“Katie Price Fears Son Harvey Will ‘Die of a Heart Attack’ Unless He Loses Weight — Her Desperate Plea for Help”
Katie Price fears her son Harvey will ‘end up dying of a heart attack’ if he doesn’t lose weight soon. The star’s eldest son, 23, has Prader-Willi syndrome, which sparks a constant desire to eat food and a permanent feeling of hunger
‘I’ve been on the case to doctors about putting him on the Mounjaro,’ she explained to her sister Sophie on the latest episode of their podcast The Katie Price Show
Katie Price is sounding the alarm over her son Harvey’s health, fearing he could “end up dying of a heart attack” if drastic action isn’t taken soon to help him lose weight. The 23-year-old, who has Prader-Willi syndrome, faces an insatiable hunger due to his condition, along with a series of other challenges including autism, ADHD, and septo-optic dysplasia.
Katie said she was going to resort to asking any doctors among her Instagram followers for help. ‘I’m going to put something up to say, is there any private doctors out there?’ (pictured in 2022)
In 2025, Harvey’s weight reached nearly 30 stone, and while some progress was made with a healthier diet, he’s still at risk. Katie, who has been vocal about her concerns, recently spoke on her podcast The Katie Price Show about her frustration with doctors, who have yet to prescribe Harvey the weight-loss jab, Mounjaro, despite her urging.
“I’ve been on the case with doctors about putting him on the Mounjaro,” Katie told her sister Sophie. “I’m actually going to put something up on Instagram to say, is there any private doctors out there? Because the NHS… they know he’s in the obese category, but they haven’t taken the steps to help him yet.”
Katie continued, revealing her anxieties, saying, “When he sleeps, I worry because he’s snoring, wheezing, and sometimes even holding his breath. He’s just getting bigger, and I fear it could lead to a heart attack.”
Harvey’s health is a ticking time bomb, as Katie added that medical professionals warned her years ago that without weight loss, he could be at serious risk of a heart attack. Yet, despite her constant pleas, the prescribed treatment has been delayed.
“I’m not going to inject him myself because that’s not medically right,” she clarified, showing her desperation to find a solution. “But something needs to be done. He’s just huge.”
Katie also provided an update on Harvey’s living situation, revealing the ongoing delays in moving him into his new independent living space. She expressed frustration over the prolonged wait, as Harvey, who just graduated from a specialist college, currently resides in temporary accommodation, waiting for the new home to be ready.
“He just hates it where he is. The guy’s on holiday. When he gets back, he’s promised me an update,” she said. “Harvey is so frustrated. He just wants to be here. I want him to feel at home.”
