Emmerdale aired some more dramatic scenes tonight as Anthony was seemingly ‘k!lled’ by Danny Miller’s character Aaron Dingle – but all wasn’t as it seems – and fans now know who they think is responsible
Emmerdale aired a surprise twist tonight – as Aaron Dingle was convinced he’d k!lled Anthony.
Anthony Fox will be mu4dered in big scenes, with that fact being confirmed in a flashforward. However, Emmerdale bosses have been keeping quiet about who k!lled Anthony – and why they decided to end his life.
Many of the characters had a motive and most recently, Aaron Dingle was seen punching Anthony as he fumed at him over what he did to his own daughter Ruby. Viewers were horrified to find out Anthony had abused Ruby, leading to Steph’s arrival.
In big scenes tonight, John Sugden was seen cleaning up Aaron Dingle’s mess after he k!lled Anthony – but was it all as it seemed?
One wrote: “Aaron definitely didn’t k!ll him, reckon someone else finished Anthony off. whilst a second added: “Oh come on will they just reveal who did the k!lling it can’t be that predictable as Aaron

However, fans are convinced they know who really k!lled Anthony – and are expecting a shock twist.
One shared: “So Ruby actually k!lled him but Aaron/John covered it up and got rid of the body? ,” as another added: “PLEASE let Ruby be the one to have finished him off..” A third penned: “I don’t think Aaron did k!ll creepy grandad, I think someone was listening and finished him off when he left.”
Emmerdale star Georgia Jay – who plays Steph on the ITV soap – previously admitted it would be a “big year” for her character.
“It’s heartbreaking, but such an important storyline to tell. I’m proud to be part of a show that’s willing to explore these topics and bring them to the forefront. It’s going to be a big year for her. As the fallout continues, it will throw her into a bit of a crisis and a breakdown. It’ll be a challenging time for Steph – we’ll see a vulnerable side to her. There’s more twists and turns to come,” she said.
“There’s always going to be a bit of apprehension because you want to get it right. There’s a real sense of responsibility. But there’s another side of me as an actor, that these big moments are what push me – they’re rewarding to be part of.”
