Denise Welch shared her true feelings about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry during a candid conversation on the US chat show, Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen this week. The 67-year-old, who is the mother of The 1975 frontman Matty Healy, talked about her son on the programme and his former relationship with Taylor Swift, but people really wanted to know her thoughts on the Sussexes.

During her conversation with veteran interviewer Andy, a fan of the show named Jasmine wanted to know the current opinion that members of the UK general public had about Harry and Meghan. Denise quickly looked at the studio audience before going into a lengthy monologue about the pair, who share children Archie and Lilibet.

The Loose Women regular explained: “Well, I have a very different view from a lot of people, and I express this on the show I do at home called Loose Women.

“I am like the only person who flies the Harry and Meghan flag, even though I don’t know them. I’ve met a few of the royals over the years, but I have never met them.

“But I just think the amount of bullying by the press, British and American, that that woman gets… Remember, she was in those rooms, a lot of them, as a young black American woman; she had a big voice in UNICEF and the United Nations.

“She was in a lot of those rooms before Harry and I just try to fly the flag a bit. You have to remember, this is a boy who was forced at 12 years old to walk behind his mother’s coffin. His dad had been unfa1thful, and he grew up in that world.

“And I think, for him to want to say his piece is something quite admirable. I think they are in love. He’s never been unfa1thful to her… The ab::se she got for saying she is m3ntally 1ll… I suffered severe postnatal d3pr3ssion and was hospitalised when I had Matthew.

“So I really empathise with someone who is open about that. And she got ridiculed and hated. And what has she really done? And every single day she is battered.”

The audience applauded and cheered after Denise finished making her point about the Duchess of Sussex as host Andy remarked: “Good answer.”

Just ahead of the ceremony starting, Bernie’s emotions run wild when she forgets her lucky charm locket that contains a photo of late son, Paul – and disaster strikes when she runs home to retrieve it only to find a burglar in her house.

Eventually, Bernie returns to the Bistro and walks down the aisle with Kit and as the service is about to start, the happy couple share loving looks. But then the wedding hangs in the balance as suddenly Bernie struggles to breathe and collapses in front of a shocked Dev.

As Bernie lies on the bistro floor, gasping for breath, Asha comes to her aid while Gemma calls an ambulance and Dev and the wedding guests watch helplessly. At No.5, Chesney notices the livestream has cut out just as an ambulance passes by.

Will they get to Bernie in time? At the bistro, the wedding guests survey the untouched buffet, wondering what to do, when suddenly Asha arrives and announces that Dev wants the family at the hospital.

Discussing Sir Rod’s Instagram post on Loose Women in December, Penny confessed: “I didn’t realise my husband had sent that post out until it was out. And of course, you can imagine the influx of inquiries there were.

“I most definitely was witness and victim to some of the b::llying and h2r2ssment behaviour of Gregg Wallace, and unfortunately, a lot of those involved in the production team were also witness to that, and I really feel that he used his position of power to, I believe, intimidate and cause distress to a lot of people on set.

“And it’s really unfortunate that someone like him is allowed to get away with that, and while others sort of stand by and let it happen at the same time.”

She revealed her shock at Sir Rod’s message, recalling: “I felt a little bit vindicated that something was put out there, going back to sort of that whole Me Too (movement), it’s shocking to think how many women do suffer in the hands of… (men) in a powerful position and are too afraid to speak out.

Following the BBC’s confirmation of his departure from MasterChef earlier this month, after a report which saw 45 out of 83 allegations against him upheld, Wallace declared: “For eight months, my family and I have lived under a cloud. Trial by media, fuelled by rumour and clickbait.

An Emmerdale star who has been at the centre of one of the soap’s most controversial storylines is getting set to exit the show in the coming weeks. Named after current Disney CEO Bob Iger, who began his career at ABC in 1974, “7 Hudson Square is also a testament to Disney’s commitment to NYC, its economy, and its people. The state-of-the-art building encompasses an entire city block and will be a collaborative hub for the company’s media, production, and innovation.”

“She was a 2x cnc3r thriver & the producer you wanted by your side for big interviews like when we sat down with @MichelleObama for her first interview as first lady. We celebrate Thea next.”

The tragedy comes after Robin broke down in tears as she announced that a show cameraman had d13d from coronavirus.

Tony Greer passed away last week from complications due to CVD-19.

The broadcaster went on to remember ABC cameraman as a “bright light” and someone who had a “beautiful spirit that you could feel from a mile away.”

She continued: “We loved Tony and there were so many things he loved.

“He loved his family … he loved taking his nieces, nephews – any family member who would come visit – out into the city.

“He loved his longtime girlfriend, Robin – we are thinking about her.”

While the surgery was successful (doctors removed Sheldon’s tumor, which was benign) it left Sheldon with some facial p2ralys1s and a difficult road ahead. “We went on about our lives and he would be honest to tell you he was really going through a d3pr3ssion. It was tough recovery,” Shannon said of her husband. Sheldon improved, though, and one day, while eating at Pizza Hut, the news anchor noticed that the corner of her husband’s mouth moved, giving them both hope that he would regain total control of his muscles. “From there, he slowly began to recover. And it still took a while. But thank God he’s good. No more return of that,” Shannon said of that day at the restaurant. After that scare, Shannon and Sheldon eventually got married, and the two celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary at the end of 2024.
