Lorraine Kelly has declared that she found Liz Hurley’s outfit to be ‘too much’ at the NTAs. The model, 60, arrived at the National Television Awards in London last night with new love Billy Ray Cyrus in tow, and later presented award with new co-star Rob Rinder, having wowed in a low-cut dress that left little to the imagination.

But as Lorraine Kelly returned on Thursday to host her eponymous chat show, she discussed the events of the night before with Vogue Williams and Mark Heyes, when she admitted that the eye-popping look was not for her.

The daytime legend, 65, who arrived at the glamorous event wearing a long red dress, appeared to be in shock when a picture of Liz flashed up behind them. She said: “Those bazookas! Good grief! The woman is 60 years old. For me, it was wee bit too much!”

The trio burst into fits of giggles as Vogue suggested: “Lorraine, you’re gonna wear that to the next thing. The BAFTAs, that’s what you’re gonna wear that to!”

Mark noted the outfit was ‘basically a swimsuit’ and Lorraine added: “Do you know what, if you can do it. She did carry it off, but my goodness, extraordinary!”

Just minutes later, Lorraine was joined by 80s pop singer Rick Astley, who joked that even though he is also approaching the milestone age, he ‘doesn’t look like Liz Hurley’. Lorraine replied: “I’m still in shock, frankly!”

Liz headed to the NTAs last night with her beau Billy Ray. According to The Sun, the Bedazzled actress and former Hannah Montana star Billy Ray, 64, were stood outside Liz’s dressing room and she was heard saying: “You’ve made it.” Billy-Ray is said to have replied: “Of course I made it, I wouldn’t miss it.”

Liz took to the stage with Rob Rinder, who she can now be seen with on Channel 4’s The Inheritance to dish out an award at the ceremony, eventually giving out the Reality Competition gong to last year’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! cast. During the speech, Robert cheekily praised her appearance and “defying gravity”. “Rob Rinder having a good luck there #ntas,” one Twitter/X user wrote.

Another joked: “Liz Hurley even had Rob Rinder questioning his own sexuality!! #NTAs”.

Billy Ray and Liz’s duo’s surprise pairing first became public knowledge at the start of the year. Earlier in the year Liz expressed her excitement about her budding relationship with Billy Ray and said she is hoping they’ll have a “great life” together.

She left fans surprised with her revelation earlier this year and despite admitting she found their romance “unexpected”, she revealed she is optimistic about what lies ahead as they go from strength-to-strength.
