Alan Titchmarsh provided an update on King Charles III following his cancer diagnosis, revealing to Adil Ray and Kate Garraway: “He’s on good form”.
The gardening expert appeared on Good Morning Britain to discuss the new series of Love Your Weekend, but Adil couldn’t help but enquire about King Charles and his well-being.
His Majesty was diagnosed with cancer last February and continues receiving treatment whilst fulfilling his Royal engagements.
Adil began: “Now, I have to ask, I know you talk about the royals a lot, but King Charles, how is he? You’re a pen pal of his, are you still writing?”
“Now and again,” Alan responded before revealing when he last encountered King Charles: “I went up to Balmoral to do a concert in the ballroom there for Classic FM, which went out a couple of weeks ago, which was lovely, called the Honours of Scotland,” reports Gloucestershire Live.

“All the music that was played when the Scottish Crown Jewels were handed over to the new Sovereign back in 2023, and of course, he didn’t really hear it very much.
“So there was a concert with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra in the ballroom of Balmoral, and the King and Queen were there, and the music was played for them. “.
“And he was on good form,” Alan added.

Adil continued: “That’s good because after everything he has been through, his health and everything, it’s good to see.
“We are very lucky, someone who works so hard through all of that as well,” Alan remarked.
Kate interjected: “And loves his nature. So you always have a lot to natter about.”
Alan responded: “Well, I think we are both passionate about the land that surrounds us.”
During another part of the conversation, Alan revealed to the presenters that he and his wife were putting their house on the market and relocating to be nearer to relatives.
