Ginger Zee has never had so much to be grateful for and it’s gearing up to be a Thanksgiving like no other for her and her family.

The Good Morning America host delivered a very special festive message to fans on Thursday via Instagram.

Taking to the social media platform, Ginger revealed her huge “first” alongside a photo from inside her family home. 

Despite the early start, Ginger was in a jovial mood – and for good reason too. “It’s my first thanksgiving off EVER so I got up and cooking as early as I start GMA and couldn’t be happier,” she revealed.

“First step toasting the cornbread I made yesterday to go in the stuffing… and make room for the turkey! Have fun today everyone #Thanksgiving #prep.”

The photo displayed her cooking efforts as fans rushed to congratulate her for having a day off – and for producing some delicious-looking food.

She posted a photo of herself in her kitchen splattered with what looked like blood and the entire room was also caked in the red goo.

She revealed that she had been trying to make sorbet but the blender exploded. “Thanksgiving prep is going well over here — how about you?,” she wrote, before adding: “I swear I was just following directions. #cranberrysorbet @roofustee @zuidgeestcraft @ashleyyxxo.”

The family welcomed a new addition ahead of the holidays with Ginger sharing a photo of her cousin’s adorable new baby Laken.

Ginger Zee has been a staple of the ABC News circuit since 2011, when she first joined Good Morning America Weekend, and is now one of its most recognizable faces.

Over the weekend, the 42-year-old was inundated with support and congratulatory messages when she revealed she was celebrating a milestone with the network.

On December 2, 2013, Ginger was officially promoted to the network’s Chief Meteorologist, taking over from Sam Champion after he left the network to take a job with The Weather Channel. Watch the moment it happened below…

Ginger took to her Instagram to mark the huge decade milestone with the clip of Sam unofficially passing off the baton (or rain boots) to her to mark the occasion).

Several other colleagues from the show were featured in the clip, sharing more insight into Ginger and how much of a valuable addition she was to the team, and clearly she was moved.

In the caption alongside the clip, she wrote: “Tomorrow marks 10 years since I officially became chief meteorologist at ABC News (I honestly didn’t realize it was this date – until my friend @producerrob sent me this video as a celebration gift) – 12 years in total here at @abcnews, it’s a ride that’s beyond my wildest dreams.”

She continued: “The gratitude is oozing out of me today and every day as we keep growing this ultimate weather and now climate team. Can’t wait to see what we do next,” and proceeded to thank all her colleagues as well as husband Ben Aaron.

 

The GMA official Instagram page also shared the moment and adorably wrote: “Happy 10 year anniversary to @ginger_zee becoming our chief meteorologist! What a wonderful ray of sunshine in our lives.”

The former Good Morning America anchors are not holding back when it comes to discussing the way their romance first broke, their exit from the jobs they loved, and how they’ve reacted to life since.

While they remain vague about when their relationship first went from friendship to romance, both Amy and T.J. clarify that when the photos of their amorous outings were leaked on November 30th, they were already in the midst of divorce proceedings.

“The day the pictures were released that outed us, we were both in divorce proceedings,” T.J., 46, stated, with Amy, 50, revealing that she and her ex-husband had been living apart since August.

Amy was married to actor Andrew Shue and T.J. was married to attorney Marilee Fiebig. Both are also parents, and discussed that the pictures being published were “most difficult” for their children, who were still dealing with the fallout of the divorce.

The fallout from the reveal proved particularly drastic for T.J., who suffered a horrific health scare due to a difficult spiral of emotions the very next day.

Amy tearfully recalled receiving distressing text messages from her partner and after she was unable to get in touch with him, rushed to his house with her father to find him in a state of disarray and nearly unc0nscious, with T.J. terming it a “welfare check.”

 

He shared that he had been dr1nking and t@king subst@nces since getting off work that day, adding that he “didn’t stop” till Amy arrived. “That’s why I was in the state that I was in.”

Both Amy and T.J. revealed that after the photos were first leaked, they were drafting public statements to be shared, confirming that they were indeed in a relationship and were separated from their respective spouses.

“We were putting together a press release,” Amy said. “It was hard because anyone who was a viewer, anyone who was outside our small circle didn’t know we were getting a divorce.”

They both mentioned that there was a press release somewhere that was once ready to go and T.J. expressed regret for the fact that their romance was exposed before people knew they were unattached.

The week after, they were both readying to get back to work and put the scandal behind them, when they each received a phone call from their bosses at ABC News at 6 AM on a Monday morning.

They were told to not come into work, even though it was emphasized that they’d technically done nothing wrong. Amy tearfully combated the decision, stating that it would highlight the growing coverage even more if they were to not go on the air.

 

“I was sick to my stomach, because we knew what was coming once that announcement was made,” Amy reiterated.

Through it all, they expressed that their family and friends were extremely supportive, with Amy revealing that one of her biggest cheerleaders was former Today and GMA correspondent and current The View host Sara Haines.

 

T.J. joked that “maybe they’ll fire her” after Amy opened up about their bond, expressing that they’d remained close since working together on NBC and she constantly texted and checked up on her.

Amy has a close bond with Jennifer, and despite having worked on ABC for many years, she was one of the many celebrities in attendance at the producer’s leaving party back in 2019, when she stepped down as her role as a segment producer to become a special projects producer across many NBC shows, still including Today, but also the Tonight Show.

The party, according to Page Six, was also attended by Amy’s then-husband, Andrew Shue.

It’s certainly been a busy few days for Amy and T.J., who attended the Jingle Ball NYC in Madison Square Garden on Friday 8 December.

The happy couple were all smiles as they stepped out for the special event, and T.J. took along his pre-teen daughter Sabine, who had the time of her life dancing with her famous dad, in footage shared by the star on Instagram.

The couple have found themselves in the headlines once again after it was revealed that their exes have began dating. Amy was married to Melrose Place actor Andrew Shue for 12 years, while T.J. was married to ex-wife Marilee Fiebig for the same length of time.

The pair were spotted looking loved-up in photos showing them packing up their jeep published in the Daily Mail last week, just after Amy and T.J.’s debut podcast episode aired. In November 2022, Amy and T.J.’s relationship first came to light after photos of them looking loved-up were published in the Daily Mail.

The couple have recently revealed that despite claims of an affair, they had both been separated from their partners when the news became public.

“November 30, 2022, was the day that we were, and this is very important, we were outed,” T.J. said during episode one of their new podcast.

“To be clear, we were outed as being in a relationship, but everyone else thought we were being outed as adulterers — being outed as cheating on our spouses — and it wasn’t the case because the odd thing is, the day those pictures were taken and the day that article was released, we both at that point were in divorce proceedings.”

Amy, 50, added: “Yes, we had attorneys, mediators. We were in the middle of divorces.”

Michael Strahan loves nothing more than being a father and this year, he went through quite the change when his youngest children, 18-year-old twins Isabella and Sophia, flew the nest.

However, over the weekend, the TV favorite was reunited with his daughter Isabella at his home in LA. Isabella is studying at the University of Southern California, and it appears as if the father-daughter duo had a great time together, along with Enzo and Zuma, who also featured in the picture.

What’s more, the photo gave a rare look inside Michael’s stunning LA home, featuring an open-plan living room and a festive Christmas tree, as well as artwork displayed on the walls.

Isabella was the person behind the camera, and made sure her dad gave her credit for the pictures. “Photo creds,” she told her dad via the comments section.

Back in August when Isabella flew the nest, proud dad Michael paid tribute to her ahead of her big move away from home, sharing on Instagram: “Out of high school and on to USC! So proud of you, Isabella! Intelligent, beautiful, and hard-working!! I can’t wait to continue to watch you shine!!”

Responding with equal enthusiasm, Isabella echoed with a spirited, “Fight on!” Amidst all her successes, one thing stands out—Isabella’s bio change on Instagram to “USC ‘27.”

Isabella’s twin, Sophia, meanwhile, has gone off to study at North Carolina, at Duke College. At the time of her departure from NYC, the GMA star shared several pictures of himself with the teenager, both taken outside the college and at Target, where they were shopping for dorm supplies.

When it comes to his downtime, he enjoys nothing more than going unnoticed in his neighbourhood.

Talking about the relaxed area of NYC during an interview with the New York Times, he said: “I like the Upper West Side, because, being a father, I like the family feel to it. you see mothers with strollers, people walking their dogs. One thing I love about the neighbourhood, when you go into places, it’s not like, ‘Michael!’ I’m another person who’s just there.”

Michael Strahan shared a cryptic post on Tuesday that no doubt raised some alarm bells after he admitted he is his “own worst enemy”.

The ‘GMA‘ star is finally back on the morning show following an extended hiatus last month due to a “personal family matter”, but judging by his latest Instagram Story, it appears Michael still has some unresolved issues on his mind.

Michael reshared a quote from himself that was originally posted by his entertainment agency, SMAC Entertainment. It read: “We’re our own worst enemy. You doubt yourself more than anybody else ever will. If you can get past that, you can be successful.“

Alongside the quote, the former NFL star added: “The person who is hardest on you is usually yourself. #RaiseYourGame.”

Michael returned to ‘GMA‘ on November 15 but didn’t divulge the reason behind his absence. He received a warm welcome from his co-anchors, George Stephanopoulos, and Robin Roberts, who was almost in tears over his return.

Speaking about his daughters’ decisions to go to separate schools during an appearance on ‘The View’, Michael said: “Sophia is going to Duke, Isabella is going to USC. [They are] their first choices of school, and they worked really hard. I’m very proud of them, I’m a happy father.”

He added: “They’re very far from each other, but they went to separate high schools, since tenth grade. They have completely separate sets of friends, even though they are great friends with each other.”

The Good Morning America family just got bigger! Weekend anchor Janai Norman has confirmed the arrival of her third baby.

The ABC star, 33, welcomed her baby boy with her husband of five years, whose name she prefers to keep private. The couple already share a five-year-old son and three-year-old daughter, whose names they have also opted not to share publicly.

The now mom-of-three hosts Good Morning America Weekend with Whit Johnson, Gio Benitez, and Somara Theodore, and announced her pregnancy live on the show back in April.

Janai took to Instagram over Christmas weekend and confirmed that her third baby was born “safely at home” last month.

Sharing a tender photo of the sweet newborn laying on his mom’s chest, Janai aptly wrote: “Dear Santa. We’ve already got more than we could’ve ever imagined to wish for.”

She continued: “We welcomed baby boy Earthside last month. Born safely at home with daddy, big brother and sister nearby. The five of us,” and declared: “Our family is complete and blessed beyond our wildest dreams.”

She concluded: “Eternally grateful to @cihuapahtlimc for again empowering me to trust my body and birth new life comfortably on my terms,” tagging Dr. T’Karima Ticitl, who offers home birth midwife services.

Janai had previously opened up to People about her wishes for a third baby, and that she had “been manifesting this.”

She told the outlet: “I’ve been very open about wanting to have a third. Just before I found out I told friends at lunch ‘I really feel like things are starting to clear out to allow me to welcome the blessing.’”

The doting mom also opened up about her wish of having another home birth, as she did with her previous two babies, and said: “It went so well and was so beautiful. I was determined to do it again with my daughter and had an incredible water birth during the pandemic. People would look at me crazy when I told them it was magical. It truly was.”

The hosts of Good Morning America pride themselves on not only their onscreen chemistry but their friendships off air too.

But one year after Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes were taken off the air due to their aff@ir, the star has confessed she doesn’t miss the ABC show.

During her joint podcast with T.J. this week, Amy spoke about the lessons she had learned in the last 12 months.

She told her boyfriend: “I learned that I never want to go back to the grind of morning television. And I learned that I don’t miss the job.” Amy then added: “I miss the people.”

While many of her co-stars preferred to steer clear of passing comment on their friend’s romance, they have subtly shared support for her since.

In September, Sam Champion, who often appears as a meteorologist on GMA, liked Amy’s Instagram post when she shared a photo of herself with her daughter Ava.

Clearly happy to see her back online after a lengthy break from social media, he simply commented with a smiley face emoji.

George Stephanopoulos was also all smiles when quizzed on the GMA shakeup not long after Amy and T.J. departed.

He told ETonline that “things were great” and buzzed about Eva Pilgrim and DeMarco Morgan replacing them.

Their GMA3 colleague, Dr. Jennifer Ashton has been praised for her professional handling of the situation too.

Amy and T.J. recently shared how much she knew of their secret relationship on the podcast.

After the co-hosts were asked when Dr. Jen first learned of the relationship, or if she suspected anything, T.J. shared: “Dr. Ashton is somebody that I told – she might be one of the first – I think I told her about the divorce,” referring to his split from ex-wife Marilee Fiebig.

He went on: “She is one I think I told about the divorce before I even told my parents,” before Amy explained that they were put in a tricky situation when it came to attending Jennifer’s wedding in early November, when they were already secretly a couple.

They decided to brave it and Amy said: “I’m sure there might have been some raised eyebrows,” Amy continued, adding: “But we needed to tell her,” and maintained their former colleague did also already know she was getting divorced from her husband at the time, Andrew Shue.

Ginger Zee has also remained close to Amy and congratulated her after she ran the New York Marathon on November 5.

While Amy and T.J. weren’t pictured in Robin Roberts and Amber Laign’s wedding in September, they are believed to have also maintained their friendship.

Amy and Robin have always shared a special bond as she wouldn’t have discovered she had breast cancer if it wasn’t for Robin pushing for her to get a mammogram on GMA.

Despite Amy saying she doesn’t miss the grind of morning TV, T.J. confessed he felt like they were, “the folks who lost the jobs we love because we love each other.”
