechless as she showed off her latest winter ensemble in an Instagram video before giving the camera a cheeky wink. The 54-year-old journalist wore a stunning cream jumper dotted with holly and ivy patterns, plus dark grey embroidery around the neckline. The short-sleeved knitwear piece looked incredible with a pair of dark blue jeans and gem earrings glittering at her lobes.

Sally added a small poppy brooch to her collar in honour of Remembrance Day and let her brunette hair fall in loose waves around her shoulders, adding a gold chain bracelet around one wrist as she got to work baking brownies in her kitchen. She went barefoot in her glam home and gave her adorable pooch Sadie a cuddle.

While making herself a coffee, she had Sabrina Carpenter’s hit Espresso playing in the background.

The BBC star treated her work colleagues to a sample of her baking, writing in her Instagram caption: “I do love a brownie. New recipe here – going to try them out on the @bbcbreakfast night team. They’ve definitely earned them!”

Nina Warhurst, John Watson and Sally’s co-host Jon Kay were all wanting to get in on the action, while Morning Live host Gethin Jones replied to the post with an amazed emoji.

Sally’s cropped jumper costs £49.99 from Zara, but there are a few lookalikes you could treat yourself to if that’s too steep. A similar piece dotted with tulips and hearts is on sale at Asos for £27 – nearly half the price.

Joanie is also offering stunning patterned knitwear in the style of its Clare Fair Isle scalloped knit top, priced at £59.

And anyone wanting a long-sleeved version of Sally’s jumper should head to Boden for a holly and ivy Edie Fair Isle jumper, priced at £99.

Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex Attends Invictus Engagements In London

A news report on Good Morning Britain sparked outrage among fans as it announced the latest moves from the royal family. Chris Ship, the ITV show’s royal editor, told viewers that Prince William will deliver a keynote speech today at the United for Wildlife Summit as he continues his trip to Brazil.

However, it came as his brother Prince Harry revealed that he will travel to Canada for a series of Remembrance Day events this week. Chris pointed out that Harry’s visits “happen to coincide with his brother’s engagements”. Referring to Andrew Mountbatten Windsor being stripped of his titles, Chris, who was in Rio de Janerio, said: “You couldn’t get more of a distance between events from home and events here. And because Buckingham Palace dealt with Andrew so forcefully last week, there wasn’t really any danger of it encroaching on the visit here, now.

    Chris Ship

“That said, if anyone did slightly interrupt proceedings, it was his brother Harry. He chose yesterday to make an announcement that he’s doing a visit in Canada this week, which will coincide with Prince William’s Earthshot Award Ceremony, which is happening here tomorrow evening.”

However, Chris shared that it was William who seemed to have the backing of Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, as he too would be in attendance with him.

Fans at home were left fuming over the report as the ITV show seemed to be pitting the brothers against each other. Taking to X/Twitter, one viewer wrote: “Talk about stirring two brothers can do different things at the same time. Not everything has to be a competition.”

Another said: “Who cares what William and Harry does? Do we need a referendum about the future of the monarchy?”

And a third added: “NOBODY CARES ABOUT THE ROYALS, why aren’t you running a story about how the FBI want to speak Andrew Windsor about a list that apparently doesn’t exist?”

“Headlines for William just take away the Headlines for Andrew. Desperation at its best,” someone else added.

THE CHASE CHAOS: Show Interrupted as Player Makes Emotional Plea to Bradley Walsh

    The Chase

The Chase was interrupted by one player who had an important question for Bradley Walsh. Wednesday’s (November 5) edition of the popular quiz show featured four new contestants, who were pitted against Darragh Ennis. First up to face The Menace was Sumitra, who nailed three questions in the cash builder. Her strong start gave the team the boost they needed and secured her the first spot in the final chase.

Next up was Sonny, a 19-year-old media production student. Before diving into the game, he had a brief chat with Bradley Walsh, sharing his passion for music production, which he pursues alongside his studies, as well as his love of singing. Asked which is his favourite song to perform, Sonny admitted it is Fly Me to the Moon by Count Basie and Frank Sinatra.

    Bradley Walsh

“That’s an interesting thing, that you like that sort of great American songbook type stuff,” Bradley said.

Sonny explained that his “diverse taste” in music comes from his parents and grandparents.

At that moment, he paused the game to ask Bradley to send a hello to his grandma, Betty, who he described as the presenter’s “biggest fan.”

Sonny quipped: “On the topic of family, I’ve got a question for you. Can you say hello to my great-grandma? She’s your biggest fan. She’s 101. She lives in Wythenshawe in Manchester and she’ll be watching the show.”

Bradley happily obliged, turning to the camera to say, “Betty, hello darling. I wish you all the very best over there Wythenshawe and I wish you lots of love.

“I hope you enjoy the show. Whatever you do for your next birthday, 102nd birthday, Betty, don’t let anyone give you the bumps. It will take too long.”

Sonny had high hopes going into his cash builder, revealing his dream of buying a property in Barcelona. Unfortunately, luck wasn’t on his side, and he was caught by the chaser.

The same thing happened with Tom, and Laura, who also failed to outrun Darragh. This left Sumitra on her own in the final chase. Despite playing solo, the 61-year-old ended on a respectable score of 13.

She was praised by both Bradley and Darragh for her performance. Sadly, it wasn’t enough and she was caught with 37 left on the clock.

BBC Breakfast was halted for heartbreaking news on Tuesday (November 4) as a guest admitted, “I don’t want to di3”.

During today’s edition of the hit morning programme, hosts Sally Nugent and Jon Kay updated viewers with the latest news from across the UK and around the world.

    Bữa sáng của BBC

They were joined in the studio by John Watson, who presented the sports segment, while Carol Kirkwood delivered regular weather updates.

At the start of the show, Sally and Jon shared an update after the devastating train attack that took place over the weekend.

Passengers travelling from Doncaster to London were attacked in a mass stabbing on a train on Saturday night (November 1).

Eleven people received treatment in hospital following the attack. One – a member of the train staff – is in a “critical but stable condition”.

On today’s BBC Breakfast, Jon confirmed: “Cambridgeshire police are investigating whether three knife-related incidents in Peterborough on Friday and Saturday are linked to the attacks on a train, in which ten people were stabbed.”

Sally added: “32-year-old Anthony Williams appeared in court, charged with eleven counts of attempted murder, including a separate knife attack at a station in East London in the early hours of Saturday morning.”

In a pre-recorded interview, survivor Stephen Crean reflected on the traumatic events. The Nottingham Forest FC supporter received severe injuries to his head and hand after he confronted the attacker on the train, going face-to-face with him.

“He’s pulled out this great, big, oversized blade and he started waving it about,” Stephen revealed.

“[The attacker] said, ‘Do you want to d!e?’ And I said, ‘No, I don’t want to di3’. He said [it] about three times. He started swinging and I grabbed his arm, and that’s when my fingers are being quite [injured] – not a pretty sight. But then he caught me on the head and stuff like that.”

On why he decided to confront the attacker, Stephen went on: “I don’t think I had much choice. I didn’t hear [people] going into the buffet cart. It wasn’t until I heard they were safe that I turned around, and I was still making sure he’s not making it past. I don’t want him to get past.

“It was one on one, basically, at that stage, just me and him, no one else. Eventually, after that little tussle with him, I got past him.. He tried to get in the buffet cart. It was great that he didn’t get in there. I locked the door, and there was a puddle of blood.”

Stephen has since received messages of thanks from his fellow passengers, concluding: “That was lovely. It was quite emotional because I didn’t know what I’d done. I didn’t have a clue, and that hit home then.”

Alex Jones and Bradley Walsh are being lined up to replace Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman as hosts of Strictly Come Dancing. The One Show host and The Chase presenter are seen by the BBC as the perfect pair to take over from the departing duo on the corporation’s Saturday night staple next year.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Alex and Bradley are both the favourites to take over from Tess and Claudia. They have been in the BBC’s sights for some time as Tess and Claudia’s exit plan has been known for a while. Bradley and Alex are both seen as accomplished broadcasters. He brings the wisecracks and Alex is the calm head who knows how to handle live situations after 15 years of co-hosting The One Show.

Alex Jones is being eyed by the BBC to present Strictly Come Dancing

“Alex is a massive fan of Strictly too so this would be the dream gig for her.”

If Alex, 48, – who competed on Strictly back in 2011 – and Bradley, 65, become the new presenters, they will be over-seeing a “revamp” of the Latin and Ballroom contest.

An insider said: “Losing Tess and Claudia is a big change so there will be a revamp.

“The show will keep its key components like the set, the theme tune and the judging set-up – nothing to cause die-hard fans to kick off.

“But they want to freshen it up, maybe with a new-look logo and new faces on the dance floor. Bringing in Cynthia Erivo as a guest mentor for Movie Week was a taste of what’s to come.

“New hosts and a few minor improvements and changes will breathe some life into it again.”

Tess, 56, and Claudia, 53, announced that they would be leaving Strictly at the end of the current series last month and stressed that they had always planned to exit “together”.

In a video message posted on Daly’s Instagram feed, they said: “We have loved working as a duo and hosting Strictly has been an absolute dream.

“We were always going to leave together and now feels like the right time.

“We will have the greatest rest of this amazing series and we just want to say an enormous thank you to the BBC and to every single person who works on the show. They’re the most brilliant team and we’ll miss them every day.

“We will cry when we say the last ‘keep dancing’ but we will continue to say it to each other. Just possibly in tracksuit bottoms at home while holding some pizza. Tess and Claud.”

EMMERDALE BOMBSHELL: April Windsor makes heartbreaking announcement after 11 years with ITV

    April and Ray

Emmerdale viewers could be forced to bid goodbye to another beloved villager after noticing major clues to another d3ath. During Wednesday’s episode (November 5), fans took to social media to issue a major prediction after one character announced they would be relocating and said farewell to their loved ones. The latest episode of the ITV soap saw ruthless drug dealer Ray Walters (played by Joe Absolom) make an appearance, offering April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) as her mule and instructing her to travel to Newcastle for a job.

He told the teenager: “I need someone up in Newcastle, I’m thinking it should be you. You’d be helping me out when you get your head straight.” As she eventually agreed and lied to her family that she was planning to visit a mate, fans quickly took to X/Twitter to predict that this could lead to potential d3ath. One anticipated: “This April storyline is like watching a wolf leading a lamb to the slaughter.” As another shared: “Is that April off to Newcastle and never to be seen again?”

    Emmerdale logo

A third fan assumed: “They’re gonna draaaag this Ape story till there’s absolutely not even a teeny tiny bit of grissle left or even bone for that matter.”

Alongside forcing her to sell drugs, another fan predicted: “Ray is definitely going to try and pimp April out in Newcastle, the nasty little nonce.”

    April talking to Marlon

As a fifth fumed: “So a father is just letting his 16-year-old go off anywhere and with anyone, and her boyfriend is blindly believing her leaving when he knows she’s being exploited as a drug mule?”

This comes after April told her dad, Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock): “I’m going away for a bit … Lucy from school, her sister is studying in Newcastle … we’re going to stay with her sister.”

In a desperate attempt to convince her dad, the teenager added: “Lucy’s sister loves it there and there’s a course I might be interested in doing in the future.”

To which, a chuffed Marlon responded: “Really? Wow, that’s great. I mean, that’s great that you’re thinking about your future, obviously it is.”

However, there could be “hell to pay” in a major twist to April’s upcoming episodes as Ross Barton star Michael Parr hinted that the teenager’s storyline could take a dark turn.

The actor revealed: “I think that is starting to be released in the scripts soon, so I don’t know what’s going on with it, but we’ve always had a connection.

Talking on Inside Soap’s weekly Soap Scoop podcast, Parr continued: “I’m grateful just to be part of her storylines now. We get on like a house on fire as well. She’s a very thoughtful young woman and it’s been a joy to watch her grow up. She’s still an amazing actress.”

“But if Ross does get involved, it might not be pretty viewing. “I imagine when Ross does find out, there’s going to be hell to pay, I love working with Joe and Jaye [Griffiths, who plays Celia] as well.”

“I think if Ross is provoked and you hurt the wrong people around him, the old Ross is gonna come out.”

  • ITV’s Emmerdale has fans reeling as news breaks of April Windsor’s departure—just as a notorious villain makes a jaw-dropping comeback no one saw coming.

ITV’s Emmerdale has fans reeling as news breaks of April Windsor’s departure—just as a notorious villain makes a jaw-dropping comeback no one saw coming.

Emmerdale has broadcast the shocking comeback of ‘deceased’ Callum after his brutal attack the previous week.

Viewers of the ITV drama will recall that teenager April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) was manipulated into prostitution by Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) and his domineering mother Celia Daniels (Angela Griffiths).

When April encountered the sinister client Callum, she attempted to flee by striking him over the head with a vodka bottle, rendering him unconscious. She remains convinced that Callum has perished, whilst Ray continues his psychological manipulation of the schoolgirl.

    April Windsor

During Wednesday’s Emmerdale episode (November 5), Ray exploited her remorse and feigned worry, informing April that he “needs someone up in Newcastle” and that it would benefit her to depart and “clear her head”.

The antagonist assured April she would merely be handling narcotics as he persuaded her that relocating from the village was sensible, reports the Daily Star.

Callum's fate is revealed on Emmerdale on Friday night

April began bidding farewell to her relatives, pretending she was taking a necessary respite to visit friends in Newcastle, and might even explore the local university.

In a devastating scene, April delivered an emotional goodbye to her brother Leo Goskirk (Harvey Rogerson) and admitted she had committed “something bad”.

Meanwhile, Ray emerged in his vehicle with Callum, who remains very much breathing, beside him, and denied him any medical treatment for his head wound.

In a menacing conversation, Ray declared to Callum, “April won’t be causing any more trouble”, confirming he was aware of his destiny throughout

    Callum

As April gears up to bid farewell to the village, Emmerdale viewers were left unimpressed by Callum’s fate, having suspected he was alive all along.

One fan took to Reddit to express their thoughts: “Of course he (Callum? ) isn’t dead. At least when this all comes out, April won’t be sent down for killing someone, but when will this manipulation end!?”

Another viewer commented: “Not like nobody could see that coming”, while a third added: “It was a pretty predictable plot twist.”

“It was so predictable that he would still be alive,” chimed in another.

On X, another viewer remarked: “Non-surprise of the year. Callum isn’t actually dead. Yawn! # Emmerdale.”

“I wasn’t convinced that April killed Callum, and there’s the creep in Ray’s car with that stupid bandage around his head. # Emmerdale”, one person added.

“Oh look, there’s a dead man, Callum…#Emmerdale,” another quipped, followed by laughing emojis.

Will April depart the village for Newcastle? Emmerdale fans will have to stay tuned to find out.

SHOCK SPLIT: Strictly Star Confirms Breakup with Emmerdale Actress in ‘Embarrassing’ Public Post!

    Strictly Come Dancing stars

A former Strictly Come Dancing star has confirmed the end of his relationship, after being romantically involved with an Emmerdale actress for four years. Singer HRVY joined that star-studded BBC dancefloor in 2020, where he was paired with professional turned host, Janette Manrara. Together, they finished in a three-way tie for second place alongside reality star Jamie Laing and EastEnders star Maisie Smith. The singer, born Harvey Leigh Cantwell, announced to fans that he was single again following a split with Mimi Slinger, who starred on the ITV soap as the troublesome Leanna Cavanagh.

    HRVY's cryptic post

In his cryptic TikTok post, the 26-year-old opened up about his split and the “embarrassing” reason behind their parting ways. In the now-deleted clip, HRVY filmed himself looking deep in thought and giving the camera a thumbs up. Over the top of the video, he wrote: “I’m now single… I blame that Vogue article.” This comes after the article titled “Is Having a Boyfriend Embarrassing Now?” made waves across social media and sparked a major conversation with readers worldwide.

The article written by Chanté Joseph questioned if being with a man is now an “almost guilty thing to do”.

It also explored the many different reasons why women wanted to keep their romances secret, as the writer admitted to muting her own contacts’ social media posts as soon as they mention a boyfriend, knowing their output would become male-focused.

In the story, one interviewee said that she never shared her 12-year relationship and feels relieved as they recently split up, and she doesn’t have to live with a public digital record of their relationship.

Meanwhile, HRVY and Mimi were very public about the romance after initially meeting at the National Television Awards red carpet in 2021.

Their romance blossomed just months after HRVY split from Maisie, whom he’d dated after meeting on the set of Strictly Come Dancing.

A source told The Sun at the time: “HRVY and Mimi are completely loved up. Things are pretty serious between them. They both know each other’s families and their friends have met.”

The singer has previously dished on their relationship and said that it was nice that they were both in the entertainment industry, as it meant they got “to see each other all the time”.

“We get to see each other all the time,” HRVY added. “It’s a nice balance, and because we’re both in the industry, we both understand, so it’s easy.”

Friends of the couple confirmed to The Sun that the relationship was “over”.

Since then, fans have been busy speculating about the sudden split, and who dumped who.

Followers of the couple have come up with three clues that Harrison, 22, was the one who ended things with Lauren, 26.

They also claim that he “blindsided” her.

Fans believe she had no idea that he was about to break up with her.

Taking to Reddit, one wrote fan wrote: “Harrison definitely blindsided her because she was still recently posting with him.

“If she knew, she wouldn’t have posted TikToks with him, that’s embarrassing.”

The second clue came after Lauren broke her silence earlier today and said the split was “mutual”.

Fans think this was a sign that Harrison broke things off.

“I feel like the effort for her to say it was ‘mutual’ most likely means it wasn’t,” this fan added.

The third clue was when a fan said: “It was inevitable based on how he was in every post of hers and she was in none of his.”

Over the last few days Lauren has posted several videos with Harrison, but she hasn’t featured in his.

After The Sun revealed that the Love Island couple had split, Lauren said: “Hi everyone, Harrison and I have decided to no longer continue our relationship but will remain friends as everything was amicable and mutual.

“We share such amazing memories together, ones that not many can relate to.

“Please respect our privacy whilst we navigate going our separate ways.”

Meanwhile, a source told The Sun: “It’s over – they’re both really upset but it wasn’t working.”

The break-up news came just days after fans feared something was amiss when Harrison jetted off for a holiday to Dubai with no sign of Lauren.

    FAN CONCERN

Lauren and Harrison’s relationship was never a smooth one.

With a messy love triangle between the pair and Toni Laites, which drew criticism from charity Women’s Aid, their relationship was tested in Casa Amor.

Viewers saw tensions between the two girls rise as they fought over him.

He then made a plea to Toni ahead of a re-coupling to pick him, despite Harrison having s3x with Lauren twice.

Toni’s decision to choose him in the re-coupling blindsided their exes Cach Mercer and Lauren, who were both left sobbing after the shock discovery.

Harrison was called the “lowest of the low” by fans who were eager for producers to step in and axe the “damaging boy” – prior to his exit.

Harrison then quit the series in explosive scenes, just 24 hours after Lauren was dumped from the villa.

Yet fans were then quick to slam what they deemed to be the footballer’s “scripted” apology.

After rekindling their connection in the real world, they were rocked by post-villa split rumours.
