BREAKING SH0CK NEWS: Loose Women fans stunned as ITV secretly Prepares to AXE the show – Announcement only a matter of Time!

Loose Women‘s Kelle Bryan stormed into the studio audience on Wednesday after being left ‘fed up’ by Jane Street-Porter as their debate took an outrageous turn.

The most recent episode of the ITV show saw Janet, 78, Kelle, 50, Coleen Nolan, 60, and Brenda Edwards, 56, return to the studio.

The Loose ladies got chatting about the latest newsworthy topics, including Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry‘s recent split.

This got them talking about getting over heartbreak, and Janet gave her very straight-talking opinion on the matter and said how she wouldn’t mope around after a break-up.

Kelle said: ‘I’m clearly on the wrong panel today… if I get my heart broken it takes me a long time to recover.

‘I’ll be sad and down, it takes me a long time to let someone in in the first place. To trust somebody.

‘It takes me a bit of time to say you’re my person, but once I’ve made that decision, you’re my person, you’re in my world.

‘If they let me down, hurt me, cheat on me, dump me, I’m devastated for a bit!’

Janet piped up and asked: ‘But Kelly, aren’t you just cross you messed up and made the wrong decision?’

A shocked Kelle said: ‘Right. I’m off. I’m going to go and sit in the audience!’

She then got the live audience members to move over so that she could take a seat.

Kelle married Jay Gudgeon in 2010 and the pair share two kids together.

The clash comes after MailOnline revealed that the show is expected to axe celebrity guests from the programme.

The star could be seen sitting with the rest of the audience as the panel continued with their discussion

According to insiders, once ITV’s budget cuts come into effect in January, Loose Women will no longer have A-list guests in the studio, and the broadcast is planned to only consist of the panel debating newsworthy topics from the week.

Now, TV sources have claimed that Loose Women is predicted to be completely cancelled within the year, as viewing figures are expected to drop once the show’s quality is reduced.

MailOnline revealed that the show will also axe their studio audience, an integral part to the programme, which caused upset among several members of the long-standing cast including Nadia Sawalha, Ruth Langsford and Coleen Nolan.

In May, ITV announced that Lorraine and Loose Women will only air for 30 weeks a year rather than 52, resulting in more than 220 of 440 staff involved losing their jobs.

A TV source revealed: ‘Not having guests is a big blow for both the presenters and viewers at home.

‘The guests are often one of the highest parts of the show, so it feels like a very strange decision to cut them altogether. Instead, the focus will be on guests for Lorraine and This Morning.

‘Behind the scenes the presenters are really upset because they love having guests on and feel they offer a different type of interview to the other daytime shows.

‘Firstly, there are four hosts conducting the conversation and secondly, they use their interviews to discuss female focused issues, something shows like This Morning don’t do as often.

‘In recent years, Loose Women have welcomed Elizabeth Hurley, Joan Collins and have down sit down one on one interviews with Janet Jackson and Naomi Campbell who all chose to do their chats with the show because they love it.

‘It’s a real shame that in January, the programme will become a shell of its former self before it is inevitably cancelled altogether.’

An ITV spokesperson added: ‘While the team is still working on the show for next year, we can assure you that Loose Women remains a big priority within our daytime slate.

‘The stars of the show are the Loose Women and that’s why they’ve received a BAFTA nomination, launched a podcast and celebrated a milestone anniversary in the last year alone.’

BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty has reportedly ‘renewed talks’ with a radio station away from the corporation amid a b::lly1ng row that has plagued the morning programme. Last month, it was revealed show boss Richard Frediani was on extended leave on the flagship show after complaints about his behaviour.

Host Munchetty was also said to not get on with him. However, many staff members came out in defence of the editor. One even told the Mirror that some staff were disappointed with Munchetty who it’s claimed raised concerns about Frediani’s management style with BBC managers.

And now, a source has claimed that the presenter ‘loves the BBC’ but is looking for a new job.

Speaking to The Sun, they said: “Her team last week renewed talks with LBC. The Global Radio station would suit her as there’s far less of the fluffy nonsense that’s involved in working at the BBC.” The Mirror have reached out to Munchetty’s reps for comment.

Meanwhile, the BBC’s annual salary was recently published and Munchetty was revealed to be earning almost double her co-host Charlie Stayt’s pay.

Stayt and Munchetty present BBC Breakfast from Thursday to Saturday morning, while Jon Kay and Sally Nugent take the helm from Monday to Wednesday.

It comes as the BBC salaries were released (Image: BBC)

Stayt, aged 63, has stayed within the £190,000 salary band, whereas Munchetty, aged 50, has enjoyed a £10,000 increase to her earnings, moving from £345,000 to £355,000.

Munchetty, who has presented on the flagship news programme since 2014, has always been paid more than Stayt. Her pay packet accounts for 180 days of presenting on BBC Breakfast, as well as her Radio 5 Live programme and election coverage.

The BBC pay comes amid a b::lly1ng row concerning the BBC Breakfast editor. Some current and former staff of the programme jumped to his defence.

One source told the Mirror: “He is not a bully at all and the truth will come out. He’s a great boss and was – and is still – overwhelmingly loved by the team, who respect his drive, expertise, and journalistic ambition. He has delivered great audiences and the first ever Bafta for breakfast TV.

“He can be brash and opinionated but works so hard for his team and allows people to flourish.”

A second source said: “Yes, he is old-school and can rub people up the wrong way but it’s always in the pursuit of great television. It’s the best-rating breakfast show in the country – it’s not supposed to be a walk in the park. Some – Naga included – need to understand this. It feels like it’s a case of presenter power turfing out a brilliant journalist.”

Co-host Stayt is also said to have a strained relationship with Frediani.

Do YOU like Charlie Brooks’ new look?

Charlie filmed her fitness DVD, Charlie Brooks’ Before & After Workout, in 2005 and has now revealed how the process effected her confidence.

Speaking with The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine in 2021, Charlie explained that she’s always had a ‘complicated relationship’ with her body and the DVD made that ‘extreme’.

Charlie said: ‘I don’t regret it, because it gave me an awareness of my body, but on the other hand, I crossed over into that kind of slightly obsessive weight loss thing.

‘You know, always wanting to get back to “that”.

‘I’ve definitely had quite a complicated relationship with my body, never feeling pretty enough or healthy enough, and with the DVD it was extreme. I went all in.’

Charlie added that she still struggles at times with accepting her figure and can feel ‘disgusting’, but is now about ’70 per cent’ of the way to b0dy acc3ptance.

In February it was revealed that Charlie had parted ways with her current boyfriend on rather more amicable terms, albeit just two months after confirming their romance.

The Dancing On Ice star was understood to be single after ending a short-lived relationship with producer James Fuller.

But he confirmed they are no longer an item while congratulating Charlie and her ice skating skills in a social media post.

Commenting on her latest performance with professional skate partner Eric Radford, he wrote: ‘Damn you guys are elegant, graceful and gorgeous! It’s a 10 for me! Can’t wait to see you skate again this Sunday!

‘You are easily the coolest, most thoughtful, wonderful, amicable ex girlfriend and current best friend that a boy could wish for.

Referring to her appearance on stage in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, he added: ‘Looking forward to a game of Rummikub with you after you have won this show and before you start Chitty!’

She ended her relationship with Tony in 2006, but the couple continued living under the same roof for more than six months after their separation.

Naga Munchetty received a hefty pay rise from BBC bosses despite being reprimanded after she was accused of b::lly1ng and hauled into a meeting over a s3x jibe.

The BBC Breakfast presenter and 5 Live host, 50, had been spoken to by execs after she made a s3x jibe during an ad break while hosting the radio show.

She is believed to have used a crud3 slang term for a s3x act and reportedly asked a colleague if they had ever done it.

It was also revealed how Naga was also spoken to after a junior staffer accused the journalist of b::lly1ng them.

However, despite the b::lly1ng and toxic row bringing a dark cloud over BBC Breakfast, it’s been revealed Naga received a pay rise.

New figures released by the broadcaster today show the presenter was awarded a £10,000 increase in her annual salary.

It now takes her pay packet to an eye-watering £355,000 – almost double that of her co-host Charlie Stayt.

Charlie, 63, has remained in the £190,000 bracket as tensions between the pair are said to be ‘rife’.

Naga hosts BBC Breakfast on Thursdays to Saturdays with Charlie, while Jon Kay and Sally Nugent anchor the programme from the start of the week.

BBC Breakfast’s editor Richard Frediani reportedly took an extended period of leave, after an internal review of b::lly1ng and misconduct allegations was opened into the show.

It was previously claimed that the show’s staff are feeling increasingly ‘uneasy’ around Frediani, with the former Head of ITV News accused of ‘shaking’ a female editor while working on the show.

Meanwhile, the Mail told how Naga has been holding discussions with Sky News and radio station LBC in an apparent bid to leave the corporation, industry sources have revealed.

In a surprise move, the presenter held talks with both broadcasters in what appears to be an attempt to escape the t0x1c atm0sphere on the programme she co-hosts three days a week with Charlie Stayt.

However, sources say the talks broke down recently, with some bosses at the networks unsure about 50-year-old Ms Munchetty’s ‘tough ways’ and deciding against continuing negotiations.

‘She is quite sharp and it is perhaps not what they were looking for, so it all kind of fell apart.

‘Rightly or wrongly, Naga has a reputation for being quite t0ugh and d1fficult at times – they didn’t like that.’

The BBC’s annual report on its top earners revealed Gary Lineker and Zoe Ball have topped the BBC rich list again this year, as the corporation acknowledged ‘challenges’ with its workplace culture.

Match of the Day host Lineker left his job in May after being accused of posting an antisemitic trope on social media.

Charlotte Hawkins BREAKS DOWN on Good Morning Britain over guest’s Trɑgic L0ss – RARE, DANGER0US 1LLNESS sparks concern among viewers!

Good Morning Britain‘s Charlotte Hawkins broke down in tears in the middle of an interview.

Tuesday’s instalment of the daily ITV show saw co-hosts Charlotte, 50, and Richard Madeley, 69, cover the top stories of the day.

During the programme, the pair interviewed Tristan, whose wife, Dr Susan Michaelis, sadly passed away from breast cnc3r.

Susan had passionately campaigned and pushed for research into lobular breast cnc3r and Tristan appeared on the show to share her story and raise further awareness.

‘You must miss her very much,’ Richard commented towards the end of the conversation.

‘I do, she was amazing,’ he replied.

Tristan added: ‘Thank you for all the women who have this disease, for giving it some airtime.’

‘Oh, it’s you that deserves the thanks,’ Richard said.

Charlotte emotionally added: ‘Thank you for coming in when this has only just happened, and you know, I know that obviously, you were supremely proud of her and everything she was doing but I know she would be so proud of you continuing this fight.’

The presenter then appeared to become tearful before adding, ‘Sorry, it’s one of those things that have affected a lot of people this morning.’

Lobular breast cnc3r is the second most common form of the disease. The tumours begin in the milk-producing glands and grow in a ‘spider’s web’ pattern.

This makes it harder to spot and more likely to be diagnosed later than the main form of breast cnc3r. Symptoms can include an inverted nipple, breast tissue thickening, a tugging sensation or a dent in the breast.

It comes after Natasha Hamilton opened up about her secret skin cnc3r battle in an emotional Good Morning Britain interview last month.

The former Atomic Kitten singer, 42, gave fans a health update as she spoke about her diagnosis of Basal-cell carcinoma -which she received last year – with hosts Kate Garraway, 58, and Robert Rinder, 47.

Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is a type of non-melanoma skin cnc3r. Non-melanoma means it does not involve skin pigment cells.

Kate pointed out: ‘I was saying thankfully because we want to establish that you are now fine. You’re cnc3r free and all is good, but you’re a living health warning in a way.’

Natasha said: ‘I am. Now I have to be really vigilant, I have to check my skin all the time.

‘Since then I’ve had a few things appear where I’ve had to go back to the dermatologist, they’re on the ‘watch list’.

‘This is probably something I am going to have to keep an eye for the rest of my life.’

Harry Potter star Miriam Margolyes has criticised the trnsgender community for reacting with ‘fury’ to JK Rowling‘s views on g3nder id3nt1ty – despite insisting she does not fully agree with the author’s stance.

Miriam, 84, who played Professor Sprout in the blockbuster wizarding franchise, said she believed some of Rowling’s opinions on the ‘trns issue’ were ‘too harsh’, but expressed dismay at the vehement backlash Rowling has received in recent years.

Rowling, 59, has faced intense cr1tic1sm from LGBTQ+ activists and several stars of the Harry Potter films, including Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, after publicly expressing concerns about gender ideology and single-sex spaces.

She has said she supports trns rights but also believes that a woman should be defined by biological sex – a view upheld by the UK Supreme Court earlier this year – and campaigns to protect women-only spaces.

Her comments have been branded trnsphobic by some campaigners.

Miriam, who is g2y and an outspoken LGBTQ rights advocate, said she supports trns people but feels the community should be kinder to its critics.

‘I’ve never met [Rowling], and I’ve never discussed this with her,’ Miriam said.

The actress, who was made an OBE in 2002 for her services to drama and is known for her unfiltered charm and candid interviews, acknowledged that trns people are often ‘very oppressed’ and praised those she’s met as ‘absolutely adorable, gorgeous and brave’.

But she echoed Rowling’s view that women can feel fearful or uncomfortable around biological men – regardless of their g3nder id3nt1ty – in female-only spaces.

‘Women get scared if they’re in a situation where somebody with a p3n1s could rape them, whether they’re straight or g2y or whatever,’ she said.

‘And I think it’s a bit unrealistic of blokes who are on the journey from one side to the other not to realise that. You’ve got to realise women get scared. We’re the ones that get attck3d and r2p3d more than blokes do.’

Miriam also weighed in on the increasingly heated debate around trns participation in women’s sport, saying: ‘I don’t think that people who have a man’s body should be playing sports with people who have a woman’s body. I just don’t think it’s fair. There should be another category.’

While reaffirming her support for trns rights, she suggested the discussion has become overly polarised and called for more nuance.

‘We’re not binary. We’re not two boxes. There should be many more boxes and we can pop ourselves into them if we want or not. But we shouldn’t be nasty to people who don’t fit in the same box as us,’ she said.

Her remarks come after years of public infighting among Harry Potter alumni over Rowling’s position.

While Daniel and Emma have publicly distanced themselves from the author and spoken in support of trns people, some co-stars including Ralph Fiennes and Helena Bonham Carter have defended Rowling’s right to express her views.

Miriam has previously said she supports her Harry Potter castmates’ right to speak up, adding in 2022 that while she didn’t share Rowling’s perspective, the cr1tic1sm against the author had been ‘misplaced’.

In the new podcast interview this week, she added that being b::ll13d is something she cannot tolerate – whether in politics or public debate.

‘That’s one thing I will not have – being b:ll13d,’ she said. ‘We’ve got to nourish love. There’s not a lot of love about, which is a pity.’

Earlier this month Tom Felton continued to show his support for JK Rowling as he attended the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child 10 year theatre celebration in Hamburg.

The actor, 37, who played Draco Malfoy in the original films from 2001 until 2011, recently revealed he will be reprising his role for the Broadway show.

In stark contrast to his co-stars EmmaDaniel and Rupert Grint who have turned their back on Rowling due to her controversial views on trns rights, Tom has been vocal in his support for the author.

Rowling has been very vocal on the subject of trns people for several years and following the Supreme Court‘s judgment on April 17, the author has consistently referred to trnsgender women as being ‘men’.

However while his co-stars have turned frosty against her, more than two decades after Rowling helped give him his big break, Tom doubled down on his support for the franchise’s author, insisting he is ‘grateful’ for what she has done for him.

During his appearance at the Tony Awards last month, Tom was asked if the controversy around the writer’s views on trns rights affected his work.

He replied: ‘No, I can’t say it does. I’m not really that attuned. The only thing I always remind myself is that I’ve been lucky enough to travel the world.

‘Here I am in New York. And I have not seen anything bring the world together more than Potter, and she’s responsible for that. So I’m incredibly grateful.’

In April, Rowling insisted she would never forgive the younger stars of the film franchise for speaking out against her views on trns rights.

Responding to a tweet that asked whether the likes of Daniel and Emma would apologise to the author, ‘safe in the knowledge that you will forgive them’, she said: ‘Not safe, I’m afraid.’

‘Celebs who cosied up to a movement intent on eroding women’s hard-won rights and who used their platforms to cheer on the trnsitioning of m1n0rs can save their apologies for traumatised detrnsitioners and vulnerable women reliant on single sex spaces,’ the writer added.

Tom also previously expressed his excitement about joining the upcoming Broadway production.

He told Variety: ‘I think we all thought the wizarding world would slowly… that the fandom flame might douse over the years, but clearly it’s not.’

‘I think the most exciting part is to do it live. It took nine months, more or less, to shoot a film. And this is all compact. This is all reimagined into a very lovely new, tight story. And I get to be a dad, which has been fun.’

Tom will join the cast in November and star in the show for 19 weeks, concluding his run in March 2026.

Previously hitting back at accusations he was ungrateful for his success, Radcliffe insisted he doesn’t owe her ‘the things he truly believes’, while Watson said trnsgender people deserved to ‘live their lives without being constantly questioned, with Grint also echoing her sentiments.

Meanwhile other stars have expressed their horror over Rowling’s treatment, with Robbie Coltrane insisting nothing she said was ‘offensive’ in 2020, while Ralph Fiennes said he couldn’t understand the ‘v1tr10l’ directed at her in 2021, and in 2022, Helena Bonham Carter argued Rowling had been ‘hounded’ and was entitled to her opinion.

AFTER 9 Seasons of Channel 4’s “Escape To The Chateau” – Dick And Angel’s Secret Garden is FINALLY REVEALED – Leaving Fans Stunned Again and Again!

A stunning part of Escape To The Chateau stars Dick and Angel Strawbridge‘s sprawling estate we never saw on the Channel 4 show has been revealed.

The reality show, which ran from 2016 to 2022, followed the British couple as they bought and renovated a 19th-century French chateau.

The pair juggled doing up the manor in north-west France with raising two young children and running a wedding and event planning business.

After a whopping nine series of the programme, the Strawbridges started a weekly podcast in 2023 called Dick & Angel’s CHAT…EAU, providing chateau life updates.

But despite the wealth of content out there about their home life, there is one aspect of Chateau de la Motte-Husson we have never been privy to.

A recent snap the family posted to social media shows off their gorgeous, tucked-away vegetable garden, surrounded by lush trees and climbing plants.

In the Instagram post, Dick, 65, was seen walking alongside the abundant beds with his children Arthur, 13, and Dorothy, 11.

The youngsters were helping their father pick the homegrown produce, with stunning views of the turreted property behind them.

The secluded part of the chateau’s sprawling 12-acre grounds is located close to the main house, presumably to provide easy access to the kitchen garden.

But it is seemingly surrounded by tall brick walls and shaded by lofty trees, perhaps explaining why viewers have not seen so much of this part of the property before.

It is a beautiful outdoor space, with a charming arched entryway, neat and tidy planters and walkways lined by gorgeous flowers and shrubbery.

As well as the walled garden, the family’s land boasts an enormous barn, lots of outdoor seating and a huge private lake.

It looks just as good in winter as in summer, with another postcard-perfect snap shared by the family, in November last year, showing it covered in glittering frost.

But despite the looks of their idyllic lifestyle abroad, all has not been plain sailing at the chateau in recent times.

In March, Channel 4 revealed there would be an Escape To The Chateau spin-off – and the pair are not involved in any capacity.

Dick and Angel took to Instagram shortly after the news broke to share a snap of one of their house designs – opting not to address the new show at all.

They wrote: ‘A very good morning to you! We’re busy…lots of changes and lots of activity at the Chateau! Any guesses?

‘To keep up to date with what’s happening in our world, sign up to our newsletter! Link in bio! Have a terrific Tuesday! Xxx.’

But while they remained silent on the programme, some rushed to the comments section to urge Dick and Angel to create another series of their original show.

One wrote: ‘We definitely need a new series! Please.’

Another added: ‘We’re gunna need more episodes.’

‘We need to have a new series to find out!,’ a third pointed out.

A man’s partner tragically passed away following a Brazilian bum lift and now he has been left to raise their five daughters.

Wednesday’s episode of This Morning saw co-hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard interview people who have experienced issues with the procedure.

A non-surgical BBL involves injecting filler into the buttocks and has recently grown in popularity.

One of the guests included Dane Knight, who’s partner, Alice, d13d in August 2024.

He revealed how he didn’t know Alice was even having the procedure and thought she was enjoying a day out.

‘I didn’t know she was getting the procedure done, obviously when we got the phone call I didn’t know what the issue was from the hospital, it was more get there and then find out the current situation,’ Dane explained.

‘Prior to that, going back off the information, we talked about the procedures, as far as we were concerned, the information that was available at that date and time it was deemed as safe,’ he added.

‘Now I’ve learnt that it’s not.’

Dane shared he felt Alice didn’t actually understand the risks because it was ‘deemed as safe’.

The couple have five daughters together and Cat asked if Alice had been aware of the possible risks, would she have gone ahead with the procedure.

‘No way Cat she wouldn’t of, no chance,’ Dane said.

Cat and Ben had discussed the risks of similar procedures with Health Secretary Wes Streeting on Tuesday’s episode and notified him of Dane and Alice’s situation.

On the show, Wes said: ‘In the coming days and weeks we’re going to be setting out the regulations.

‘Over in the next week or so you should hear from the government about what we’re going to do to clamp down on cosmetic cowboys here at home, when it comes to overseas it’s more complicated…’

‘Just hearing Dane speaking there and the thought of five children being left behind because they’ve lost their mother in these circumstances, that motivates me to act and I hope for people watching as well, it’s just the worst possible reminder,’ he added.

Dane commented that the Health Secretary’s comments and plans were ‘comforting’ but that he hoped to see ‘action’.

‘Something needs to be put in place sooner, rather than later, before this happens to another family,’ he said.

Save Face director Ashton Collins also featured on Wednesday’s instalment and said: ‘In our view, Alice’s d3ath should never have been allowed to happen. We warned the government in 2023 that this was crisis waiting to happen.

‘We said without action, lives would be lost and we are just hopeful that they will do something before anyone else has to pay the ultimate sacrifice at the hands of these unscrupulous people.’

Dane replied: ‘Girls are going strong, they’re a credit to Alice. Obviously the damage is still showing and it’s ongoing especially with the ongoing police investigation so we can’t put it rest and get that grief process started because it just kicks back up again so it’s just an ongoing nightmare.

‘It’s hard enough becoming a single parent, to losing someone but all these bits together is just unreal.’

“I Had to LIVE Inside her DELUSIONS” – Martin Frizell’s Heartbreaking Confession about life with GMTV Star Fiona Phillips as Alzhe1m3r ’s Turns Loved Ones Into Strangers and the D3ad Into the Living – Moving audiences to Tears!

Fiona Phillips’ husband Martin Frizell has revealed what you shouldn’t do to those with Alzhe1m3r ‘s as he offered advice to families battling the disease.

Former GMTV host Fiona, 64, who is mother to Nathaniel, 26, and Mackenzie, 23, was diagnosed with the progressive brain disorder in 2022 at the age of just 61.

The former ITV boss has shared the huge lesson he has learnt from caring for Fiona over the past few years – to never say no.

In the last chapter of Fiona’s upcoming memoir Remember When: My Life With Alzhe1m3r ‘s, Martin says it is better to improvise with Fiona’s delusion than cause her extra distress by arguing against it.

It is something he has had to learn and has been sticking to after Fiona recently became obsessed with the belief Martin was a k1dnapp3r holding her hostage.

Instead of continuously denying the thought, Martin plays along and pretends to walk her back home to her late parents – but is really just walking around the block, which he feels is the kindest way to handle the situation.

Martin writes: ‘The textbooks say to never argue with a dementia patient, although even without the illness you could never win an argument with Fiona, so we play along.

‘Sometimes Mackenzie has to fetch her electric-blue Whistles coat – one of the very few items of clothing this once-stylish woman now insists on wearing, despite having a room full of outfits – and then Fiona and I leave the house as if I am taking her home.

‘Fiona and I leave the house as if I am taking her home. We walk around the block as she loudly proclaims, “I’ll never forgive you for tricking me”, and passers-by stare; then we are back home again, where she goes in and greets Mackenzie as if she hasn’t seen him for days.

‘She has forgotten about her mum and dad and is happy to sit down.’

He adds: ‘It feels as though I have read a million books and online articles about how best to cope with a partner with Alzhe1m3r ’s. Some of the advice I agree with – but other bits I’m not so sure about.

‘I think you just have to trust your instinct and deal with whatever is thrown at you as best you can in that moment.

‘By trying to live up to being the perfect Alzhe1m3r ’s partner, you are just heaping even more pressure on yourself when there is already so much. And every day is different.’

Martin also shared how the broadcaster became ‘terribly d1str3ssed’ when she could not recognise their eldest son Nat.

In an extract published in The Mirror he penned: ‘One weekend, Nat was home from the Army and making tea in the kitchen while Fiona and I sat watching television’.

‘She became terribly d1str3ssed. “Who’s that man in the kitchen?” she asked me. “That’s Nat”  I said gently. “Our son. He’s home for the weekend”. She was in such a state that she didn’t even seem upset that she had asked the question’.

Martin said that Nat would have been ‘devastated’ to hear his mother being unable to recognise him, but thankfully he did not.

Fiona first met Martin when she was working on GMTV as a presenter and he was its chief correspondent.

He later popped the question after they had been dating for just four weeks, before they went to Las Vegas to tie the knot in 1997.

Last year, he revealed he was stepping down as editor of ITV’s This Morning after 10 years in charge, in order to be ‘around much more’ for his wife during her Alzh3imer’s battle.

Having turned his back on his prolific job, in his own candid words, Martin revealed Fiona now needs ‘a lot of help’, with his care extending to showering Fiona, brushing her teeth, dressing her and ultimately ‘making her feel as safe as possible’.

He explained: ‘It is January 2025 as I write this, and Fiona needs a lot of help. She needs help showering and brushing her teeth. She can do these things physically, but is unable now to think about how she should do them…

‘I wash Fiona’s hair because she wouldn’t know what shampoo or conditioner to use or how wet her hair needs to be or that she must rinse the soap suds out afterwards…

BREAKING NEWS: MasterChef ENTERS a New Era – BBC Set to UNVEIL 2 Big-Name REPLACEMENTS for John Torode and Gregg Wallace!

Great British Menu star Andi Oliver has been revealed as the favourite replacement MasterChef host after the BBC sacked John Torode for ‘using an extr3mely 0ff3nsive rac1st term’.

The Australian chef, 59, was axed from the cooking competition in an announcement from the broadcaster on Tuesday afternoon.

It came after a report into a series of allegations of inappropriate behaviour by his co-star Gregg Wallace, 60, which saw him sacked as a presenter this month.

The investigation also found John had once used an ‘extr3mely 0ff3nsive rac1st term’, allegedly during some drinks after filming.

John posted to Instagram on Tuesday evening to say he had ‘no recollection’ of the incident and did not believe it had happened.

But in the wake of both the co-hosts’ disgrace, Gogglebox star Andi Oliver, 62, has emerged as the bookies’ favourite to replace them.

Bookies at What Are The Odds have said her chances stand at 5/2, or 28.6 per cent, boosted by her ‘warmth and culinary credibility’.

The chef is also helped, they said, by her ‘vibrant energy and authority’ on Great British Menu, which she has variously judged and presented since 2016.

She would make history as the first black woman to present MasterChef if she were to be given the top job.

But Andi, who is a regular on Celebrity Gogglebox with her daughter, presenter Miquita Oliver, 41, has some competition.

Close behind her is celebrity chef Tom Kerridge, 51, who has been rated at 3/1, or 25 per cent, for his ‘accessible cooking style’, ‘likeable media persona’ and ‘devoted following’.

‘With multiple restaurants, several BBC series, and a reputation for combining fine dining with everyday appeal, Kerridge is seen as a strong fit for MasterChef’s evolving audience’, the bookies added.

What Are The Odds analyst Dave James said: ‘Andi Oliver remains the market leader but Tom Kerridge is attracting a lot of support.

‘His profile is huge and he’s one of the most trusted names in British food. This could come down to what direction the BBC wants – prestige, relatability, or a bit of both.’

Other names which could make the cut include Poppy O’Toole, 29, a Michelin-trained chef who has skyrocketed to fame on social media as the ‘Potato Queen’.

At 4/1 or 20 per cent, she is followed by chef Angela Hartnett, 56, at 5/1 (16.7 per cent) and Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain, 40, on 6/1 or 14.3 per cent.

Stars rated below them range from TV chefs James Martin, Nigella Lawson and Marcus Wareing, to food critic Grace Dent.

Even John’s wife and fellow TV chef Lisa Faulkner, 53, still makes the top ten, at 14/1 or 6.7 per cent, despite his recent sacking.

It comes after John was left ‘heartbroken’ by discovering he had been dropped from MasterChef online.

A source told The Sun: ‘He read about it on the BBC News website.

‘Obviously he’s heartbroken. He feels he’s been made a scapegoat off the back of the Gregg Wallace report.’

Just after the news broke, the chef released a statement confirming he had not ‘heard from anyone at the BBC’ or the show’s production company Banijay UK.

His agent was reportedly called just 11 minutes before the BBC’s announcement – and so ‘hadn’t a chance to call him’ before word got out.

In a statement on Tuesday afternoon, the BBC said it does not ‘tolerate rac1st language of any kind’ and that it takes the finding ‘extremely seriously’.

The move came after BBC director-general Tim Davie notably failed to back Torode and said he ‘expects action to be taken’ following the rac1sm allegations.

He delivered the remarks as the BBC released its annual report – an occasion overshadowed by controversies for the second year in a row.

A witness of the moment at issue in John’s sacking claimed he apologised instantly for using the term as he ‘was mortified’ and he ‘didn’t use the term as a slur’.

No one complained at the time but the incident was brought up during Gregg’s inquiry, they added.

A BBC spokesperson said: ‘John Torode has identified himself as having an upheld allegation of using rac1st language against him.

‘This allegation – which involves an extr3mely 0ff3nsive rac1st term being used in the workplace – was investigated and substantiated by the independent investigation led by the law firm, Lewis Silkin. John Torode denies the allegation.

‘He has stated he has no recollection of the alleged incident and does not believe that it happened.

‘He also says that any rac1al language is wholly unacceptable in any environment.

‘The BBC takes this upheld finding extremely seriously. We will not tolerate rac1st language of any kind and, as we have already said, we told Banijay UK, the makers of MasterChef, that action must be taken.

‘John Torode’s contract on MasterChef will not be renewed.’

Banijay UK has also now said it has decided not to renew his contract.

ITV are standing by under fire John, with sources at the channel telling MailOnline it will continue to broadcast John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen as scheduled on Saturday.

The much-loved cookery show, which launched in 2019, features John, 59, and his wife Lisa as they showcase their favourite recipes.

An ITV source said: ‘There is no change to the ITV schedule and John and Lisa’s Weekends will be broadcast as usual and will continue to air for the next three weeks.’

It means the third episode of the tenth series of the show will be broadcast on ITV1 at 11.40am on Saturday.

There are also plans for the broadcaster to welcome John back later in the year with John & Lisa’s Christmas Kitchen in December.

Meanwhile, BBC director general Mr Davie has insisted MasterChef can still prosper despite the loss of Gregg and John.

He said: ‘The BBC in some ways are quite simple on this, if someone is found to not live up to our values we expect the independent company, Banijay in this case, to take action and report back to us on what they have done.

‘These are not BBC employees, but we absolutely expect action to be taken.’

The director general added: ‘I think it’s a great programme that’s well loved by audiences and is much bigger than individuals.

‘It absolutely can survive and prosper, but we’ve got to make sure we’re in the right place in terms of the culture of the show.’

A Banijay spokesperson said: ‘In response to John Torode’s statement, it is important to stress that Banijay UK takes this matter incredibly seriously.

‘The legal team at Lewis Silkin that investigated the allegations relating to Gregg Wallace also substantiated an accusation of highly offensive rac1st language against John Torode which occurred in 2018.

‘This matter has been formally discussed with John Torode by Banijay UK, and whilst we note that John says he does not recall the incident, Lewis Silkin have upheld the very serious complaint. Banijay UK and the BBC are agreed that we will not renew his contract on MasterChef.’

John is said to have been the subject of multiple allegations before only one – relating to ‘rac1st language’ – was upheld, The Telegraph has reported.

It comes after his co-star Gregg hit out at the BBC after a probe upheld more than half of the complaints of inappropriate behaviour against him as he warned he ‘won’t be the last’ to be cancelled.

The report into Gregg’s behaviour on the cooking show upheld 45 out of 83 complaints made, including one count of ‘unwanted physical contact’, leaving the BBC to admit it ‘could and should have’ acted sooner on the MasterChef host.

The damning investigation also found two complaints about the behaviour of ‘other people’ – including John – were upheld.

While apologising for any ‘distress’ he caused, Gregg took aim at the MasterChef broadcaster, which he claims valued ‘protecting its legacy’ over ‘protecting people’.

Warning it was ‘dangerous’ to be a ‘working-class man with a direct manner’ in the world of broadcasting, he said he ‘won’t be the last’ to face cancellation.

The presenter said: ‘In the end, the BBC left me exposed to trial by media and the damage it leaves in its wake.

‘To those who’ve shown kindness, thank you. It mattered. This has been brutal.

‘For a working-class man with a direct manner, modern broadcasting has become a dangerous place. I was the headline this time. But I won’t be the last.

‘There will be more casualties if the BBC continues down this path, where protecting its legacy matters more than protecting people.

‘For my part, with full legal support, I will consider my next move.’

Lorraine Kelly, 65, took a swipe at Gregg following the scandal and his statements on her ITV show yesterday.

The TV presenter said: ‘Gregg Wallace has released a statement, many statements. He’s tried to get ahead of this a lot and he’s said many, in my opinion, inappropriate things.

‘It’s just quite strange because he has a little boy who has autism as well – I find that bizarre, I find that very strange.

‘What’s interesting though is those around him who enabled him to be like that.’

Meanwhile, the chairman of the BBC has admitted there are powerful individuals still making life ‘unbearable’ for colleagues after a slew of people were sacked from the corporation.

Samir Shah spoke out as MasterChef was plunged into crisis on Monday night when it emerged John had an allegation of misconduct upheld before he was sacked the next day.

It followed the release of the corporation’s annual report which revealed former Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker – who left his job in May after being accused of posting an ‘antisemitic trope’ on social media – topped the list for the eighth year running.

On Tuesday evening, it was announced Mr Torode (left) had been sacked from the show after a report into his co-host Gregg Wallace (right) found he had used an ‘extr3mely 0ff3nsive rac1st term’

Speaking as the report was released, Mr Shah admitted there had been a ‘string of revelations’ about abuses of power at the BBC over the past year.

He said: ‘Our staff are dedicated, hardworking and treat each other with respect.

‘However, there are pockets in the organisation where this is not the case. There are still places where powerful individuals – on and off-screen – can abuse that power to make life for their colleagues unbearable.’

He added there had been dismissals following a review, which came out in April, but stopped short of identifying those who were sacked.

Elsewhere, it a source told The Sun that the BBC and production company Banijay had asked John to resign from MasterChef and blame his mental health after the accusation of misconduct were made public.

However, John reportedly refused to quit when urged to stand down over the weekend and was instead sacked on Tuesday.
