Pollard’s 80th Birthday Has Emmerdale Viewers TERRIFIED A DEVASTATING Exit Could Be Coming And The VILLAGE Might Never Be The Same Again
With Eric Pollard turning 80 next week, a new Emmerdale fan theory predicts that he might soon die as his condition worsens.
Last night in the Dales (Monday, June 2), Pollard refused Tracy and Kerry’s offer of help before suffering a fall later on.
And now fans are fearing the worst as Pollard’s Parkinson’s symptoms start to become more noticeable.

Eric Pollard’s fall in Emmerdale
Yesterday, Pollard was organising a delivery of some heavy boxes in the shop when Tracy offered to help him.
He declined and told her he was perfectly capable of doing it himself, even though Tracy reminded him that he was turning 80 next week and should be celebrating with a blue rinse. We’d love to see whether Pollard could pull that style off!
Later on though, with Pollard injuring himself lifting the boxes, Kerry Wyatt walked in and offered to help him. She even offered to give him a lift back home after work too.
But, Pollard’s ego was too big, adamant that he could continue just fine by himself. Any more nonsense and Kerry would have to find another place to stay.
Perhaps Tracy and Kerry were onto something though as later Pollard suffered a fall while home alone and struggled in pain on the floor…

Fan theory predicts Eric Pollard will die soon
With Pollard’s condition worsening, and with him starting to accept that he needs some extra help in upcoming scenes after a hospital dash, a new fan theory fears that he will soon be killed off from the soap.
Tracy did make a big deal about Pollard almost turning 80… So, perhaps we should be a little bit worried.
One fan on X commented: “I feel like Pollard will die in Emmerdale either end of this year or next year sometime and we’ll get one final ghost Val appearance.”
Another said: “It definitely feels like we’re building to another ghost Val appearance, whether Eric dies or not. She’ll be the one to tell him to accept help.”
A third person exclaimed: “Could be next year as it’s his 40th year in the show!”
And a final Emmerdale viewer added: “I agree but think it will be much sooner than Emmerdale fans expect.”
We don’t think we could cope with the legend that is Eric Pollard dying anytime soon!
