Stephanopoulos has been rumored to be on his way out, according to multiple network sources, since ABC News parent Disney agreed to settle a defamation suit in December over the anchor insisting on the air that Trump was “found liable for rape” — instead of sexual abuse — in a lawsuit by journalist E. Jean Carroll.
As part of Disney’s deal with Trump, the former Democratic operative — who co-hosts “GMA” with Robin Roberts and Michael Strahan — was forced to issue an apology.

ABC News sources are buzzing that George Stephanopoulos could exit his high-profile gig as co-host of “Good Morning America” following ABC’s legal settlement with Trump.ABC
The whole episode has turned out to be “emasculating” for the “This Week” host, who has isolated himself even more than usual since the settlement, a source with knowledge told The Post.
“George seems miserable,” the source said, musing that the network could wait to pull the plug on him this summer when things are “dead” or later in the year.
“He’s definitely gone,” the insider predicted. “He’s a dead man walking for sure.”
Multiple sources added that he could remain at the network in a lower-profile way, possibly working on film and TV projects.
But another source close to the network shot down talk that Stephanopoulos is miserable at “GMA.”
“This is nonsense, anyone watching ‘GMA’ can see he’s engaged, all in, and as committed as ever.” the source said, adding, “He’s happy to be here.”

A rep for Stephanopoulos did not comment.
The network is shelling out around $75 million annually for Roberts, Strahan and Stephanopoulos, a massive sum considering TV audiences are shrinking and the importance of morning shows has waned.
Roberts could flex her significant influence at the network should an anchor seat open up. She is expected to push good pal and “GMA” weekend anchor Gio Benitez for the role, multiple sources who work at the network told The Post.

Benitez recently posted a photo to his Instagram account that showed him and his husband smiling alongside Roberts and her spouse, Amber Laign, as they attended a movie premiere about singer Gloria Gaynor. Roberts is an executive producer of the biopic.

Another name that has surfaced is Will Reeve — the hunky ABC News correspondent and son of late “Superman” star Christopher Reeve.

“If you could put Superman on ‘GMA’ wouldn’t you?” the second source said.
NBC’s Willie Geist, who hosts “Sunday Today,” has also been swept into the rumor mill.
One of the insiders added that ABC could also opt to just stick with Roberts and Strahan — and tap “more of a newsreader” type with a modest salary to fill out the morning team.
An ABC News rep declined to comment.
Disney recently reupped Stephanopoulos’ contract, but that may not be an impediment to moving him out of “GMA.”
“It’s the Disney way,” said a longtime former Disney exec. “They re-sign your contract, then they move you out.”
“GMA,” the perennial mornings ratings champion, has been in a slump, trailing NBC’s “Today” in viewership since the fall.

In Morgan and Pilgrims’ place, a source speculated that executives might hire new hosts or consider bringing in its big talent by tapping Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan and George Stephanopoulos.
The network declined to officially comment on Morgan and Pilgrims’ futures.
“What we have said from the beginning is that we are unifying all day parts under the GMA umbrella and team and that includes seeing all members of the extended GMA family in the third hour,” a spokesperson told The Post Tuesday.

In a series of surprising moves, the network has already sent shockwaves throughout the industry over the last month.

The news that Cruz and Romeo blocked their older sibling follows Cruz’s many pointed digs towards Brooklyn on social media last month.
Meanwhile, Brooklyn and Romeo have been living a somewhat fractious relationship over the last few months following claims Romeo’s ex-girlfriend Kim Turnbull was the reason behind their rift.
Kim addressed the speculation June 16 and insisted she has only ever had a friendship with the eldest Beckham son.
Sharing a statement on her Instagram page, she said: ‘I’ve avoided speaking on this topic to prevent adding fuel to the fire, however it’s come to a point where I feel the need to address it so I can move on.
‘I will not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative.
‘I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question.
‘Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16. I would like to remove myself from the ongoing conversation & set the record straight for the sake of everyone involved.’
Kim had been at the centre of the row after Nicola claimed that she felt uncomfortable around her, with sources close to the US heiress saying that Kim had dated Brooklyn when they were teenagers. Which she had now denied.

Brooklyn’s birthday tribute to Harper marks his first public interaction with his family since he paid tribute to his grandmother Sandra on 26 June, despite remaining silent and shunning his father’s 50th birthday earlier the same month.
Earlier on Thursday, the family matriarch Victoria and her son Romeo were the first members of the Beckham family to share tributes to daughter Harper as she celebrated her 14th birthday while Brooklyn later followed suit.
In a statement to the alleged friction, Brooklyn and his wife Nicola – who shared the same post – left his parents out of the post, despite the image being taken at Victoria’s Paris Fashion Week show in September.
Harper’s big day was at risk of widening the rift between David and Victoria and their eldest son, had he not reached out and put differences aside. His post came shortly before David then wished Harper a happy birthday.
Sources close to the family have told MailOnline of their fears that Brooklyn and his wife Nicola have also distanced themselves from Harper after they failed to visit her when they flew into London in May to film an advert for French-Italian clothing brand Moncler just over a mile from the family home in Holland Park.
In her own tribute to her daughter, fashion designer, 51, took to Instagram and shared several snaps of her youngest taken over the years, in a move which further showcased Brooklyn’s absence following rumoured fall-out over his actress wife.
Alongside the her post, Victoria wrote: ‘Happy birthday to my world!! You are my everything and I’m so proud of the strong, confident, kind and talented young lady you are becoming.

Is this feud repairable?
David and Victoria had no idea whether Brooklyn, who Harper has idolised since she was a little girl, would message her privately or publicly on Instagram because they have no communication with him.
It comes as tensions have continued to bubble in the past few weeks with a series of digs and jibes from camp Nicola and Brooklyn.
On Wednesday aspiring chef Brooklyn shared a cooking video accompanied by a song which referred to not feeling like he has the confidence to speak up and finally feeling empowered – in a seemingly subtle but defiant message.
And on the same day Nicola made a bizarre nod to father-in-law David as she sported a replica pair of the iconic football shorts he wore for his England debut in the 90s while out on her family’s superyacht.
She was also keen to flaunt her close family bonds during the holiday to St Tropez as she shared gushing Instagram posts about her brothers on Monday.
Nicola continued to publicly praise and share admiration for her billionaire family on social media amid her husband’s family feud.
The actress took to Instagram to share a series of photographs in which she gushed over her billionaire father Nelson Peltz and joked that her Labubu dolls were her family.
That came after she and Brooklyn shared photographs of themselves on social media attending Nelson’s family birthday celebrations – painfully echoing the very similar celebrations they chose to snub for David’s own recent birthday.

And amid the escalating feud last week Romeo stepped in as he shared a very pointed statement about ‘appreciating people that love you’ and insisted ‘life was too short’ to not tell people you care about them.
While Nicola revels in her happy life with her family, Brooklyn risks ruining his ‘close bond’ with sister Harper by overshadowing her birthday.
Should Brooklyn not message, friends of the Beckhams predict that it will be a ‘huge moment’ in the feud, which escalated when the couple didn’t attend any of David’s 50th celebrations which took place between the end of March and the beginning of May.
One source said: ‘Brooklyn and Harper used to be inseparable. He adored her, he hopefully still does, but the problem is that Brooklyn has a track record for ignoring family birthdays now.
‘It would be devastating for Harper not to hear from him. She hasn’t done anything and she’s only 13-years-old, she is the innocent party here.
‘Harper’s birthday has always been such a happy day, she’s the adored little daughter so it’s always so joyous but this is a tough situation.
‘Brooklyn was 12 when Harper was born, he was so important in her life and it must be terribly sad that she isn’t seeing him since the fall out with David and Victoria happened.
‘David and Victoria very much blame Nicola for all of this but hopefully Brooklyn will see sense.

But now the couple, who married in April 2022 at her family’s £76million Florida mansion, no longer speak to Sir David and Lady Beckham, with the couple believing that she controls Brooklyn.
Posh and Becks were furious when the couple didn’t contact Harper when they visited London just weeks after David’s birthday.
At the time they were also cross that they didn’t get in touch with Cruz, 19, either because at that point he and Brooklyn had never had a crossed word.
Since then the singer has very much come out on his parents’ side amid the rift.
Despite ignoring his father’s birthday and his mum Victoria’s two weeks before in April, Brooklyn did take to Instagram to wish the footballer’s mum Sandra a happy birthday two weeks ago.

Last week, Nicola addressed speculation that she was ‘controlling’ Brooklyn after posting snaps with her family and Brooklyn celebrating her father Nelson’s 83rd birthday on the European getaway.
The celebratory photos were the latest blow for David and Victoria, after Brooklyn snubbed his own dad’s 50th birthday – with many flooding the comment section to accuse Nicola of being to blame.
Yet she hit back by ‘liking’ a fan’s comment that suggested Brooklyn had made his own decision.
The comment read: ‘The fact people are in this comment section talking bs about someone controlling a GROWN man is absurd. The guy is an adult and can make his own decisions, leave them be and stop blaming women for everything.’

Rumours of a rift between the eldest son and his parents began when Brooklyn was noticeably silent on his former Spice Girl mother’s birthday, a far cry from his usual sweet posts about her.
Neither the former photographer nor his wife wished Victoria a happy 51st, while David, Romeo and Cruz posted gushing messages.
And as well as snubbing dad David’s birthday online, he also was notably absent from all of his 50th birthday celebrations – including a boys’ fishing trip.
Despite flying to London at the time, Brooklyn and Nicola also didn’t attend the big family party at the Beckhams’ Cotswolds home or an idyllic trip to France or a meal at Notting Hill restaurant, Core.

Emmerdale star Dominic Brunt has shared that new v1lla1n Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) is one of soap’s “best badd1es.”
Celia, who is a farmer working on land near Butlers Farm, wasted no time in taunting Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) about her fines in her introductory scenes.
Celia showed up at Moira’s and offered to rent two of her fields for much less than they’re worth, but Moira turned down her proposal despite needing the money. However, it was clear that Celia meant business and that the two landowners would come to blows again in the future.
Soon enough, Celia’s true v1lla1nous ways were exposed when she had a run-in with vet Paddy Dingle (Brunt) after he was br::u::tally attcked by one of her guard dogs. Paddy went to confront the no-nonsense farmer over the ordeal, but it ended in disaster when Celia mocked him and thr3atened to call the p0lice.

Talking to What To Watch and other media, Dominic told us that Celia is one of the best v1lla1ns that soaps have seen in a “long time.” He said: “She’s one of the best badd1es that soaps have seen in a good long time.”
Dominic also revealed how Celia is a classic Emmerdale v1lla1n like the iconic Kim Tate (Claire King). “I don’t think anybody’s come across anyone like Celia before! She’s brilliant. She’s a true badd1e,” he shared.
“And in the same way that classic badd1es, like Kim Tate, for example, actually enjoy being a badd1e, the reason they are a v1lla1n is because they enjoy being a v1lla1n, not because they have any choice, but they enjoy it.
“She really likes toying with people. She’s got nothing to lose. She’s in her own space and time, and she’s in charge, and you’ll never get one past her.”

She spoke exclusively to The Sun and said: “The teacher asked us, ‘What do you want to be when you’re older?’ Children were saying ‘a fireman’ or ‘a nurse’, and I said, ‘I want to be in Coronation Street’.
“I remember all the teachers were amused, they couldn’t believe it. I watched it religiously.”

In an announcement made on July 2, the HCC revealed Robin and her GMA co-anchor George Stephanopoulos were both chosen to receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2026. And if that wasn’t enough, GMA‘s social team had to share the excitement about it in an Instagram post the same day.
“Our very own @robinrobertsgma and @gstephanopoulos are set to receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! ⭐️,” the caption read. “They’re joining @michaelstrahan who received a star in 2023. Robin and George will be part of the new 2026 class of 35 entertainment professionals selected to receive stars by the Hollywood Walk of Fame Selection Committee. Congratulations to all!”
As fans learned of Robin’s unexpected career update, they were beside themselves about this incredible moment for her.

And speaking to The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine, Chris hit back at accusations their relationship is fake, as he admitted: ‘I’ve had more people call me ‘g2y’ in the last two months of my life than ever before. But it doesn’t bother me – as long as people aren’t nasty, opinions are fine.’
He revealed even he was surprised by the turn of events, and after a string of public relationships, he began to wonder whether there was anyone out there for him.

He explained: ‘Then meeting Joelle gave me this magical feeling. She is the most precious person….I’m obsessed with her. I’d do anything for her.’
The star confessed the 10-year age gap doesn’t phase him as you can’t help who you fall in love with.
And while it has only been a matter of months Chris can already see the relationship going the full way and believes it is forever.
Discussing the prospect of marriage after confessing they both say ‘I love you’ every day, he hinted: ‘I do see a forever here… I’d love to marry her. I’d be lying if I didn’t tell you I run through scenarios of our wedding day.’
He also revealed they both want children and he has received the seal of approval from her family after joining them on their Orlando holiday in May.
Chris joined JoJo for her birthday trip alongside her parents Jessalynn and Tom and her brother Jayden and his fiancée Abby.
The star is already been invited as JoJo’s plus one to the family wedding next year as the couple continue to go from strength to strength, but he admitted the pair don’t plan on moving in just yet and are prepared to carry on long distance.
And Chris isn’t the first one to mention marriage after JoJo previously admitted they had discussed putting a ring on it.

Speaking to TMZ last month while enjoying dinner with pal James Charles on Wednesday, JoJo said said things between herself and Chris are ‘going great.’
She said: ‘He is my favorite person in the world … It’s beautiful, it kind of radiates. He’s my favorite person and I am very grateful and very happy.’
Admitting that she is missing her boyfriend, JoJo added that she ‘wished he was there’ with her.
The star was then asked whether she had considered marriage with Chris yet, but she brushed it off by stating she has ‘so many thoughts.’
JoJo also revealed that she has ‘never ‘second guessed’ what she feels for the reality star.
‘Therefore, I’ve never second guessed my happiness, I’ve never second guessed what I’m feeling. And I think that’s the most beautiful thing. When I think about him, I’m full of pure joy. When I speak about him, I’m full of pure joy.’
Earlier this week JoJo addressed rumours she could be pr3gnant after one of her videos went viral on TikTok.
On Wednesday, she asked her fans to play the game ‘2 truths & a lie’ – before she read out three statements, one being a lie and the other two being truthful.
She then said: ‘1. I’ve never smoked a [cigarette] 2. I’m pr3gnant 3. This song comes out on Spotify Friday.’
JoJo was playing into online speculation that she could be expecting after Chris gently rubbed his finger over her tummy during a recent TikTok video.
Fans wrote things like, ‘Pregnancy craving???’ as she tucked into a plate of red food.
