The Repair Shop’s guitar expert, Julyan Wallis, has confirmed he is taking a break for Christmas and the New Year. The BBC star took to his social media accounts to share the news with his followers.

He wrote, “I will be closed over the festive season from December 13th and back on January 2nd/5th onwards. Contact for that last-minute setup, mod, fret job, structural stuff asap!”

The expert also shared a picture along with the caption, “Alert! Cornwall guitar repairs at The Guitar Doctor! Closed from December 13th over Christmas.”

Julyan’s co-star Sonnaz Nooranvary was quick to respond, “That’s my kind of break, Jules. Have a great Christmas and new year!!”

One of his followers added, “You definitely deserve a holiday, Jules.”

Someone else added, “Have a great Christmas and New Year, Julyan. All the best wishes.”

“Have a nice Christmas and New Year, mate,” another went on.

Julyan isn’t the only expert to be taking some much-deserved time off for Christmas. Both Richard Talman and Brenton West have recently confirmed that they have wrapped up filming for the year.

Last month, jewellery expert Richard shared a heartfelt video of his co-stars, he penned, “Today marks the end of my filming for 2025! And as I pack my barn bench up for the winter, I’d like to thank the wonderful crew and producers of Ricochet Productions who make the show possible.”

He continued, “Here are a few pictures of just some of them.”

Brenton also confirmed his departure from the BBC series, by writing “My time filming at The Repair Shop barn has come to an end for 2025, just as the mud and cold weather arrives.

“I’m looking forward to a winter break. I would like to thank some of the very hard-working people behind the scenes who make us look amazing when you see the show on the telly.”

He went on to say, “There are many others, I just haven’t got pictures of them, but they know who they are. Thanks all, hope to see you all soon.”

The Repair Shop is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
