Coronation Street is set for a tense and emotional week as Sean Tully bravely stands his ground in the face of growing danger. In upcoming scenes, Sean makes a courageous decision to confront his attacker, Mick Michaelis, despite being warned to stay silent. Concerned not only for his own safety but also for the wellbeing of those around him, Sean becomes increasingly alarmed by Mick’s manipulative behaviour and its chilling effect on his wife, Lou. As fears escalate over the toxic and potentially abusive nature of Mick’s relationship with Lou, Sean realises that remaining quiet could enable further harm. Refusing to be silenced any longer, he prepares to go public with the truth about the terrifying assault he endured — a move that could have serious consequences but may also save lives. With tensions building and Mick’s mask beginning to slip, the street braces for explosive revelations that could shake the community to its core.
The drama unfolds as Kit Green taunts his old friend Mick over his secret past with Lou.
Show bosses have revealed that Kit could be the biological father of Mick and Lou’s teenage son Brody. This twist will play out on screen over the next few days.

In upcoming scenes, Kit’s mum Bernie finds Brody shoplifting following his release from the Secure Training Centre.
Kit pursues Brody to make him pay, sparking fresh tensions between him and Mick. As things turn heated, Kit mocks Mick about Lou not being as loyal as he likes to think.
Later, Lou suddenly goes out of contact with everyone, leaving Sean and Gemma Winter-Brown panicking about what Mick may have done to her.
Sean heads straight to the station, wanting to change his previous statement to clarify that Mick was the one who assaulted him a few weeks ago. Will Sean go through with it – and will Mick finally be brought to justice over the crime?

Meanwhile, Lou dabs at a suspicious head wound, urging Mick to come home and talk. Mick seems to have other ideas as he speeds off in his van, consumed with thoughts of revenge against Kit…
Joe Layton, who plays Mick, recently spoke to us about his character’s nasty incident with Sean.
“Mick has got this moral compass of his own. The reason he went for Sean is because Sean was badmouthing Brody,” Joe explained.

“If that jeopardises his son’s release from the STC, then he’s going to do whatever it takes to get to the bottom of that.
“If Mick could go back in time and change what happened between him and Kit, which we’ll see in the flashback, he would. That could have changed an awful lot for this man’s life. I don’t feel sorry for him because he does really dreadful things, but as we go through the story, there’s more shade to it.”
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday 19 May on ITV1 and ITVX.
