Social media messages from the man arrested for stalking Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark have been highlighted following the disturbing sequence of events.
A 55-year-old Texas native named Michael Lewis stands accused of contacting Clark via social media, where he made threats and sent s3xually explicit messages, before driving to Indianapolis.
Lewis has been charged with stalking, which is a Level 5 felony in Indianapolis.
Per TMZ, the Metropolitan Police Department noted having contacted Lewis last week, but he claimed he was in the area on vacation and that his messages were simply fantasy. He kept sending messages after the police asked him to stop, which eventually led to his arrest.
Caitlin Clark Stalker’s Social Media Posts Were Extremely Disturbing
Michael Lewis’ X account suggests he began messaging Caitlin Clark on December 16.
“this fantasy caitlin relationship is changing me for the better. . And about an hour ago i felt strong caitlin feelings. .like sensual. .wow,” one of them read.
“i already have one foot on a banana peel and the other on a stalking charge. . So i wont be able to wear ur hoodie. .wont look good in court,” he wrote the following day.
“@CaitlinClark22 im gonna touch myself,” another post read. “Not if but just when baby.”
“u think I could get your wifi password? Its got me locked out,” he posted on January 3, implying he was close to Clark’s residence.
“may i come up and get some sugar? . . . . Sugar,” he added.
Police were informed of his behavior five days later.
“i had absolutely no plans of ever coming back here. . But i sent u a post saying i want to be with you everywhere. .and then my Father says what are you doing here then?” another message read.
“[T]hen came the decision of all decisions. .i finally had to choose 1. . . Fla or indy. . omg not easy. .at all. . I had a ton invested. as i surveyed the landscape, my mind kept coming back to you. . There simply is nobody better for me. .its not even close,” Lewis also wrote.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Caitlin Clark told police she was fearful for her safety and adjusted her public appearances as a result.
Marion County prosecutor Ryan Mears addressed the arrest in a statement on Monday.
“It takes a lot of courage for women to come forward in these cases, which is why many don’t,” he said. “In doing so, the victim is setting an example for all women who deserve to live and work in Indy without the threat of s3xual violence.”
New Orleans Pelicans Stun The NBA By Trading Superstar Brandon Ingram To NBA Heavyweight In Blockbuster Trade Proposal

With the New Orleans Pelicans enduring another tremendously disappointing season, star big man Brandon Ingram is another name to follow in the trade rumor mill.
The Pelicans enter Thursday as the worst team in the Western Conference (5-22), with only the Washington Wizards (3-21) displaying an inferior record. It’s clear that a rebuild is necessary in NOLA, and that would start with trading core players like Brandon Ingram and/or Zion Williamson.
Svyatoslav Rovenchuk of Athlon Sports recently proposed a blockbuster trade idea that has New Orleans trading Ingram and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl to the powerhouse Golden State Warriors in exchange for Jonathan Kuminga, Gary Payton II, Kevon Looney and De’Anthony Melton:
“The swap allows the Warriors to add another All-Star caliber player around Curry. Meanwhile, the Pelicans land a worthwhile young prospect and a handful of expiring contracts. One could argue that Golden State would need to add some sort of draft pick compensation too, but given Ingram’s modest value, Kuminga may offer more than enough appeal to not have to do so.”
