Although there is no recent evidence to back up the rumors, fans of the British royal family have speculated that William had an aff1r at one point with a woman named Rose Hanbury. This wasn’t the only person, though, William was rumored to have been with during his and Kate’s marriage.

William and Kate’s romance began in September 2001 after they met at the University of St. Andrews. Although they kept their relationship out of the public eye for several years, the couple had a falling out and briefly split in 2007. They reunited later that year.

The reason behind their breakup is still unknown. The couple spoke about it, though, nearly three years later during a joint interview.

“This British royal’s extramar1tal affir is an open secret in London and amongst the English artisto set and is the talk of every party and news desk [sic],” the message sent to Deux Moi read. “At a recent media party, I was told the real reason for the aff1r was the royal’s love of p3gg1ng, which the wife is far too old fashioned to engage in.”

The person then alleged that the unnamed royal family member’s wife “doesn’t mind her and, in fact, prefers her husband getting his s3xual n33ds fulfilled elsewhere as long as things don’t become emotional, which was the cast with the last woman.”

This rumor, however, was not verified.

How Did the Palace React to Prince William’s Affair Rumors?

When rumors about William’s alleged infidelity hit the headlines, the palace went into crisis mode, according to royal writer Omid Scobie. Detailed in his 2023 book, Endgame, Omid wrote that Kensington Palace “pulled out all the stops” the bury the story that William had an aff1r with Rose, even going as far as offering The Sun additional royal stories “in exchange for standing down on the rumors.”

Addressing his decision to include the aff1r speculation, Omid told Entertainment Tonight that it was “really important” to mention, “even if a rumor is a rumor.” “And I really don’t see proof that there is more to this than just a tittle-tattle, you know,” he continued.

What Have the Royals Said About Prince William’s Alleged Affair?

While the palace has remained tight-lipped about the aff1r rumors, with William, Kate and Rose all turning a blind eye, Prince Harry seemingly alluded to the palace’s efforts to keep his brother’s reputation intact. While he didn’t mention the aff1r rumors specifically, Harry said as part of his Netflix docu-series Harry & Meghan that the palace was willing to tear other royals down in order to boost the Prince of Wales’ image.

BBC News presenter Nina Warhurst has shared her heartache as she celebrated the d3ath of her father Chris at a family funeral. She revealed earlier this month that he d13d in a care home on July 2 following a lengthy battle with dementia. The 44-year-old mum-of-three took to Instagram to mark the emotional day with a series of snap of her family and friends as they marked his d3ath online.

Her younger relatives and children could be seen wearing a full Manchester United football kit while the rest of the family could be seen wearing black with pops of red to celebrate her father’s favourite football team. Alongside the carousel of snaps from the emotional day, Nina shared a lengthy caption dedicated to her late father online. She wrote: “Ah Dad. You’d have been embarrassed at all the attention. But you’d have loved the kids in the football strips.

“You’d have loved the effort people made to come from far and wide. You’d have loved that everyone called you a gentleman, and everyone had a funny story. You’d have loved that your best pal who’s a [Manchester] City fan wore a [Manchester] United scarf.

ITV’s Loose Women returned to our screens on Monday (21 July), featuring a panel consisting of Charlene White, Janet Street Porter, Katie Piper and Brenda Edwards.

The quartet tackled a variety of subjects, including the recent infidelity scandal involving Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and his Head of HR Kristin Cabot.

The pair were seen looking rather close at a Coldplay concert after being caught on the band’s kiss cam during a performance in Boston. A video clip of the incident quickly spread across social media, leading to their identification.

Brenda contended: “My man (sic) brought it all on himself, I’m sorry. He bought that on himself,” but Janet clearly disagreed, retorting: “Why should having an affir mean you can’t run a very complicated AI company?!”

Meanwhile, Katie urged viewers to wait for the complete story to emerge, stating “no one knows what goes on behind closed doors”. She emphasised the need to avoid rushing to judgement about the viral footage and to think about the families affected.

“This is the court of public opinion. We don’t know what goes on behind closed doors. We don’t know what the situation was in their marriages. We don’t know anything. We’re already making assumptions,” Katie said.

“This is somebody’s life that we’ve now turned into a meme, into a joke. But it’s not just those two people.”

The heated discussion was cut short by host Charlene, who attempted to change topics but found it difficult to silence her co-presenters as the row escalated.

Sky News was halted for a tragic breaking news announcement after a plane crshed into a school in Bangladesh. Matt Barbet interrupted the show to report: “An Air Force training jet has crshed into a school in Bangladesh, kl at least 19 people and injuring 50 more. The aircraft came down soon after take-off, crshing into a college campus in Dhaka’s northern neighbourhood of Uttara. Panicked relatives arrived soon after using rickshaws and tricycles to help transport the 1njured to h0spital.”

A statement from the military said: “Bangladesh Air Force’s F-7 BGI training aircraft crshed in Uttara. The aircraft took off at 13:06 (0706 GMT).” It has been confirmed that the location of the crsh was Milestone School and College.

Muhammad Yunus, the leader of Bangladesh’s interim government, said “necessary measures” would be taken to investigate the cause of the incident and “ensure all kinds of assistance”.

He added: “The loss suffered by the Air Force… stud3nts, parents, teachers and staff, and others in this accident is irreparable.”

Bangladeshi news outlet Prothom Alo also reported that the plane had crshed on the roof of the college canteen while stud3nts were inside. There have been over 100 people injured based on data from various hospitals, according to Daily Star.

Rafiqa Taha, a 16-year-old stud3nt who attends lestone School and College, was not present at the time of the crsh, told the Associated Press that the school has around 2,000 stud3nts, as she added: “I was terrified watching videos on TV. My God! It’s my school.”

Masud Tarik, a teacher at the school, said: “When I was picking (up) my k1ds and went to the gate, I realised something came from behind…I heard an expl0s10n. When I looked back, I only saw fire and smoke.”

A BBC Breakfast host will be stepping away from the programme for an extended period during a major overhaul of the beloved morning show. The breakfast programme airs daily from Monday through Saturday. According to reports, Naga is claimed to be back in discussions with a non BBC radio station amid ongoing controversy on the show.

An insider revealed to The Sun that Naga’s agents are presently in talks with rival station LBC about a possible career move.

The TV star who is said to “love the BBC”, might possibly be considering her options elsewhere: “Her team last week renewed talks with LBC. The Global Radio station would suit her as there’s far less of the fluffy nonsense that’s involved in working at the BBC.”

Naga and Charlie Stayt front BBC Breakfast from Thursday through Saturday morning, whilst Jon Kay and Sally Nugent lead the programme Monday to Wednesday each week, apart from when they take time off for holidays.

The BBC has recently published their pay figures, with Charlie remaining on the £190,000 salary bracket, whilst Naga has received a £10,000 boost to her income, rising from £345,000 to £355,000.

It has consistently been the situation that Naga has earned more than Charlie. Her remuneration covers 180 days of hosting BBC Breakfast, alongside her Radio 5 Live show and election reporting.

Nuria Sajjad and Selena Lau, both eight, were kl outside of their primary school in Wimbledon after a car crshed into them. Nuria’s parents Sajjad Butt and Smera Chohan joined Cat and Ben Shephard to speak about the acc1dent and their precious little girl.

As they spoke of their devastating grief, Cat, 47, struggled to hold back the tears as she looked on pensively while the heartbroken parents fought through their sadness.

Viewers were also left in tears while watching the devastating interview and took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts.

One person expressed: “F**k, I’d never thought I’d be in a flood of tears this morning. These parents deserve justice more than anything else, they really do. #ThisMorning (sic)

Ben, 49, attempted to console the parents as he said: “She was, and the briefest I’ve heard of Nuria, she was a very special and magical little girl and brought so much joy for all of you.”

Dermot said: ‘From the dance floor, to the kitchen table, newly-married potato queen! Poppy O’Toole.’

THE WNBA’S top stars including Caitlin Clark have sent a clear message to the league over their escalating pay dispute.

The two were locked in talks on Thursday over the renewal of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which runs through until the end of the 2025 season.

However, they are understood to have gone disastrously, with players left outraged over the discussions which included a salary increase.

There are now fears there may be a lockout ahead, if the players fail to agree on fresh terms for the next campaign.

They then held a meeting on Saturday morning, where they decided to wear shirts to the WNBA All-Star game the next day.

And that message was clear for all to see on the black t-shirts during the warm-ups, with writing saying ‘pay us what you owe us’.

Clark was joined by the entire 24 All-Star roster in sending the defiant statement to the league, which has been widely supported.

Washington Mystics star Brittney Sykes held up a sign that read ‘pay the players’ following the game.

Meanwhile, the crowd also roared the same three-word message at the end of the tie while WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert was talking.

All-Star captain Napheesa Collier insisted the players were taking the CBA battle “very seriously”.

“We have the most participation in league history. I think we had close to 40 players in our league meeting,” Collier said.

“I think it just sends a really strong message that we’re standing really firm on the certain areas that we feel really strongly about that we need to improve on.

It is understood the WNBA are reluctant to give the players such a high pay rise along with larger share of the revenue.

It is hoped a deal will be struck before October, but any delays could affect the following season if talks aren’t completed.

“I think the meeting was good for the fact that we could be in the same room as the league and the board of governors and that type of thing,” said New York Liberty star Breanna Stewart.

“But I think, to be frank, it was a wasted opportunity. We could have really gotten into a deeper dive of everything.

“But there was a lot of fluff that we couldn’t get past, and it sucks because situations like that aren’t gonna happen again because players are playing for different teams and different league.

“This is the only time to have a group together like this.”

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark was ruled out of the All-Star weekend through injury, but she was still there to coach and captain her side.

However her team were smashed 151-131 by Team Collier at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

“Yeah, I think for myself that was the best part of the meeting, being in the room and there’s over 40 other players in this league,” said Clark.

“I’m sure a lot more would have loved to be in there if they were in Indianapolis.

“And I think that’s the most powerful thing is all the girls from across the league just being in that room together, like she said, we should be paid more.

“And hopefully that’s the case moving forward as the league continues to grow.

“I think that’s something that’s probably the most important thing that we’re in the room advocating about.”
