Coronation Street‘s Sarah Barlow has issued a final warning to Todd Grimshaw, saying she won’t cover for his affair any more.
In recent weeks, Sarah has been pretending to be in a relationship with Todd to cover up for his affair with Theo Silverton, who is married to Danielle.
In today’s episode, a despondent Todd confided in Sarah, saying he suspects that Theo will never have the guts to tell his family the truth about his sexuality.
Meanwhile, Danielle told George about Sarah flirting with Kit while being in a relationship with Todd, saying: “I think she must be cheating on Todd, you know, having an affair. Todd’s been so lovely to me, I couldn’t just stay quiet about it.”

An amused George put Danielle straight about Todd’s sexuality, telling her: “I think you might have a couple of crossed wires. Sarah’s not going out with Todd, Todd’s Gay.”
Following this, a furious and upset Danielle spotted Sarah putting a comforting arm around Theo and jumped to conclusions about the two.
After finding Sarah and Todd at the Rovers, Danielle accused Sarah of having an affair with Theo. “This little homewrecker is sleeping with my husband,” she said in front of everyone.
“I promise you that me and your husband is not a thing. It never has been, it never will be. I can swear on my kids’ lives about that,” Sarah told Danielle, urging her to speak to Theo.

Todd told Theo about Danielle’s accusation, agreeing to keep their relationship a secret until Theo felt ready to come out to his wife.
When Danielle drove past Sarah and Harry outside the Kabin, she shouted out the window, calling her a slag, leaving Sarah mortified.
Sarah laid down the law to Todd and told him that if Danielle comes near her again, she won’t hesitate in telling her the truth.
“If she comes anywhere near me, flinging accusations, I won’t think twice about putting her straight,” Sarah told Todd.
