In April, Clark became the first athlete to be outfitted by Prada for a draft.

Fast forward to May, and having recently signed an eight-year deal worth a reported $28 million with Nike, Clark arrived at her league debut wearing a stunning pair of Nike Air Force 1 Low Tiffy & Co. 1937s worth $1,500.

Ahead of the Fever’s third game of the season in New York against the Liberty, Clark was asked about how she felt her style has evolved of late.

“I think it’s been fun,” she told reporters.

“Honestly, I try to switch it up, kind of what I’m wearing and what I’m doing.

“Whether it’s a little more casual or a little more fancy, I think you’ll see it kind of switch up over the course of the season.

“It’s a little different. Usually, I just show up in my sweatpants and my slides.

“But no, it’s been fun, and you know, hopefully, it only keeps getting better.

Life may be fun off the court, but on it, it’s been a rough start for Clark and the Fever.

They lost their season opener 92-71 to the Connecticut Sun, all while Clark set a WNBA record for most turnovers in a debut with 10.

The following game, in Clark’s first home game, they brutally lost 102-66 against the Liberty.

Despite this, Clark insisted that adjusting to the level of the WNBA has “been fun.”

“Honestly, this is what you signed up for,” she said.

“This is the best of the best.

“Obviously, I think we would have loved to have two better performances, but at the same time, I think it’s a great learning opportunity for us.”

Clark noted that the teams they’ve faced have been among the league’s best, adding that they are a young team and that “a little grace” should be given to them as a result.

She also felt they had plenty to learn from how she’s been guarded by opponents so far.

“I’m stepped way away from the play and I’m still getting face guarded,” Clark said.

“So I think understanding that’s still beneficial for my team, that’s gonna open stuff up for my team.

“And you know, once we really start executing and running things correctly, it’s gonna be tough to guard.”

Through her first two games, Clark has totaled 29 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds.
