Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is the focus of an upcoming documentary which is set to air on Investigation Discovery, promising to take viewers on a deep dive inside his rise and fall
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has hit back at claims made in a brand new documentary.
The Fall of Diddy The Making of a Mogul is set to premiere on Investigation Discovery on January 27. The four-part series will focus on Combs’ life and feature interviews from those who know him. A press release claimed these people “saw his alleged violence and temper during his college days at Howard University and the onset of his career with Bad Boy Records, to those who knew him at the height of his influence and power in recent years.”
The docuseries says it will explore the “insidious and terrifying allegations of s3xual assault” against Combs. The 55-year-old rapper has hit out at the series and branded it a “publicity stunt.”
In a statement shared with The Mirror US, his attorneys said, “Rushing to cash in on the media circus surrounding Mr. Combs, the producers did not afford his representatives sufficient time or details to respond to the documentary’s many unsubstantiated and anonymous allegations.”

The statement continued, “Obviously, the goal of this production is to present a one-sided and deeply prejudicial narrative. As we’ve said before, Mr. Combs cannot respond to every new publicity stunt, even in response to claims that are facially ridiculous.”
They concluded, “Mr. Combs has full confidence in the facts and the integrity of the judicial process. In court, the truth will prevail: that the accusations against Mr. Combs are pure fiction.”
A press release from the company behind the new docuseries, Maxine Productions, reads, “Spanning Combs’ decades-long impact on music and popular culture, from his early days as a talented creative to his 2024 arrest, the docuseries uncovers the insidious and terrifying allegations of s3xual assault, abusive behavior, violence, and other disturbing claims that lay beneath his success.”
In a trailer for the show, one unidentified woman said in a voiceover, “I’ve been quiet for 18 years.” She added, “I am absolutely nervous sharing what I’ve seen.”
A man added, “I can no long just remain silent.” Other people who were interviewed for the show include Danity Kane singer D Woods and Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones, none of whom have been implicated in any allegations of wrongdoing.
