Emmerdale fans have ‘worked out’ who will take revenge on Joe Tate, and it’s not someone on the suspect list.

It has been confirmed that a whodunnit storyline revolving around Joe will take place. And while spoilers have teased the suspect list, fans are convinced it’s going to be someone not on it.

Over the last few months Joe has made quite a lot of enemies. From stealing Caleb’s kidney, drugging Noah and having an affair with Dawn, there are quite a lot of people who would want revenge on him. But there’s one other person who could want vengeance – Dr Crowley.

Emmerdale Joe Tate whodunnit confirmed

Spoilers confirm that someone will take revenge on Joe during a party at Home Farm.

He spends the week gathering even more enemies (how is that was possible?) but when Kim decides to throw a huge party for Lydia, things take a dark turn.

Emmerdale previously promised that Joe would get comeuppance for the things he has done, and it appears this is what they were talking about.

At this moment, they haven’t confirmed if Joe will die or be injured (We hope he doesn’t die). But things definitely aren’t looking good for him.

While the suspects are: Billy, Kerry, Caleb, Noah, Charity, Cain, Dawn, Ruby and Clemmie, fans think the real attacker could be someone entirely different.

Is Dr Crowley out for revenge?

Joe couldn’t have done any of his kidney stealing without Dr Crowley, who was being paid a huge sum to help him.

But Crowley didn’t really know the full extent of Joe’s plans until it was too late. And when he worked out what was happening, he tried to get Joe to find an alternative way.

Taking to X, one fan theorised: “Calling it now. It will be none of these characters. Yes, Joe has ruffled feathers with all of them at some point or another. But I think it will be Dr Crowley who comes back with vengeance.”

Another fan commented: “Oh that would be a great twist! There is so much unfinished business there. And he always seemed like a darker character..”

Then, when Caleb found out about the kidney theft he went looking for Crowley, only to find he never worked at the private clinic at all.

So, if word gets around that Crowley was paid to perform non-permitted surgery, could his professional career be on the line? And perhaps he blames Joe for his downfall?

Or is he struggling to live with what he did and feels that Joe should not get away with it – perhaps he wants more money and Joe refuses.
