This Morning in Uproar: Dermot O’Leary “OPENLY CALLS OUT” Alison Hammond live on air, leaving crew and viewers stunned!

Alison Hammond has shared how she’s given up alcohol, revealing that her life “really is wonderful” after going teetotal. The presenter was chatting to Dermot O’Leary, Gyles Brandreth and Alison Phillips on This Morning about the increasing number of people becoming teetotal when she opened up about her own sobriety.

“You feel so much better when you go out and have a really good time, you dance all night long, you don’t have a drink – you can go to bed. You wake up lovely. Honestly, my life is great – it really is wonderful,” she said. “Teetotal is the way forward.”

Alison opened up about the benefits of drinking less, while Dermot insisted that people don't have to live "like a monk"

She added that when she does drink alcohol, it takes her days to get over the hang0v3r. “When I have a little drink, I feel like I have to recover for three days.”

Not everyone was impressed however, with Dermot saying: “Boring,” before adding: “You don’t drink much.” Alison replied: “I don’t but when I do, I have a Baileys. Christmas and Boxing Day, I’m out, I’m done.”

Meanwhile, Gyles added that he hasn’t touched a drop of alcohol for 25 years. “Interestingly, my children – particularly the boys, my sons-in-law and my son – have given up drinking,” he said. “I think they feel better. They’re more into fitness, they’re doing weights.”

Dermot was putting his case forward for those who still enjoy a glass of wine or two, saying: “You can do both. It’s not like you have to go out and live like a monk.

“I’m perfectly happy to have a couple of glasses of wine and then feel fine and get up the next day and go for a run. We’re in this weird world of extremes now. You just hydrate.”

Earlier this week, the This Morning family added an extra member when expert and psychologist Emma Kenny announced the birth of her fourth child at the age of 52.

Taking to Instagram, Emma said: “Say hi Ella-Grey And then we were six! Say hello Ella-Grey! This morning she entered the world with a very loud cry. The Royal Bolton hospital have been fantastic and ensured that we have both been looked after brilliantly.”

The TV star is already a mum to children Tyde, 22, Evan, 20, and Etta-Blue, who she welcomed in 2023. Emma previously opened up about l0sing h3r mum “suddenly” just a few weeks before she gave birth to her fourth child.

Celebrity Gogglebox is adding another famous face to its sofa for tonight’s episode, with This Morning star Alison Hammond joining the 2025 cast. It marks the presenter’s first time on the hit Channel 4 series, which sees stars watch some of week’s biggest TV moments.

Channel 4 announced that Alison will be appearing in tonight’s episode, joining her sister Saundra and her son Aidan, who she hosted BBC Two’s Florida Unpacked. In a statement, Alison said: “I’m so excited to be doing Celebrity Gogglebox with my son Aidan. We’ve always loved watching telly together, and now we get to do it on the sofa for the nation!

“It’s a real family affair too, because my fabulous sister Saundra is getting involved as well. Expect laughs, eye-rolls, and lots of commentary, classic Hammond style!”

Reports of Alison joining the cast of Celebrity Gogglebox hit the headlines back in May, with the This Morning star and her son tipped to join the show.

The current series of Celebrity Gogglebox has seen the likes of Paddy McGuinness, Vernon Kay, Clare Balding, Rylan Clark, Nick Grimshaw and other stars watch the telly highlights of the week.

While the series began last month, some fans weren’t impressed with its big return – complaining that it felt too “forced” for some of the celebs.

“Not the dreaded celebrities again, so many of them are so annoying #Celebritygogglebox,” one wrote, while another said: “Celebrity Gogglebox just isn’t funny like the original, it feels forced! #gogglebox #Celebritygogglebox.”

Vicky Pattison is also on the cast this year alongside her longtime friend Pete Wicks. The former Geordie Shore star opened up about filming the show and the challenges they faced during the ongoing heatwave.

Speaking on her podcast with Angela Scanlon, Vicky said: “We’re done. It’s in the bag. Last one is this week so make sure you tune in. I can’t promise any feminist rants. I was sw3ating me t**s off.

“It was 40 degrees in my front room trying to do that the other day, and obviously, with the heatwave we’ve been having this week, it’s been f*****g savage. Yeah, literally swɑmp guss3t gɑl0re.”

This series of Celebrity Gogglebox also saw Rag’n’Bone Man join the cast, marking his first ever reality TV appearance.

Celebrity Gogglebox continues tonight at 9pm on Channel 4.

An EastEnders icon is stepping back into the soap world, but this time, she’s swapping Albert Square for the sun-soaked shores of Australia.

Hannah Waterman, who captured viewers’ hearts as Laura Beale in EastEnders from 2000 to 2004, has joined the cast of the long-running Aussie soap Home and Away.

During her four-year stint on EastEnders, Hannah became a familiar face as Ian Beale’s (Adam Woodyatt) third wife. But her time on the soap ended in one of the show’s most shocking storylines when her character met a gr1m fat3.

Laura was KL off in 2004 after she answered the door, tripped over a toy, and fell down a flight of stairs. Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) was accused of Laura’s murder following one of their explosive rows and the discovery of a damning receipt in Laura’s flat. The plot twist became one of the most memorable moments in EastEnders history.

Since saying goodbye to Walford, Hannah has continued to work as an actress, appearing in British telly favourites such as Doctors, The Bill, New Tricks, and Holby City.

Over a decade ago she decided to make a life-changing move and leave the UK behind for Australia. Hannah continued to carve out a successful acting career there.

One of her credits Down Under is for the drama Bali 2002, which chronicles the tragic events of the 2002 Bali b0mb1ngs. Now Hannah is making a triumphant return to soapland as she joins Home and Away. The series has been a staple of Australian television since it first aired on January 17, 1988.

A source told The Sun: “Hannah moved to Australia years ago for a new life, but she’s still acting.

“She loved dipping her toes back into the world of soap briefly, and who knows it could mean she finds her way back more permanently.”

Home and Away chronicles the dramas, romances, and heartbreaks of the residents of the fictional coastal town Summer Bay. The soap recently celebrated an impressive 35 years on air.

Channel 5 secured the rights to the show in 2000, and UK audiences have been tuning in to watch it ever since. Besides this new career milestone, Hannah has also experienced some highs in her personal life while in Australia.

Three years ago she married actor Huw Higginson, who is best known for his decade-long role as PC George Garfield in The Bill. Huw shared a photo from their wedding in October 2022, where the couple could be seen posing on a boat in Sydney with their 11-year-old son Jack.

He captioned the sweet family snapshot: “Got married to my love yesterday. We had the best of days.” In the photo Hannah is beaming at Huw and wearing a patterned blue dress paired with gold strappy sandals and a navy pashmina.

She is also holding a bouquet of cream flowers. Before settling down in Australia in 2014, Hannah was married to EastEnders co-star Ricky Groves. The couple tied the knot in 2006 but separated in 2010 and got divorced four years later.

SH0CKING: Emmerdale actress Lucy Pargeter’s Diamond Ring and the H0rrifying truth about her fiancé behind bɑrs!

Emmerdale actress Lucy Pargeter (48) is reportedly engaged to Elliott Walker (54), a member of a dr::g gɑng currently ja1led for six years for his role in what is believed to be Britain’s biggest ever amph3tam1ne factory. According to The Sun on Sunday, Lucy was seen visiting him at HMP Hollesley Bay in Suffolk, though Walker had kept his identity secret until now.

Emmerdale star Lucy Pargeter is believed to be engaged to drug gang member Elliot Walker

Walker admitted buying specialist equipment for the lab in Henley-in-Arden, Warwickshire, run by gɑngster John Keet, capable of producing 400kg of amph3tam1ne per month, worth £10 million on the streets. Back in 2022, Lucy hinted on the podcast The Heal Is Real: “I’m in a new relationship now. Exclusive. Don’t say anything.”

Elliott Walker, 54, was jailed for six years at HMP Hollesley Bay in Suffolk after pleading guilty to conspiracy to produce class B drugs

Last year, she fueled rumors by showing off a huge diamond ring on Instagram. Lucy and ex-partner Rudi Coleano share three daughters: Lola (born 2005) and twins Betsy and Missy (born 2017 after a tough IVF journey). They nearly married in 2012 but held back, fearing friends might be upset, and later split in 2019, focusing on co-parenting.

According to the National Crime Agency, Keet’s lab relied on the equipment Walker sourced, and was shut down in 2021 after long surveillance. Other associates like Andrew Gurney and Keith Davis had their ja1l sentences increased on appeal for being too lenient. Meanwhile, Walker is said to proudly tell fellow inmates about his famous fiancée.

Clark & Reese on the Same Team? A Blockbuster That Shakes the WNBA – Stats That Stun Everyone!

What if Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese Played on the Same Team? A Dream Duo That Could Redefine the WNBA

Fans around the world — especially in the WNBA — can only imagine the spectacle if two of the league’s most electric forces, Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, were to share the same jersey.

College rivals Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese clash to open WNBA Commissioner's Cup | NBA.com

Caitlin Clark, often hailed as the “Queen of the Deep Three,” averages over 22 points per game, sinking shots from beyond the arc at an impressive 38–40% clip, while dishing out 6–7 assists per game. By contrast, Angel Reese has earned her reputation as the “Rebounding Machine,” pulling down 10–12 boards per game, adding 15–17 points, and bringing relentless grit on defense.

Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese are selected in the first round of the WNBA draft : NPR

Together, they would form a near-perfect partnership: Clark, the maestro orchestrating the offense and stretching defenses with her limitless range; Reese, dominating the paint, creating countless second-chance opportunities and shutting down opponents under the rim. Analysts predict such a pairing could elevate their team’s offensive rating above 110, while holding a defensive rating below 100 — a rare and deadly balance.

Beyond the stats, this hypothetical alliance would unleash a media storm. The narrative of former college rivals turning allies would set social media ablaze, boost broadcast viewership to unprecedented heights, and perhaps shatter existing ratings records for the women’s game.

Though purely speculative, this scenario highlights a powerful truth: the WNBA now has stars capable of reshaping the landscape of women’s sports media. Should they ever join forces, the entire league could witness a transformation like never before.

DON’T LOOK! CHAOS on This Morning: Host reportedly G0ES C0MMAND0? Ben Shephard & Cat Deeley stunned!

While hosting This Morning, veteran presenters Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley were suddenly caught off guard by a cheeky viewer message:
“Hey, are you watching? It kinda looks like Dermot O’Leary ISN’T WEARING ANY UNDERWEAR! Can you confirm that?”
The pair couldn’t help but laugh awkwardly, as social media exploded over this rather delicate question.

This Morning viewers could barely believe what they were seeing on the ITV show today as Dermot O’Leary was accused of ‘not wearing pants’.

Friday’s episode (June 27) saw Dermot return to the daytime programme for co-hosting duties with Alison Hammond. But while fans were delighted to see him back on screen, some debated just how much they could see of him.

Indeed, one person watching along at home felt Dermot was ‘at risk’ – and another suggested it was time for the telly fave to invest in extra support.

This Morning latest news: What happened with Dermot O’Leary?

According to some eager observers, Dermot’s choice of und3rwear – even though a few viewers speculated he may have gone without – accentuated his appearance.

“Dermot has definitely got Y-front/briefs on to get a b::lge like that #ThisMorning,” one explained delicately on X.

To which someone else replied, chuckling along by using a crying laughing emoji: “Very risky with such loose clothing.”

And another person expressed their opinion on Dermot’s slacks on social media: “I’m more annoyed than usual about Dermot’s pleated old men trousers today #thismorning.”

However, despite the claims about Dermot’s undercrackers, other X users reckoned he may not have had another layer underneath at all.

“OMG! Is Dermot O’Leary not wearing any und3rwear on #ThisMorning today? Something doesn’t look right,” one person posted.

    ‘Don’t look!’

Meanwhile, other social media critics felt Dermot should consider laying off busting out his best moves when he’s on the box.

“Dermot O’Leary does the same dance to every song no matter the genre and he pulls a really angry face while he’s doing it. #ThisMorning,” one X user assessed Dermot’s ability to throw shapes.

Another pleaded with producers: “#ThisMorning PLEASE stop Dermot O’Leary dancing about and acting like a teenager on too much caffeine! It’s not cool for a 50+ year old man!”

However, a reply to that post seemed to bring the social conversation back to Dermot’s gr01n again.

Making use of a covering eyes emoji, a user responded coyly: “Especially when he’s erm… Don’t look!”

And finally, just take care of the audience because I am going to miss them probably just as much as anyone else.”

4 Best Moments From ‘GMA’s’ 40th Anniversary Reunion

Champion said he missed waking up in the morning for “GMA” and having Robin Roberts hand him a fresh cup of coffee. He is especially excited to see the Times Square audience –- even in January’s cold temperatures.

“[The audience] is the most fun part of the entire show, to get outside and spend some time with the people who come to see us,” Champion said today by phone. “I think I have to buy a winter coat.”

ABC News’ Senior Meteorologist Rob Marciano will also fill in while Zee is out on maternity leave.

Champion, 54, passed the torch to Zee during his last “GMA” broadcast on Dec. 4, 2013 by giving her a pair of rain boots — a necessity for meteorologists, according to Champion.

The 25-year ABC veteran said goodbye to viewers during that broadcast with his familiar catchphrase: “That’s the weather around the nation, ladies and gentleman.” The longtime meteorologist later moved on to a role at “The Weather Channel.”

When Champion returns to “GMA” he will be reunited with “GMA” family members Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos and Lara Spencer, as well as Amy Robach, who was named “GMA” news anchor after Champion’s departure.

Champion most recently appeared on “GMA” in November during the show’s 40th reunion celebration that brought co-anchors, news anchors, meteorologists and contributors from the past 40 years of “GMA” together in Times Square.

During that show, Champion was presented with an award for one of the show’s funniest moments in its history, the moment Stephanopolous mistakenly introduced Champion’s weather segment by saying, “Look at this shrimp on a treadmill…”

“I’d like to thank you, George,” Champion said when accepting his trophy on the 40th anniversary show.

Angel Reese had some corrections to make after hearing claims about her net worth.

While speaking as a guest at ComplexCon in Las Vegas, Reese was interviewed by host Speedy Morman, who brought up the WNBA star’s financial accomplishments since she was drafted by the Chicago Sky. Morman mentioned Reese’s estimated $2 million net worth, which she quickly corrected, according to Sports Illustrated.

When asked by Morman if the figure was incorrect, Reese, 22, said that not only is it inaccurate, it is “way off” what she is actually worth, without offering a specific number — though implying that it was more.

“I’m able to soon retire my mom, I can pay off my mortgage, my family, everybody’s taken care of… One thing about me, I have a really good circle around me, and I think that’s really important,” Reese said.

This isn’t the first time that Reese has opened up about her finances, as last month she made it clear that playing in the WNBA is nowhere near her sole source of income.

Reese said on social media that her WNBA salary doesn’t cover her monthly $8,000 rent.

According to Sportrac, Reese made $73,439 during her rookie season with the Sky.

Reese’s net worth is supported by her host of other business ventures, including her Unapologetically Angel podcast, her endorsement deal from Hershey’s Reese’s Pieces, her shoe deal with Reebok and joining the Unrivaled 3-on-3 basketball team.
