Tom Brady has been praised for his performance in the booth during the Washington Commanders’ win over the Detroit Lions on Saturday night.
The former star quarterback has had a difficult transition from football to broadcasting but appears to be growing more comfortable in the role now that the playoffs have started.
Brady had one of his best moments as a commentator during Saturday’s Divisional Round clash as he caught something no one else seemed to realize.
The Commanders were at Detroit’s five-yard line on a fourth-and-two while leading 31-28 and were about to go for it. Brady observed that the Lions had an extra man on the field and begged them to call a timeout.
“Need a time-out,” he was heard saying. “Twelve on the field, time-out. Time-out. Nope. Nope. Oh, no. What are they doing?”
Sadly, The Lions Couldn’t Hear Tom Brady
Of course, they couldn’t hear him and ended up getting penalized, handing Washington an important first down half the distance to the goal.
“Wow, you called it for 10 seconds, Tom,” Kevin Burkhardt said.
“I’m seeing ’em run out there,” Brady explained. “Miscommunication. It’s one of those things that you’ve gotta see…trying to re-direct but there’s 70,000 people. No one’s gonna hear you.”
The penalty proved costly for Detroit, as the Commanders punched in a touchdown two plays later to extend their lead.

Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson has emerged as one of the most prominent figures in women’s basketball. Her outstanding achievements and dominant performances on the court have boosted her confidence in her skills. However, this confidence has recently caused her some trouble, as NBA fans criticized her for a recent statement she made.
In a recent episode of the “Roommates” show, Wilson stunned both the NBA and WNBA by claiming that she could defeat New York Knicks star Josh Hart in a one-on-one matchup. Additionally, she predicted that the final score would be 11-8.
“Score would be 11-8, me. I’m not saying you gonna go scoreless, 8 to 11 is pretty solid. So, what do you think it’ll be, Josh?” Wilson said.
Although Josh and Wilson both had a good laugh during their conversation, Wilson’s comment stirred up the basketball community. “She’d lose 11-0 w him only playing w his offhand,” one fan said.
