Emmerdale’s resident doctor, Liam Cavanagh (played by Jonny McPherson), is encouraged to get himself checked by a GP in upcoming scenes of the ITV soap. Spoilers for the long-running drama have revealed Liam is left embarrassed when Claudette Anderson (Flo Wilson) finds him urinating at the allotment.
Later, an awkward Liam calls Claudette to the Woolpack’s back room and explains he’s been having trouble holding his bladder for long amounts of time. When she’s told this, she’s convinced Liam has a health issue which needs to be looked into immediately. When Liam tries to shrug off his issues, Claudette forcibly encourages him to book an appointment to get checked. But is he going to listen to Claudette – or will he ignore the problem?

If he is showing signs of an illness such as prostate cancer, will the character end up leaving the village to recover away from all the drama surrounding the area?
It’s been an explosive few weeks on the soap after John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) shot Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) with an arrow during a chase out in the woods.
The evil killer also flung himself and his husband, Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller), off a cliff to cover his tracks, and the pair have been in hospital since being rescued by emergency services. John admitted to Aaron he had murdered before, but will he remember if he comes round from his coma?
As it stands, John’s brother Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) has been arrested on charges of attempted murder and has been proclaiming his innocence to police officers who have been interrogating him.
Will John get away with all of his heinous crimes – or is his downfall sealed?
