OVERCOMING DOUBLE ADVERSITY: Judy Finnigan and Richard Madeley walk side by side, moving viewers to Tears!

Slimline Judy Finnigan and her husband Richard Madeley looked more in love than ever as they strolled arm in arm on a walk in north London on Wednesday.

The married couple were enjoying a romantic outing around the swanky Hampstead area as Good Morning Britain presenter Richard, 69, proved ever the gentleman by offering her his arm despite his double fractured wrist.

Judy, 77, looked happy and healthy as she wore a long navy and white patterned dress and black shoes.

The former This Morning presenter has retreated from the limelight in recent years, and recently revealed how she lost two stone in 2018 after a health scare.

By her side Richard cut a casual figure in a white linen shirt, light blue jeans and simple black shoes.

Last month on his show Good Morning Britain Richard opened up about his recent injury as he displayed a cast on his arm under his suit.

Right at the start of the show, Susanna said: ‘Richard… you better explain.’

‘I thought you were going to say, ‘Did you have a good break?”, he replied.

The camera then zoomed in on his arm and Susanna pointed out: ‘That looks sore!’

Richard confirmed: ‘Yeah it is a double fracture of the wrist. I was walking quite quickly down a steep pavement, in France actually, on Friday.

‘It was loose and it flipped up.

‘It flipped me forward and I thought…’Am I going to win or is gravity going to win?’

‘Gravity won. I hit the ground hard.

‘I’ve got a double fracture. We’ll see how it goes.’

Susanna asked: ‘Is it sore at the moment?’

Richard replied: ‘I’m not discussing the pain threshold. We don’t think about pain.’

Meanwhile Judy lost two stone and overhauled her health after she ‘nearly d13d’ from a ruptured stomach ulcer in 2018 and was left needing ‘two life-saving blood transfusions.’

As a result, friends have now revealed how she worked alongside her personal trainer daughter Chloe to make better life style choices which kept the pounds off.

Judy has previously explained how taking ibuprofen left her with a stomach ulcer that could have seen her ‘bleed out within half an hour’ without medical intervention.

She said: ‘I nearly d13d. Totally out of the blue never experienced anything like it before and hope to god I never will again.’

Judy continued: ‘I survived thanks to exceptionally swift arriving and skilled ambulance crew and superb emergency treatment at London’s Royal Free Hospital and two major life-saving blood transfusions.

Chloe put Judy on a revised programme of eating and exercising, which saw her drop two stone.

Chloe reportedly put her mother on a reduced daily calorie intake plan, managed by smaller portions, and eating less but more often plus regular exercise.

The source told Bella magazine last month: ‘Judy has had a few underlying medical conditions over the years and losing weight has had a significant impact on her general health.’

Two weeks ago Judy looked incredible as she celebrated her 77th birthday with her family.

The festivities were documented by daughter Chloe who shared a slew of rare snaps of her mother, who has retreated from the public eye in recent years.

Judy was dressed to impress for the occasion, showcasing her weight loss in a £126 floral Boden dress.

She was treated to balloons, flowers and a cake for her big day, as the family celebrated while out enjoying the sunshine in the garden.

Chloe captioned her post: ‘Rosé flowing with your chosen family. Happy birthday to my favourite woman in the world.’

While she made headlines with her new look, daughter Chloe previously told MailOnline that her mother wasn’t even trying to lose weight and it all happened rather naturally.

At the time, Chloe said: ‘Her palette is changing as she’s getting older and I think she was always a kind of meat and potatoes kind of girl.

‘I actually haven’t had anything to do with it. ‘I was as surprised as anyone else when I opened the fridge on coming home on the weekend and saw superfood salads and soups, I thought, what the hell is going on!’

She added: ‘I have to say her diet is now amazing. Her palate has changed. She has got into sushi, raw fish and whole grain salad. She has dropped the pounds naturally.’

While Judy has largely stepped away from the spotlight, Richard remains a regular face on This Morning.

The pair first met back in the Eighties while working at ITV Granada Television, before going on to tie the knot in 1986.

At the time Judy was wedded to journalist David Henshaw and Richard was in the midst of separating from his first wife Lynda.

UNBELIEVABLE: Eamonn Holmes accused of SCHEM1NG to keep money after Div0rce from Ruth to spoil new lover Katie – BUT Ruth outsmarts him!

Eamonn Holmes is reportedly vowing to give his new girlfriend Katie Alexander the same lavish lifestyle his ex Ruth Langsford enjoyed, with sources claiming he is willing to ‘fight for what he deserves’ in their divorce.

After splitting from Ruth in 2024, Eamonn, 65, has found love again with girlfriend Katie, 43, and is now ‘determined’ to get his finances back in order, and is ‘dragging his feet’ in his divorce.

This is in stark contrast to Ruth, who is thought to be desperate to finalise her split from Eamonn, having sought advice from lawyers to keep their £3.6million six-bedroom home in Surrey.

A source told The Sun: ‘Katie’s been a rock to Eamonn throughout his ongoing divorce Eamonn’s health is always a big concern and after a few tax blows lately, he is more determined than ever to get his finances back in order.’

‘Eamonn feels hard done by in the divorce. He’s dragging his feet because Ruth’s got the house and they have a lot of other financials still to sort out between them.

‘Eamonn knows his mobility issues are a worry. He needs a carer to help him get ready for work and that’s expensive.’

After splitting from Ruth in 2024, Eamonn has found love again with girlfriend Katie, and is ‘dragging his feet’ in his divorce

The insider added that Eamonn ‘doesn’t want to lose’ Katie, and is keen to give her the ‘kind of lifestyle she deserves.’

Over the weekend, Katie was proudly at Eamonn’s side as they attended his GB News colleague Nana Akua’s engagement party.

Having first grown close to Eamonn last summer, she showed off her glamorous transformation, with an insider added she’s started seeking advice from stylists to be Eamonn’s date at events.

After his production company was hit by huge six-figure debts, it’s also been reported that Eamonn is keen to add to his workload on GB News.

Internal discussions are ongoing as Eamonn’s GB News co-stars are bracing themselves for schedule changes.

MailOnline has contacted a representative for Eamonn Holmes and Katie Alexander for comment.

Last month, Eamonn removed his wedding ring, over a year since his spilt from Ruth.

The TV couple shocked fans with their joint statement on May 25 2024 confirming the end of their 14 year marriage.

And while Eamonn has embarked on a new relationship with new girlfriend Katie Alexander, he had continued to wear his gold band on his wedding finger.

However, as he hosted a recent edition of GB News alongside co-star Ellie Costello, his ring was noticeably absent from his hand.

While the presenter publicly ditched his jewellery for the on-air appearance, MailOnline understands that Eamonn does occasionally remove his ring.

Eamonn has battled a number of health problems in recent years, including a double hip replacement surgery, slipped discs and ongoing spinal problems.

It comes weeks after Ruth finally ditched her wedding ring almost a year after announcing their split.

But since then, Ruth has resolutely kept her wedding and engagement rings on, even once declaring to a fan that she wouldn’t remove them ‘because I am still married.’

On a recent episode of her ITV show Loose Women though, Ruth revealed the rings were off.

Meanwhile, Eamonn’s girlfriend Katie recently addressed a diamond ring on her wedding finger in new post shortly after going ‘Instagram official’ with their romance.

The presenter and marriage guidance counsellor Katie have been dating since mid-2024, with engagement rumours swirling since December.

And taking to her Instagram Stories, Katie posted a glowing selfie in a striped shirt, adding a playful thought bubble that read: ‘Time for a coffee in between clients?’

In the snap, a dazzling diamond ring was clearly visible – prompting questions from fans. But before any rumours could gather steam, Katie quickly shut them down.

She clarified: ‘Before anyone jumps to the #ringgate bandwagon, the camera is reversed so…. RightHandRingFinger!’

In May, Eamonn fell off his chair live on air, shocking his GB News co-stars.

As the camera focused on commentator Charlie Rowley at 6:15am, a crash could be heard off screen and the broadcaster’s co-host Ellie Costello exclaimed ‘oh my gosh.’

Eamonn was then heard saying: ‘I’m fine, fine, fine, carry on, carry on.’

A stunned Charlie tried to continue but the early morning news programme cut to adverts seconds later.

After an extended six-minute break, Eamonn returned to screens, joking: ‘I’m still alive,’ as he blamed the ‘wonky’ wheels on his chair.

‘They’re very wonky wheels on chairs we’ve got here, as a matter of fact we don’t really like the chairs here,’ he said to his co-host Ellie.

‘It was a shock for me because I had a fall two weeks ago in my bathroom that hospitalised me and that hit me right in the back.’

‘And that hit me again right in the back. Really, really sore, really sore.’

SH0CK: “Ignoring” Doctors’ advice – Sunday Brunch star cheats D3ath!

Sunday Brunch presenter Morgan McGlynn Carr has revealed she’s been diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer as she shared an emotional post on Instagram.

The TV star and author, 38, who has a regular spot as a cheese expert on the show, posted a picture of her from her hospital bed as she announced the ‘earth shattering’ news.

In October 2024, Morgan received her diagnosis after finding a lump in her right breast and received six months of weekly chemotherapy.

On two occasions doctors told the mother-of-one the lump was breast-feeding related, but after having a gut feeling something still wasn’t quite right she went for a third opinion and got her diagnosis – which she says ‘saved her life’.

Morgan has graced the screen alongside Sunday Brunch hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer since 2016.

The cheese presenter confirmed she is now ‘healing’ as she joyfully admitted she received some ‘very, very good news’ following surgery last month.

Sharing her journey, she wrote: ‘On the eve of my daughter’s first birthday, I found a lump in my right breast. I’d recently stopped breastfeeding and assumed it was related.

‘But my husband made me promise to go to the doctor first thing Monday – and, by pure chance it happened to be CoppaFeel! Week. My feed was full of women talking about breast cancer.

‘The GP said it was definitely breastfeeding-related. The breast clinic consultant said she was 99% sure it was nothing.

‘I got a third opinion and that decision saved my life… Trust your gut. Always.

‘After scans, biopsies, mammograms, CTs, MRIs – in October 2024, I was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. It was nothing short of earth-shattering.

‘But we’ve done our best to keep life feeling normal as possible for our daughter. Treatment is different for every person. No two paths are the same. But here’s what happened to me:

‘I was given a week before chemo to get my ducks in a row, which included chopping my hair off and IVF and egg retrival, something I’m incredibly grateful I was able to do.

‘Then came six months of weekly chemotherapy. The hardest thing I’ve ever done. Some weeks I sat for 13 hours at a time, and I was never alone thanks to my friends who kept me company.

‘And those who’ve been through the cold cap you’ll known it’s no joke. I had to catch my breath and get through the hardest parts before sharing this. So why now?

‘Because if even one person sees this, and it prompts them to check a lump or get a second opinion, it could save a life. Please, trust your gut.’

SH0CK: Lakers ready to nod “YES” if LeBron asks to LEAVE – Real top priority revealed!

SH0CK: Lakers ready to nod “YES” if LeBron asks to LEAVE – Real top priority revealed!

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James is set to turn 41 in the middle of next season, and while many assumed he would finish his career in L.A., recent comments from his agent, Rich Paul, raised some eyebrows.

“LeBron wants to compete for a championship,” Paul told ESPN. “He knows the Lakers are building for the future. He understands that, but he values a realistic chance of winning it all. We are very appreciative of the partnership that we’ve had for eight years with Jeanie [Buss] and Rob [Pelinka] and consider the Lakers as a critical part of his career.”

Paul made those comments after James exercised his $52.6 million player option for next season with the Lakers. Nothing has come of it, and as things stand, he’ll rep the purple and gold in 2025-26.

However, if things change and James wants to leave, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst revealed that James wouldn’t be the priority this offseason—his teammate Luka Doncic would be.

“There is no update, Dan LeBron is continuing to watch, but he is still under contract for $53 million, which makes, no matter what anything is said, both verbally or non-verbally, his likelihood of remaining a Laker,” Windhorst said on ESPN’s “Get Up.” “I can’t emphasize what I’m about to say enough. Regardless of who they sign at center, regardless of what LeBron does with his option, regardless of any backup signings they make, the number one most important thing for the Lakers this offseason is getting Luka Doncic into a contract extension, which they can do after August 2nd.”

Doncic, a five-time All-Star and five-time All-NBA First Team selection, still has two seasons left on his current contract with the Lakers. However, the 26-year-old has a player option for 2026-27, so the team wants to lock him into a longer deal before he could leave as a free agent.

Windhorst went on to warn fans that Doncic may not sign on that day as he’ll be playing with the Slovenian national team.

“And I’m going to sound this warning now,” Windhorst said. “He’s probably not going to sign August 2nd. He’s going to be playing with the Slovenian national team until mid-September, and he may not entertain that even issue until he comes back to the U.S. at that time. So it could be a long wait, but make no mistake, this offseason is not about LeBron for the Lakers. It is about Luka.”

Many might question why James, arguably the greatest basketball player ever, wouldn’t be the priority in this situation, but it’s clear its due to his age and the long-term future of the organization.

If it comes to it and James wants out, the Lakers would be willing to sacrifice this upcoming season in order to lock up Doncic and extend their championship window for years to come.

Report: Michael Strahan seeking Giants ownership stake | Reuters

Michael Strahan is facing backlash amid his national anthem controversy, but the Good Morning America host’s fans have his back.

The former NFL player caught some heat this week when some people perceived a gesture of his as “disrespectful,” which has since snowballed for Strahan.

On Sunday, Nov. 10 during a Fox Sports broadcast, Strahan was seen standing with his hands interlocked in front of him, instead of with his right hand over his heart, during the national anthem.

Some on social media called the gesture “disrespectful” towards members of the military, with some people going so far as to call for his firing from the network.

The Daily Mail claims that a reporter from the outlet approached Strahan outside of his home and asked for a comment on the situation. The outlet says that Strahan yelled “don’t come to my house” to the reporter, “grabbing the reporter’s phone.”

Fans have jumped to his defense, stating that Strahan’s actions during the national anthem were misunderstood. “Michael Strahan’s dad served in the Army for 23 years. He grew up on a US Army base in Germany and has given a ton of money to veteran charities. He’s standing quietly at attention. We need to stop getting so upset at every little thing,” said one X user.

Another agreed, writing, “he’s being respectful. No need for outrage.”

On Nov. 11, Strahan shared a photo of his father, Maj. Gene W. Strahan, Sr., on social media.

Strahan wrote a thank you to “all veterans and active service members,” sharing that “just as I honor my father, I keep all of you in my thoughts each and every day as we would not have the safety and freedoms we cherish without you.”

ABC viewers warn David Muir to ‘be careful’ as they praise heartbreaking segment

During the latest episode of ABC World News Tonight, David Muir worried viewers as he stood in the middle of the catastrophe that was the d3adly Texas floods

David Muir’s latest segment on ABC World News Tonight had viewers worried as they warned him to “be careful”.

After a shock departure and a chaotic period leaving him “in denial,” the 51-year-old host is back in the face of havoc and has been reporting from the thick of the catastrophe that was the Texas floods.

Over the weekend, millions of Texas residents feared for their lives as d3adly floods ran through the state, KL over a 100 people, including 27 teens at an all-girls camp called Camp Mystic.

Giving viewers an up close look at the tragedy, David flew down to Kerrville, Texas – the town the show has branded as “the epicenter of one of the d3adliest U.S. floods in decades”.

While showing the devastating grounds, he also interviewed victims of the flood, like Scott and Juliet Weldon, whose house got torn apart in the midst of the catastrophe.

During the segment, his viewers took to X to praise his efforts with one saying, “My heart breaks watching David Muir on the World News interviewing the man looking for his parents. So many others looking for the missing. And then those precious young hearts and the camp instructors… Unimaginable sorrow the families are feeling. Prayers.”

Another wrote, “ABC World News-David Muir, that is so good of you to be reporting from Texas. Be careful.”

“David Muir offering more consolation to the people of Texas than the president of the United States,” a third added.

One of the interviews that moved fans the most was the chat he had with Coast Guard rescue swimmer Scott Ruskan, who helped save 165 people from the flooding, including the young girls at Camp Mystic.

After his troop had arrived at the scene, they had all decided for Scott to stay on the ground with the campers, in efforts to get more children in one helicopter ride at a time.

He explained, “Yea, we assumed, based on weight, that we could probably take two more kids every trip.”

During his time on site, he witnessed children still in their pajamas still soaked and covered in mud from the rising waters. He specifically recalled the two girls who had been left without shoes.

“At one point, you were carrying two girls with one arm?” David asked.

“Yea, yea. It was one in each arm,” he clarified. “But yea, it was just two little kids like 7 years old. Didn’t have shoes on. I was like ‘Dude, I’m not gonna make you guys walk through this mud while you’re trying to get to a helicopter.’”

Scott had told David he will “never forget” the night he saved those children from Camp Mystic.

At 51, David, who replaced Diane Sawyer in 2014, just won Outstanding LiVe News Program for the third straight year at the 6th News and Documentary Emmy Awards. Despite internal changes, World News Tonight grew viewership from 7.24 million to 7.308 million, beating NBC Nightly News anchored by former colleague Tom Llamas.

Speaking on LIVE with Kelly and Mark, David shared: “Listen, it’s been a really hea/y time and it hasn’t let up… I’ve joked I should say, ‘Good evening, and I’m sorry’ but we’ll get through.”

The most touching moment: David paused a li/e broadcast to honor Michelle: “I’m still in denial… Shelly cues me every night, standing by the camera. This moment is yours. You deserve this, Shelly. Go back to Kentucky, be with family, horses and the beautiful countryside. 11 years by my side… I don’t know what I’ll do without you.”

The camera cut to Michelle, who signaled David off-air for the last time. Even as ABC faces cost cuts and restructuring, David remained calm, closing: “But we’ll get through.”

It’s been an emotional roller coaster for David Muir, the face of ABC’s World News Tonight, in recent weeks.

The 51-year-old heartthrob has been at the forefront of ABC’s primetime news for over a decade and shows no signs of slowing down. During a guest appearance on LIVE with Kelly and Mark, alongside his good friends Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, he delved into a range of topics related to his constant presence on television.

Kelly couldn’t resist singing his praises when she mentioned that David’s show had just won the Outstanding Live News Program for the third consecutive year at the 6th annual News and Documentary Emmy Awards.

“I predict you’re literally going to be the Oprah Winfrey of the evening news, where you take yourself out of contention so the other anchors have [a chance],” she joked.

David shared that despite clinching the top spot for the third year running, it was also the third year in a row he was unable to attend the awards ceremony. He confessed that previous commitments kept him away the first two times, and superstition prevented him from attending the third time, reports the Mirror US.

He emphasized, “It’s really about the team. I was at a dinner, but I did have the phone on with the live feed. I just glanced over and I could read the lips, and I think they said ‘ABC World News,’ and then the team gets up.

David was effusive in his praise, saying, “And I have to say, I told the team, it meant more to me to be able to see them go up on the stage, they’re incredible. These folks, I’ve been working with [them] for 11 years now,”.

He fondly remembered Kelly and Mark’s support during his initial days as anchor after taking over from Diane Sawyer in August 2014. Mark inquired if the experience felt the same now as it did back then, hinting that recent news cycles could be more challenging.

“Listen, it’s been a really heavy time, and it hasn’t let up,” David responded. “I’ve joked with you guys, I feel like I need to say, ‘Good evening, and I’m sorry’,” but he also mentioned, “But we’ll get through it.”

The television personality’s candid moment comes shortly after he had to say goodbye to his cherished colleague, stage manager Michelle Mayer, who decided to leave the network after an impressive tenure of over 30 years to return to her native Kentucky.

During last Tuesday’s broadcast, David took a moment to deliver a heartfelt tribute to Michelle before her departure, with Diane and Charlie Gibson joining in to honor their time with her.

“I am still in denial about all this,” David confessed in the touching tribute, continuing, “I cannot believe that Shelly is leaving my partner in crime out there. She’s the one who’s cuing me every single night, standing next to the camera, but Shelly, only for you tonight, I hope you’ll notice that you’re going to see my cuffs.

“The only reason anyone ever sees cuffs is because Shelley’s always saying, pull your cuff. My watch. I’ve got my watch on, because Shelly likes it when I show up with my watch on. Only happens, like once or twice a year.”

But the star didn’t stop there with his personal touches, as he also noted, “I got a full suit on today, only for you, Shelley, as you know, usually jeans in the waist down behind that desk. But for you, the full suit. And I don’t dig the jeans, and I got a haircut. I got a haircut for you. “.

David wrapped up by effusively stating, “This moment is yours. You deserve this, Shelley. Go home to Kentucky, giving back with your family, the horses, and the beautiful countryside. And what 11 years this has been by my side-I don’t know what I’m gonna do without you.”

The segment concluded with the camera shifting to Michelle, who-for the final time-was signaling to cue David off air.

David Muir is switching things up for recent broadcasts of World News Tonighttaking the show with ABC News to Texas.

The news anchor, 51, has been reporting from the Lone Star State for much of the past week in the wake of devastating floods hitting the region, documenting the stories of people trying to search for lost relatives and the tragedies affecting the likes of Camp Mystic.

The show has also been covering several of its other regular news stories from the same location, although for fans of the anchor, it’s a surprising change to his look that’s giving them another reason to tune in.

Due to the special circumstances, David’s reporting segments for latest World News Tonight episodes have seen him ditch his usual studio attire of sharp suits and coiffed hair for a more casual look.

For the latest broadcast, airing on Tuesday, July 8, David appeared in a simple black muscle-tee with a pair of jeans, and a segment covering TSA’s decision to scrap the “shoes off” policy at airports had viewers in a tizzy.

In a clip shared on social media from the primetime news show, several fans commented on how muscular and athletic David looked in his more casual fare, leaving comments like: “David, been working out huh!? Looking in shape brother.”

Another wrote: “I had to start this over a couple times…hello chest and biceps,” with a third joking: “Hi everyone, see how buffed I am?” and a fourth even adding: “Bro is getting jacked.”

While David has long-been associated with his sharp suits and clean-cut image, he confessed during a recent interview that it’s all a carefully constructed illusion…at least from the waist down.

“I generally have jeans on from the waist down,” he confessed to People. “So the first thing that we try to do is make sure my jeans aren’t showing…I really don’t try to take myself too seriously but I always just joke, ‘Don’t tell anyone about the jeans and the boots!’”

David added that he actually preferred being more casual with his get-up as opposed to the usual three-piece suits that’ve become part of his public image. “Anyone who works with me knows that I am so uncomfortable even having to put on the tux. So the fact that I survive those events is still a surprise to me without looking like a total nerd.”

He also joked about being perceived as a “daddy” online, especially by the show’s many viewers, even gaining an ardent following on TikTok and Tumblr for his dapper style and signature affectations while presenting the news.

“People will forward TikTok videos, but only because they are laughing out loud at them and making fun of me and saying, ‘When did you become Daddy?’” he noted.

“So I don’t know whether that happens when you hit 50 or what, but I’ll take it as a compliment, I think,” David quipped, concluding with: “Maybe it’s lost on me, but I guess Daddy’s better than the alternative.”
