GMA SH0CKER: David Muir leaves audience in Tears recalling emotional Canc3r journey!

David Muir joined his Good Morning America colleagues at the Paley Center honors attended by HELLO! on Monday night, where he spoke on a “personal battle” that his friend Michael Strahan had weathered in recent years.

Taking to the stage to celebrate Good Morning America’s 50th anniversary and its incredible impact on millions of Americans, David shared his support for Michael following his daughter Isabella’s battle with cnc3r

David took to the stage to share how much he admired Michael’s strength

The 51-year-old shared that the father of four was the one “Who brings the joy to the mornings and who, like Robin [Roberts], witnessed a personal battle within his own family – Isabella –  these last couple of years.”

He continued: “I know it’s a difficult choice whether or not to share that with the audience, but Michael, please know that we were all inspired by how you handled that not only as a father, but as one of the hosts on Good Morning America – that balance of bringing the audience in.”

Michael’s daughter Isabella, whom he shares with his ex-wife Jean Muggli, was diagnosed with medulloblastoma in October 2023 after noticing she couldn’t walk in a straight line and was experiencing constant nausea.

After her twin sister Sophia encouraged her to get a checkup and doctors found a tumor in her brain, Isabella was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery.

“As a parent, you’re scared. Oh my, you’re just scared,” Michael shared in the ABC special Life Interrupted: Isabella Strahan’s Fight to Beat Cnc3r.

“It never occurred to us that it would be cnc3r. I’ll be honest with you, just looking at the trajectory at that point of her life – and we have no history of anything bad in the family.”

She made a full recovery and is now in remission

Thankfully, Isabella was declared cnc3r-free in July 2024 after months of chemotherapy, radiation and brain surgeries.

Michael added that he would be nervous for the rest of his life seeing her get a scan, as the fear never leaves.

“There will not be a time where she’s getting a scan where I won’t be on pins and needles. I don’t care if it’s 10 years, 20 years, 30 years from now, you’ll always be nervous. And I could tell she feels it too,” he said in the special.

David joined Michael, Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos at the Paley Center to accept the 50th-anniversary honor on Monday night.

“Since its debut in 1975 on ABC, Good Morning America has been a cornerstone of morning television, delivering breaking news, insightful interviews, and uplifting stories that shape the day,” read the center’s website.

“A pioneer in the industry, GMA seamlessly blends hard-hitting journalism with warmth, entertainment, and human-interest features, making it a cherished daily ritual for millions…As the show celebrates its 50th anniversary, it continues to evolve while maintaining its reputation as one of the most trusted voices in media.”

David’s kind words at the event come just a week after the World News Tonight anchor shared a heartfelt farewell message to social media after covering the papal conclave in Rome, where Pope Leo XIV was elected as the first American to hold the position.

“Ciao Roma. You never disappoint,” David wrote alongside a picture of himself walking away from the Vatican with a briefcase in hand.

SAD NEWS: Good Morning America enters a new era – Iconic trio Michael Strahan, Robin Roberts, and George Stephanopoulos close the chapter on 25 years at Times Square.

It’s not just a new day and new week for Good Morning America, it’s a new era!

On Monday, June 16, anchors Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan and George Stephanopoulos and the rest of their colleagues and crew officially moved down to their new studios in downtown Manhattan, 25 years after they first moved into their previous Times Square studios.

Their new studios, which also house fellow ABC mainstays The View, LIVE with Kelly & Mark, 20/20, World News Tonight, and the Tamron Hall Show, are in Disney’s new headquarters, 7 Hudson Square. Take a look at them in the video below.

GMA kicked off their Monday broadcast with Robin declaring: “It’s a big day, welcome to our new home,” as George later added: “New day, new week, new home,” and Michael then quipped: “It’s a beautiful location in the city.”

The View was among the first of ABC’s shows to move into their new 22-story building, the Robert A. Iger building, which opened last year after construction began around 2019.

Designed by renowned architecture firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, Disney’s website states that the “new complex, which serves as a collaborative town square in the bustling city, has already started welcoming employees, and by next summer will officially be home to news, editorial, live productions, streaming, technology, advertising, corporate, business support functions, and more.”

Named after current Disney CEO Bob Iger, who began his career at ABC in 1974, “7 Hudson Square is also a testament to Disney’s commitment to NYC, its economy, and its people. The state-of-the-art building encompasses an entire city block and will be a collaborative hub for the company’s media, production, and innovation.”

Amy Robach delighted fans at the start of the week when it was revealed that she was officially back at Good Morning America studios.

After an exciting adventure abroad, the TV personality had returned to the comfort of her New York studio with her co-stars on GMA3.

And she was sure to let fans know that her return would be quite grand in an outfit that surely many of them will remember and admire for quite a while.

Amy took to the air in a sensational leather dress that hugged her figure and even allowed her to show off her toned runner’s legs.

The skin-tight outfit marked a different turn for Amy, who usually was styled in brighter colors and combinations. Her look was topped off with a matching pair of heels.

She enthusiastically captured her post featuring the outfit: “Home!!!!!” And fans were absolutely thrilled to see her back, inundating the comments section with heart emojis.

So Outspoken he Got Fired – Will Cain’s Past Controversies Sh0ck Fox News viewers today!

Will Cain hosts 'Fox & Friends Weekend' event in 2021

Fox News has added a new show to the network’s afternoon line-up, featuring a familiar face. Fox News personality Will Cain, who has been co-hosting “Fox & Friends Weekend,” kicked off his new 4 p.m. series, “The Will Cain Show,” on January 21. Cain has taken on a time slot that had previously been filled by former Fox News stalwart Neil Cavuto and his long-running series “Your World,” until Cavuto’s departure from the network in December, after 26 years.

“I’m an incredibly curious person, and one of the exciting challenges of this new job is the balancing act of transition from news into opinion,” Cain told Fox News Digital ahead of his new show’s premiere. “I’ll be offering the audience my honest opinion, my unvarnished opinion on the news. But I will also be presenting reports and giving the audience the information they need at that time of the day to help make up their own mind.”

From his legal background and law degree to his years of broadcasting experience, Will Cain seems like he’ll be a good fit for the conservative-leaning news network. However, while he recently got President Donald Tr::u-mp’s support on social media, Cain hasn’t always been a champion of Tr::u-mp or his populist message, which could lead to some interesting coverage in the years to come. As Cain begins the next chapter of his career, we’re looking back at everything we know about Fox News’ newest rising network star.

Will Cain played water polo in college at Pepperdine University

When Will Cain was studying at Pepperdine University, working toward his undergraduate degree in telecommunications, the future news anchor got in some exercise playing water polo on the university’s team, the Waves. While Cain, a walk-on for the team, only played for a single season, and only scored one goal during his tenure on the team (in a game against UC Santa Barbara), the experience taught Cain some important lessons that he took with him as he moved forward in life.

“Playing water polo at Pepperdine taught me humility, and while I was never the star athlete there, I never suffered from a lack of ego,” Cain shared in an interview with the University’s athletics website in November 2010. “I went in knowing that I wasn’t going to be as good as my teammates, but at the same time I dedicated myself to never quitting and never doing things for a specific reward.”

According to Cain, he learned a great deal about perseverance by not necessarily being the best on the team. He stuck with it, regardless of his limitations, and even after his time on the Waves came to an end he was a vocal and ardent supporter, cheering his team on until he graduated in 1997.

Will Cain will brings his legal background and law degree to the political analysis on his show

Fox News anchor Will Cain appears on an episode of 'Fox & Friends' in June 2023

When the news first broke that Cain would be hosting his own show, the newsman said he was excited to bring his background in law and analysis to the job. Throughout his education, Cain began to form both halves of the broadcaster he would become. As Cain explained to Jason Chaffetz on his “Jason in the House” podcast in 2023, after studying broadcast journalism at Pepperdine — and becoming disillusioned with how it felt like they were teaching him to be an actor, instead of a journalist — Cain decided to challenge himself and go to law school.

The move was partly inspired by his father. “My dad was an attorney, and we debated and argued at the dinner table, and I remember just being so proud of him in the courtroom,” Cain reflected, explaining that he later felt he found his conservative voice while working toward his law degree at the University of Texas School of Law, where he graduated in 2000.

Before he became a journalist himself, Will Cain tried his hand at being a burgeoning media mogul instead. While living in Texas and taking care of his brother — following his dad’s death in 2001 — Cain bought up two local community newspapers under a start-up media company he called Cain Media. Under that banner, Cain founded a handful of other publications in small local markets, which thrived under his ownership. Eventually, Cain sold the entire group of newspapers to the now-defunct Stevens Media.

Cain took the money he earned from the sale and began a new venture, Quince Media. A physical and digital magazine targeted toward Hispanic audiences, devoted to quinceaneras — the traditional celebration of a young woman turning 15. The magazine and website was essentially akin to the many publications dedicated to weddings, which promoted quinceanera expos, stores, style trends, and personal stories. Unfortunately, with the recession in 2009, the venture fell apart.

“I was spending a lot of time around something I wasn’t truly passionate about,” Cain said in a profile interview on Pepperdine University’s athletics department website. “It’s easy to overlook how you are spending your time if you are making money. But when you fail, you have a chance to look back.” It was at this point that he turned his sights toward his original passion — sports broadcasting.

Will Cain got his start at ESPN as one of the network’s most conservative hosts

Before making his way to TV, Will Cain cut his broadcasting teeth in a radio booth. In 2015, he started off as a co-host on the ESPN Radio show “Will and Kate,” appearing opposite fellow sports reporter Kate Fagan. Fagan later complemented Cain as a co-host, telling The Washington Post in September 2018, “He hasn’t changed my mind on any one issue; he’s been more impactful. Will was my first foray into getting out of my own echo chamber and radically changed how I looked at stories.”

By late 2018, he’d moved on up to hosting his own show, also called “The Will Cain Show,” for ESPN Radio. During this time, Cain often appeared as a guest commentator on the ESPN sports talk show “First Take,” and built up a reputation for bringing his staunch conservative voice to the network, and debating “First Take” star Stephen A. Smith on a slew of divisive topics related to sports, and sometimes not related to sports at all.

Cain frequently faced pushback from viewers and critics and often took heat from other ESPN hosts. Eventually, in 2020, Cain departed from ESPN and made his way to Fox News to co-host “Fox & Friends Weekend” — alongside controversial co-host and future secretary of defense nominee Pete Hegseth — where his conservative takes have been more well-received by the network’s audience.

Will Cain has been critical of DonaldTr::u:mp in the past

Will Cain serves as co-host on 'Fox & Friends Weekend' in March 2024

After it was announced that Will Cain would be hosting his own show on Fox News, President Donald Tr::u-mp congratulated the anchor on social media. Having the president share praise just two days after Tr::u-mp’s high-profile (and low-rated) inauguration was something Cain told Fox News Digital he took as an enormous compliment. “It makes me feel grateful,” Cain said. “One of the privileges of hosting ‘FOX & Friends Weekend’ over the last five years has been knowing the President of the United States … watches what you have to say.”

Luckily for Cain, it doesn’t seem that Tr::u-mp watched what he had to say when he declared that he didn’t vote for Tr::u-mp in 2016, and that he’s been openly critical of Tr::u-mp in the past. With Cain in a prime position on Fox News, however, it’s unlikely viewers will be hearing similar rhetoric anytime soon.

“My Baby Doesn’t Deserve This” – Fox News Host Kat Timpf BREAKS DOWN as she Opens Up for the First Time about T0xic Crit1cism, leaving viewers Heartbroken!

Commentator, comedian, podcaster and author Kat Timpf isn’t here for your preconceived notions. Whether she’s bringing her vibrant personality to a stage or sharing her libertarian perspectives on “Gutfeld!” via Fox News, one can always count on her to make light of heavy topics with a witty and unapologetic approach.

Gutfeld!' on COVID Christmas, Michelle Obama 2024 talk | Fox News

Originally from Detroit but launching her comedy career in Los Angeles, Timpf graduated magna cum laude from Hillsdale College. Over the years, she has remained incredibly active, seamlessly balancing her comedy career with her influence in the political space.

She recently announced her first pregnancy, and her second book, “I Used to Like You Until… (How Binary Thinking Divides Us),” was published Sept. 10 by Simon & Schuster and follows up her New York Times bestseller, “You Can’t Joke About That: Why Everything Is Funny, Nothing Is Sacred, and We’re All in This Together.”

Crediting humor for helping her navigate both the highs and lows, Kat Timpf’s popularity comes from a relatable blend of hard laughs and genuine emotion, with context playing a crucial role. On Sept. 14, Timpf is bringing all of that (plus cool merch) to Thousand Oaks on her “I Used to Like You Tour” at the Scherr Forum Theatre, where she’ll be showing off her comedy chops, all while inadvertently squashing those “you can’t have it all” naysayers.

It’s so crazy how well “Gutfeld!” is doing. I mean, not crazy, I was a huge “Red Eye” fan. I always found it random that it was on Fox News. It was interesting trying to tell certain people why the show was so great.

Kat Timpf: Yeah, I was a huge fan of “Red Eye” before I ever was on it. I didn’t tell Greg that until a year after I got hired, though. And I still have to explain to people about Fox because people have ideas about it, that everybody there is about the same thing, and it’s just not accurate. It’s totally possible to have a friendship with people that you don’t agree with on political issues, which is beyond frustrating to the point of me having to write this book.

Choosing sides seems to be the thing people demand, but it’s rarely black-and-white.

Right, and people will say that you’re a “fence sitter” because you don’t firmly sit on one side or the other because you have different independent views. I’m not sitting on a fence, I’m actually very firm in my own views. It actually would be a lot easier for me to go all in on one side or the other because then I’d have this whole team of people backing me up, no matter what I said or did. It’s easier to have a team of allies.

Fox News host Kat Timpf undergoes breast cancer surgery for diagnosis she received just before giving birth to first child

I have to imagine that people you know, and don’t know, also have been free and loose with the baby advice?

I have no idea what to expect, obviously, and I’ve definitely been given advice from people online, which bothers me less than people just being so mean and hateful. I’m 35, so they call it a “geriatric pregnancy.” So, for years I was getting these hate comments like, “You don’t understand anything about the world because you don’t have any kids. Your eggs are scrambled and drying up, and you’ll regret this soon. You’re so selfish.”

Then I got pregnant, and you would have thought that this is what these people wanted, right? I mean, I didn’t do it for them, but now people are saying, “Can you just shut up about being pregnant already?” Some of them are the same people! Some people are just gonna be haters no matter what.

I just hate the whole, “Oh, you’re not the first person in the world to be pregnant.” I know that! But it’s the first time I’ve been pregnant! Life can be so monotonous and there are so few things that inspire a sense of genuine wonderment and amazement about life and being alive. I’ve been so dead inside that sometimes I’m just like, let me have this! You’re mad that I’m happy and excited about having a baby? So, if people want to give me actual useful advice because you mean well, I’m good with you.

Cover for Timpf's new book "I Used to Like You Until...(How Binary Thinking Divides Us)"

    (Simon & Schuster)

The most bizarre thing about social media is that you’ll never make a stranger happy. And truly, why is it even important?

Right? I’ve never seen someone else being excited about something in their life, whether it’s them getting married, having a baby, getting a new job or coming out with a book, and just being like, urghhh no thanks. Life can be really depressing, and life can be really boring, so if you’re excited and happy about something, that’s amazing and I’m happy for you.

I do love that you clap back when needed. And not to be cheesy, but you do bare it all in your new book. I found it strong and vulnerable.

I’ve definitely always been like this, but I’m a sensitive person too. I write a lot about that in the new book. There have been times where people have said mean things to me and I’ve direct messaged them and said something like, “That really hurt my feelings.” Nine times out of 10 the person will say, “I’m sorry.” Now, one time out of 10 they’ll be even more mean, and that makes me feel really bad.

That’s actually the concept of the cover of the book — I’m n@k3d and I’m covered in h@t3 ma1l. It’s just vulnerability in the face of overwhelming hatred. And I think that being vulnerable about your own stuff in your life can help people when they now see that you’re human. For me, it also goes back to intention, and you have to be able to stand up for yourself when people are coming for you with bad intentions. If we could just all see each other as humans rather than this team or that team, we could find a lot more to agree on than we think.

It really is wild that people will see you for your job but not as the human working a job to pay for your life. It’s like, we are not them.

That’s what it is, and this book is for anyone who has ever felt like someone’s written them off for just one single aspect of themselves. A single difference in viewpoint, or association, or an assumption should not be enough to write off another person entirely. We lose so much when we do that. And I know this book is coming out during a very contentious and very polarized time, and I didn’t write this book because of that, I wrote it in spite of that. I really think this is an important book, and it’s also a fun book to read.

    (Melinda DiMauro)

Do you ever trip out thinking about what life was like when you came out to L.A. versus you coming to L.A. now?

Yes! I wrote about being in L.A. a little in my first book, but when I came to Los Angeles out of college, I was struggling. I worked at Boston Market waiting tables and I lived in a really crappy apartment, and then I couldn’t afford that apartment, so I had to move in with this bartender I was kind of sort of seeing.

I was really struggling trying to do what I am doing now. I had done stand-up one time before, so I started doing comedy in L.A. because I was going through so much rough stuff. I found that it was really helpful to get onstage and make fun of the things making me feel powerless. It gave me a sense of power over it. I kept doing it when I moved to D.C. for a job, and then I quit three times, but then I got back onstage and it’s like, I love this!

I’m sure Scherr Forum Theatre in Thousand Oaks adding a second show because you sold out the first one feels pretty great too?

It really does! I’m very, very excited. Those shows are the opening two shows for the tour, so I’m very grateful. There is no place for me quite like the Los Angeles area because of the effect that it has on me. Thinking about how much I struggled here, hoping for that sliver of a chance that I’d be able to do what I’m doing now — it’s so awesome. I have a lot of new material, and I could not be more excited about it. I’ve never played this venue either, and honestly, it’s still overwhelming to me that I get to do this.

I’m just very grateful for every single person that comes out. I think that opening this tour in this area is the best way to do it. Every time I get out of the airport and I’m driving through L.A., I still get emotional. I’m very grateful and I hope I never stop being astounded by all of this.

Comedy is such a complex thing because you’re watching a somewhat insecure mind that absolutely shines in a spotlight.

I have a whole line of “Are You Mad at Me?” merch so, spot on. I’m insufferable, really, but at least I’m self-aware!

Janice’s words of encouragement not only highlighted solidarity within the “Fox News family,” but also resonated deeply due to her own courageous health journey.

Shortly after Timpf’s announcement, Janice Dean took to social media to offer comfort and strength. In a heartfelt post on X, she wrote:

“Kat, you are a warrior, and we—the Fox News family—are always here for you. May you recover swiftly and return soon with your bright smile.”

Her message transcended typical collegial support, emphasizing the tight-knit bond among Fox News team members, who frequently refer to each other as “family.” For Timpf, facing a double mastect0my surgery and the challenges of early motherhood simultaneously, this support undoubtedly provided immense strength.

Janice’s solidarity didn’t stop at words. She reshared Timpf’s announcement, adding a heart emoji and writing:

“Strength comes from the smallest things—like the love from family and friends.”

This sincere gesture conveyed Janice’s profound empathy, rooted in her own experiences dealing with severe health challenges.

Janice Dean’s backing becomes even more significant when considering her personal health battle. In 2005, Dean was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS)—an autoimmune disease affecting the central nervous system. It’s a chronic condition with no known cure, and Janice has been candid about the difficulties she’s faced—from numbness in her limbs to the daily challenge of accepting a changing body.

In her book Mostly Sunny: How I Learned to Keep Smiling Through the Rainiest Days (2019), Janice recounts her journey living with MS:

“Some days I felt trapped in my own body, but I chose to smile and find joy in the small things.”

Her optimism clearly inspires the way she supports Kat Timpf. To Janice, Timpf’s cnc3r struggle isn’t just that of a coworker, but a battle she deeply understands, empathizing profoundly with the interwoven fears and hopes that accompany serious health issues.

Solidarity Within the “Fox News Family”

Janice’s compassionate response is emblematic of the broader unity at Fox News. Greg Gutfeld, the host of Gutfeld!, publicly hailed Timpf as “a strong person” and wished her a speedy return. Kayleigh McEnany, Guy Benson, and Jessica Tarlov also shared warm encouragement—with Tarlov even gifting Timpf a humorously-inscribed cake to lift her spirits. Yet Janice’s compassion stood apart, infused with special resonance drawn from her own firsthand experience.

In a previous interview, Janice once remarked:

“When you go through health hardships, you truly appreciate those around you. I’m blessed to have my Fox News family by my side.”

Supporting Timpf now seems Janice’s heartfelt way of returning the care she herself once received, further cementing Fox News’ ethos of standing together through life’s trials.

Kat Timpf: Embracing Optimism Like Janice

Though just beginning her cnc3r treatment journey, Kat Timpf already reflects Janice Dean’s resilient spirit in confronting adversity. In her March 14, 2025 announcement, Timpf humorously remarked:

“Once I get through childbirth, surgery, and back to the gym, everything will be fine.”

This positive outlook mirrors Janice’s own approach over her 20-year journey with MS—consistently seeking rays of light amid darkness.

When asked about the support from colleagues, Timpf shared on Instagram Stories:

“I’m grateful for the love from my Fox News family, especially Janice, who always reminds me that we’re stronger than we think.”

Though her exact return date remains unclear, support from colleagues like Janice undoubtedly serves as a powerful source of motivation as she faces this formidable challenge.

    Conclusion

Janice Dean’s heartfelt support for Kat Timpf is more than just a touching story of workplace camaraderie—it’s a powerful illustration of empathy’s strength and the power of optimism. Drawing from her own struggles with MS, Janice offers Timpf not just encouraging words, but a living example of how to face adversity with grace and determination. Within the Fox News family, coworkers don’t merely work together—they weather life’s storms side-by-side, offering a beautiful and deeply human message to us all.

    AB Issue

Today, the issue of AB has been dividing people in the United States. With the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case going on, the national debate has undeniably heightened. And many people, famous or not, gave their insights and opinions about the issue. Among them is the mother of Fox News host Lawrence Jones.

Apparently, last week, the political commentator allowed his mom to guest on-air for the first time. The “Lawrence Jones Cross Country” host also noted that he didn’t want to share her with the world, but he had to guest her. Then he asked during the live interview, “Why did you choose to have me?”

    Pr3gnant Teen Chose Life

Lawrence’s mom, Tameria, was 16-years-old when she got pr3gnant. She grew up being taught “about s3x and what happened if you had s3x unpr0tected.” However, it happened to her. And right then, she knew it was her “responsibility.”

“It was my responsibility,” the mom explained. “It wasn’t my mom, my grandparents. I knew that I had to step up to the plate. And that caused me to let sports go, and I became a mommy.”

Tameria loved playing basketball as a young teenager. She was the star player during their time. That’s why she lost her friends when she stopped playing the sport to keep her baby. The pr3gnant teen did not hesitate to leave everything behind to become a mom despite the odds. Although she knew it would be a long and challenging journey, Tameria never regretted her decision. And on-air, she revealed her secret—dependence on God.

“The more I prayed, the more I talked to God, and the more that I was honest about my struggle, I had that village that came along,” Lawrence’s mom recounted.

In the end, the Fox News host thanked his mom for choosing to give birth to him.

“I’m so grateful that you made that decision,” he told her. Then she replied, “I love you, son.”

Since joining Fox News in 2018, Lawrence B. Jones has been working his way up the ranks. The political commentator began hosting his own show, Cross Country, in 2022; the following year, he landed a permanent co-hosting position on the weekday edition of Fox & Friends as a permanent co-host.

It’s obvious he’s a fan-favorite, but there’s someone else fans love even more: Lawrence’s dog, Nala. Read on to learn more about the canine! Plus, stick around to find out why Cross Country was canceled.

Let’s meet Lawrence Jones’s service dog, Nala!

On Sept. 17, 2022, Lawrence introduced Nala to the world. He posted three photos of the adorable pup on Instagram, and it’s safe to say everyone instantly fell in love with her. Nala has since become a staple on Lawrence’s social media pages, but believe it or not, he didn’t open up about her until a few months later.

During the March 28, 2023, episode of Ride to Work With Abby Hornacek, the Texas native shared his love for his dog, telling the titular host, “Nala has been a gift to me.”

Lawrence then explained how he met Nala, telling Abby, “I got assigned this story of this Special Forces operator dog named Raptor, and Raptor is one of the most decorated canines, especially during the war on terror.”

“And so, me and Raptor formed this connection,” he continued. “[She’s a] very tough dog, but she just would not leave me alone, and so the Special Forces operator looks at me and goes, ‘I feel like you want one.’”

Lawrence “jokingly said, ‘Well, if you can find me one from Raptor’s bloodline, I’ll get one.’ So on Labor Day, he sends me a picture and goes, ‘Brother, I found you one,’ and it’s a picture of Nala. I got so att@ched.”

Since then, Lawrence and Nala have been att@ched at the hip. And when she’s not training with Baden K9 to help U.S. veterans with PTSD, this sweet little pooch is living her very best life.

What happened to ‘Lawrence Jones Cross Country’?

On Sept. 9, 2023, Lawrence’s show, Cross Country, ended its run. The popular program — which debuted on Jan. 29, 2022 — aired every Saturday at 9 p.m. EST live from Fox News’ world headquarters in New York City.

So, what happened? Well, on Sept. 14, Fox News announced that Lawrence had been named a permanent co-host of the weekday edition of Fox & Friends. As a result, Cross Country was canceled, and One Nation with Brian Kilmeade took over the 9 p.m. Saturday slot.

Fox revealed that Lawrence’s promotion makes him the “youngest Black co-host in cable news.”

The network added, “Lawrence has his finger on the pulse of what matters to communities across America, and his insight has proved invaluable to the FOX & Friends audience. We look forward to welcoming him to our family as he wakes up America alongside our star co-hosts each morning.”

In his own statement, Lawrence said, “I am honored to become a part of the cable news legacy Fox News has created with Fox & Friends, the very show where I made my first ever national television appearance. It is truly a privilege to inform our audience every day, and I can’t wait to do so each morning.”

Jones will also continue in his role as the program’s enterprise reporter. His weekend show Lawrence Jones Cross Country will end with his new promotion, with Kilmeade taking over the 9 p.m. Saturday time slot.

Lawrence Jones joins 'Fox & Friends' fulltime

“I am honored to become a part of the cable news legacy Fox News has created with Fox & Friends, the very show where I made my first ever national television appearance,” Jones said in a statement. “It is truly a privilege to inform our audience every day and I can’t wait to do so each morning.”

Fox says that Jones, 30, is the “youngest Black co-host in cable news” with the promotion. Doocy and Kilmeade have co-hosted the morning show since 1998, while Earhardt joined in 2016. Former co-hosts include Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Gretchen Carlson.

Jones is the latest example of Fox making tweaks to its lineup, following its primetime reshuffling this summer, which was made after the ouster of 8 p.m. host Tucker Carlson in the spring. Dan Bongino and Steve Hilton also left Fox’s weekend lineup, with the channel expanding Mark Levin’s hours. And earlier this week, the channel extended anchor Bret Baier’s contract.

And he is also the latest tweak in the TV news morning show wars, where Fox & Friends has long been the cable news leader (ABC’s Good Morning America has won the broadcast morning battle of late). While MSNBC’s Morning Joe has been stable, CNN added Phil Mattingly and Kasie Hunt earlier this summer. NBC’s Today show added Laura Jarrett as a co-anchor, and will move the program from Washington, D.C., back to New York.
