Ainsley Earhardt and Lawrence Jones, who were joined by cohosts Brian Kilmeade and Carley Shimkus, shared laughs and awkward glances as they opened up about real-life dating fails.

It all started with Earhardt teasing Jones about how he tends to overshare.

“Lawrence shares a lot about his dating life,” she said with a grin.

Jones jumped in to clarify.

“Yeah, but I share with you off the record, right? And you have managed to tell maybe three or four stories of my exes on air,” he said.

He added that some of his exes weren’t thrilled about that.

“I get complaints,” he said. “Because they go, people take clips of this and they go, really?”

Earhardt, who is engaged to fellow Fox News star Sean Hannity, admitted she knew one particular story she wanted Jones to share.

He went on a date with a woman who ordered “like 5 million appetizers” and asked Jones to pay for her gas after the date.

“She would go on this date and she claims to be so independent,” Jones began.

“She orders four appetizers on a date, and she’s wasteful. She doesn’t even eat it all.”

“Two negatives,” Kilmeade responded.

“And you know, I just thought after she said all of this stuff about being independent, I always take the bill, but I wanted to see her reach for it,” Jones added.

But things only went downhill from there.

“She didn’t,” he said.

“But it got worse, didn’t it?” Kilmeade asked.

Jones said the woman asked for more than just dinner.

“She goes, ‘You know, my car is on,’” he recalled.

“I said, ‘OK, I’ll follow you to the gas [station],’ and she wanted me to fill her up.”

Earhardt couldn’t believe it: “She said, ‘You get out and pump it and pay for it?’”

“That’s right,” Jones confirmed.

When asked if he did it, Jones said, “No, I didn’t. I pumped it, but I wasn’t paying for that.”

The hosts then joked that the woman might be listening.

“In fact, we got her on the line right now,” Kilmeade said playfully.

“Oh my gosh, that was me,” Earhardt joked, impersonating her.

“That is the worst date ever,” she added, laughing.

The moment quickly shifted to a more serious segment, but the dating horror story left a mark.

LIVE BROADCAST CUT SH0CKS VIEWERS: Fox News guest slυrs words, mixes up host’s name on air – Accused of being drʋnⱪ, but the truth is EVEN more sh0cking!A Fox News segment is garnering attention online for its abrupt and awkward end after a guest appeared visibly inebriated during the live interview.

On Saturday, June 14, President Donald Trump held his pricey birthday military parade in Washington, D.C., and during Fox News’ live coverage, co-hosts Lawrence Jones and Emily Compagno invited Rebekah Koffler, a former Defense Intelligence Agency officer, to give her reaction.

When Koffler joined the special broadcast just after 9:30 p.m. local time, Compagno asked her to comment on the “symbolism” and “messaging” of the parade, which also celebrated the 250th birthday of the U.S. Army. Koffler began by appearing to incorrectly identify host Jones as another member of Fox News’ staff.

“I’m so excited, Emily and Lucas Tomlinson,” she began, her speech slurred. “Everybody, like, this is incredible! Finally, the United States is back! I want to really thank all of our army, navy and air force officers who have been sacrificing their lives, literally.”

Koffler, still slurring her speech, continued: “Their families have been contributing to the mission, most of the time for the past quarter of a century because of the mismanagement of the, uh, the administrative state, they’ve been fighting these foreign wars, but with our new Commander in Chief, Donald J. Trump, they are prioritizing America first.”

“And I want to thank these officers for all of these sacrifices and all of the hardships that their families have endured,” she went on.

Both Jones and Compagno then made separate attempts to interject, seemingly trying to cut Koffler off.

Instead, Koffler continued, this time correctly identifying Jones to tell him, “Lawrence Jones, you are doing … you’re rocking man!”

She then attempted to say a few more words, but the co-hosts cut her off entirely. The duo both thanked Koffler for her time before concluding the interview, which ended up being around a minute and a half long.

Neither Compagno nor Jones acknowledged the abrupt end or the guest’s behavior.

The day after the incident, the former defense intelligence agency officer addressed the appearance, and online reactions tied to it after the segment went viral, in an X post.

Claiming that “allegations against me related to my @FoxNews appearance #TrumpParade are FALSE,” Koffler said the “TRUTH” is that “audio, video during #MilitaryParade were corrupted due to intermittent, slow internet connection.”

A Fox News source, however, denied this, telling PEOPLE there “was no connection or audio issues with her hit.”

In the same June 15 statement, Koffler also addressed a since-deleted X post she made before the broadcast — a photo of a bottle of wine, alongside which she included the caption, “Refilling my #champagne glass.”

“Yes, I did post #champagne photo — this was a joke, intended to boost viewership,” she wrote.

Koffler is a freelance editorial writer, author and a strategic military intelligence analyst who formerly worked for the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency, according to her Fox News bio.

COULDN’T BE HAPPIER – GMA’s historic moment – GMA veterans Michael Strahan, Robin Roberts, and George Stephanopoulos honored on the Hollywood Walk of Fame – ABC to hold a Special Tribute at a Unique Venue, moving and thrilling fans!

Michael Strahan was recognized by the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2023, and he made history by being the first celebrity dedicated to the sports entertainment industry to receive the high honor.

Now, his fellow Good Morning America co-hosts are following in his footsteps by receiving stars of their own. Both Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos are also getting their names cemented.

GMA, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, posted a video onto its social media page, showcasing the co-hosts getting a shout out and applause for their “double ceremony.”

The two were recognized on July 2, 2025, as being a part of the talented Walk of Fame’s class of 2026. The group has 35 honorees who were chosen to get a star. The fellow recipients include Demi Moore, Molly Ringwald, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Stanley Tucci.

Both Robin and George have been involved in journalism for decades. Robin became GMA’s co-anchor back in May 2005. Prior to that she served as a host on ESPN’s SportsCenter, was a contributor for NFL Primetime, and is the founder of Rock’n Robin Productions.

George’s first role at ABC News was as an analyst for the show, This Week in 1997. He slowly rose to the top and became not only a co-host at GMA, but also the host of his own show, This Week with George Stephanopoulos.

Back when Michael got his star, he explained during his acceptance speech just how surreal the moment was for him.

He expressed: “You kind of wake up and you’re here. But I’m happy I’m here, because I never thought I’d make it here. I was just living, I was just enjoying life, I was just working. I was just trying to enjoy everything that came my way.”

The honor not only provided external validation for the journalist, but it also confirmed a deeper bigger picture of life for him.

Michael explained: “But you look, and you wonder, what’s your purpose? And I found out my purpose is pretty much people. My purpose is pretty much to enjoy life and to spread joy and spread happiness and to enjoy everything that comes your way and to make sure everyone in your life feels important.”

He attended the ceremony with his mother and three of his four children by his side. Robin also attended to show her massive support for the big moment.

Prior to becoming a GMA co-host in 2016, Michael was an NFL player for his team, the New York Giants. During Michael’s final season with the team back in 2007, the New York Giants won Super Bowl 42 by beating the New England Patriots.

Besides now having a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the host is also part of the 2014 Pro Football Hall of Fame.

David praised Michael, describing him as “the one who brings the joy to the mornings,” yet who also faced deep pain when his daughter Isabella was diagnosed with medulloblastoma in October 2023.

Isabella had started experiencing constant nausea and couldn’t walk in a straight line. After her twin sister Sophia urged her to see a doctor, tests revealed a tum0r in her brain, and she had to undergo emergency surgery right away.

Michael opened up about this terrifying experience: “As a parent, you’re scared. Oh my, you’re just scared. It never crossed our minds that it would be cnc3r, especially since there’s no family history.”

Following the diagnosis, Isabella went through months of chemotherapy, radiation, and multiple brain surgeries. In July 2024, she was finally declared cnc3r-free – an emotional turning point for the entire family.

Yet Michael admitted the fear never fully goes away: “There will never be a time she goes for a scan when I’m not on pins and needles. Even 10, 20, 30 years from now… you’ll always worry.”

The Paley Center event also celebrated GMA’s legacy as “a cherished daily ritual blending hard-hitting journalism with warmth.” David joined Michael, Robin Roberts, and George Stephanopoulos to accept the honor, reflecting on decades of stories that deeply touched viewers’ hearts.

However, before looking at a career in broadcast journalism, Andrea originally studied law at Santa Clara University. Andrea’s time as a law student was short-lived – during her third year of law school, she realized it wasn’t the path she wanted to pursue.

“I didn’t love it,” she shared with Barrett News Media. “I knew other people that didn’t love working as a lawyer.

“I guess I got cold feet and decided law was not something I could do for the rest of my life. I always wanted to be a news reporter and anchor.”

In 2012, Andrea went on to work at CBS2/KCAL9 and later moved to CBS’WJZ in Baltimore. The news anchor moved between several networks and even spent a period reporting from Washington before she officially joined ABC News as a correspondent in February 2024.

The love story

The couple met in Washington, D.C., while Andrea was working there and Whit had just graduated from college. “I was working in my second job, he was fresh out of college on his first,” she told Barrett News Media.

The pair married in August 2007 and settled in New York City to work at ABC.

“I have a ton of respect for her and what she’s done.”

The new staffing change comes after Zee guest co-hosted a recent episode of “The View.”

Fans loved seeing Zee on the show.

“She’s better from one day than all the other fill-in guest hosts.”

“A true natural on the show,” one fan gushed, while another added: “My favorite guest host ever.”

One fan advocated for Zee to join the show permanently.

The journalist reposted a story from Michigan Live News that reported of a deer attacking a woman and pinning her down and piercing her with its antlers.

Thankfully, the woman made it out alive, and Ginger expressed her satisfaction about that as well as she revealed that she too was terrified of this scenario.

She wrote in the caption: “If you know me… you know I have a fear of many animals with hooves … especially deer.

“This is the nightmare scenario I have told my producers about… and it came true for this woman! So glad she’s ok. I am so adamant about this you all let me know 🙂 thanks @suziedey for looking out!”

Fans instantly launched into conversation in the comments section, with many of them identifying with Ginger’s fear.

Ginger opened up about her fear of hooved animals with a terrifying incident

Some were taken aback by the incident, as one commented: “Wow!! Had no idea. The deer in my yard always run away. I guess you never know! Freaky!”
