Travis Kelce’s love life might be making headlines with Taylor Swift these days, but his ex, Kayla Nicole, has yet to get back into a relationship since they broke up.

In a Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test episode, Kayla opened up about the emotional toll of seeing her name reduced to “Travis Kelce’s ex” in headlines.

“Going through a public breakup, just to be frank, it’s been overwhelming. I’ve never experienced anything like it,” she said.

Nicole was in an on-and-off relationship with Kelce for five years, from 2017 to 2022.

Kelce, who has been dating Taylor Swift since the summer of 2023, seems to be headed toward marriage, while Kayla Nicole is still trying to find herself.

The 32-year-old Youtuber and model made it clear that she is ready to find love again.

“Love is one of the best parts of life,” Nicole told People Magazine. “I would never close myself off to ever experiencing love again.

“I think too, with love comes heartbreak and with heartbreak comes love. It’s one and the same, and I would take the risk of heartbreak over and over if that meant that I get to experience love again.”

Unfortunately for Kayla Nicole, she is not seeing very much, which has piqued her interest in the dating pool.

“Yeah, I mean, dating-wise, out on these streets is rough. Okay? The men these days, I just said the other day, it’s not God’s best work out here…. but I’m dating. I’m dating. Successfully? Ah, the jury’s still out, but I’m dating.”

Kelce and Nicole went through several relationship ups and downs before splitting for good in 2022.

Many thought they would eventually find themselves back in a relationship until he began dating Swift, and things changed drastically.

Kayla Nicole is More Than Just Her Looks

Prior to dating Kelce, Nicole graduated from Pepperdine University with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism.

Nicole originally made a name for herself as a sports broadcaster and has reported from the sidelines of NBA and NFL games.

Nowadays, Nicole utilizes her social media as a fashion model as she has partnered with brands like Revolve, Savage X Fenty, and True Religion.
