Coronation Street’s Vicky Myers was among a glittering lineup of soap stars who came together to help Sally Carman-Duttine ring in her milestone 50th birthday in spectacular style over the weekend. The celebrations were nothing short of star-studded, with familiar faces from the cobbles turning out in full force to mark the special occasion.

Coronation Street’s Vicky Myers recently wished a fellow cast member a happy birthday with a heartfelt comment as they celebrated the milestone. Vicky had her own cause for celebration, marking four years in the role of DS Lisa Swain, having joined the ITV soap back in 2021.
However, it was only recently that Vicky commemorated a year of portraying the character on a regular basis. Despite making occasional appearances as the detective sergeant, it wasn’t until last year that Vicky was given the regular role of Lisa on the cobbles and has since been integral to numerous storylines.

Now, Vicky has officially celebrated four years since her Corrie debut. Sharing a series of previously unseen photos from her initial stint on the Cobbles on social media, including DS Swain’s police lanyard and her name on a dressing room door.
Accompanying the post on Instagram and X, formerly known as Twitter, the soap star wrote: “Four years of DS Lisa Swain. I can’t quite believe it’s been four years. What a journey, what a story, what a woman, and there’s plenty more to come!” reports the Manchester Evening News.
“Whether you love her or hate her, thank you. Forever grateful. Thank you @itvcorrie And thank YOU #LisaSwain #Corrie.” Explaining the pictures, she added: “After wrap on the first 4 eps in ’21. “”.
Following her Corrie anniversary celebrations, Vicky was spotted celebrating another significant event, this time with her friend and co-star Sally Carman-Duttine.
Coronation Street’s Sally Carman, famed for her role as Abi Webster, celebrated a milestone 50th birthday this past weekend, having shared the big 5-0 news on Friday (May 9).
Taking to Instagram, she dazzled fans with some new photos, where she looked stunning while rocking a faux fur coat over a red mini dress. She struck a playful pose in front of the mirror and then took to the sofa, cheekily kicking up her leg for another photo.
She captioned the Instagram post: “Happy 50th birthday to me #birthday #love #friends #fakefurcoats.”
Sally later returned to Instagram, providing a peek into her birthday celebrations.
One snapshot showed her enjoying a fancy drink, followed by a picture of her ready to blow out a candle on a birthday dessert after enjoying a posh meal with her husband, Joe Duttine, who is also her part on Coronation Street.
Sally also spent quality time with her parents and marked her half-century birthday in the company of friends, including Corrie co-star Vicky and actress Erin Shanagher, who are all known to mingle together away from the small screen.
She gratefully shared with her 158,000 followers: “Birthday bitsie bobsies #spoiltrotten #bestfriends #bestfamily #50rocks.”
Vicky couldn’t hold back her excitement, replying: “You deserve the world! Happy Birthday. Love you,” while Erin added her heartfelt sentiment: “I adore you.”
