Coronation Street‘s Gemma Winter-Brown will fear for husband Chesney as violent neighbour Mick Michaelis’s wrath escalates in new scenes.
Mick and wife Lou moved to Weatherfield earlier this year, though he has been causing trouble since arriving, making enemies all around.
Things are set to go up a notch further in scenes next Wednesday (23 April), with Mick now threatening Sean Tully for yet-to-be-disclosed reasons.
The storyline comes as Chesney comes home from London, having worked with Dev at a festival, and a stressed Gemma reveals that Mick has been bullying towards Sean.
Angered, Chesney decides to have it out with Mick, though Gemma expresses concern and worries that he will get hurt.

“So far Chesney and Gemma have tried their best to ignore their neighbours’ complaints over Mick and Lou,” Digital Spy‘s Corrie source explained.
“While everyone else seems to have a problem with them, the chaotic pair have been nothing but friendly and supportive towards Chesney and Gemma.
“But with innocent Sean now in the firing line, the problems are getting much too close to home. It could be time for Chesney to decide where his loyalties lie – if he’s brave enough….”

Later on, Mick and Lou arrive and bring some cans of beer – but will Chesney stand up and say anything to Mick?
Last month, it was confirmed that Mick is set to exit the soap this summer, with actor Joe Layton signing up for the soap on a fixed-term contract last year.
