Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs’ attorneys have lashed out after the trailer for an upcoming documentary about the music mogul was released.
The rapper, 55, who is being held in New York City on multiple charges of s3x trafficking and assault, is the topic of the forthcoming film, Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy, which will be released on Peacock January 14.
The 90-second preview included people claiming to be insiders who were interviewed for the tell-all documentary, giving their version of events.
The movie is one of several to be released after his arrest in September 2024.
Combs’ lawyers released a lengthy statement on Friday stating, ‘These documentaries include unchecked claims and provide platforms for baseless conspiracy theories without accountability or evidence.’
‘In the case of the Peacock documentary in particular, the motivations and credibility of those being interviewed must be questioned. Many claim to have knowledge but lack any connection to the truth, while their wild, unfounded theories are cut and sensationalized to appear factual.’
Diddy insiders , such as a childhood friend, a former bodyguard and a Making the Band winner give interviews in the Peacock special.

His former Uptown Records label mate Al B. Sure!, who was married to the late model Kim Porter before she began her relationship with Combs, breaks his silence in the documentary.
Porter is the mother of three of Combs’ children, Christian, 26, and twins Jessie and D’lila, 18.
The trailer for the special released on Thursday includes footage of the rapper partying at home and in the studio.
‘I’ve been with Sean for quite a while and I’ve captured a lot of moments,’ one unidentified source claimed.
‘Anytime a studio or any rooms is [lit with red lighting], he’s making love, s3x. Some of the girls who were in the room, for sure, they were underage.’
‘They said they could ship me off and sell me to anyone,’ added an unidentified woman.
Comb’s legal team declared ‘Sean Combs unequivocally denies these false allegations, which are harmful, defamatory, and unsupported by credible evidence.’
‘It is deeply concerning how such narratives can influence public perception and prejudice the legal process. Mr. Combs deserves his day in court with an impartial jury, free from the taint of these baseless claims. The facts will be addressed in court, where truth—not fiction—will prevail.’

The 90-minute documentary will spill on Combs’ early years, ‘his decades-long transformation to Puffy and then to Diddy, with crucial insight into the forces that shaped the man and may have made him a monster,’ according to Peacock.
‘Sean Combs is a monster,’ declares attorney Lisa Bloom in the trailer. Bloom is representing Dawn Richards, who sued the rapper for ‘terrorizing and s3xually abusing’ her in a civil case against the rapper.
The music mogul remains in federal custody at the notoriously tough Metropolitan Detention Center in New York City awaiting trial.
Combs has pleaded not guilty, and in a recent report from Page Six he was said to have appeared in court ‘astonishingly thinner’ and ‘greyer,’ after months away from the lavish lifestyle he and his family were accustomed to.
Following a months-long investigation by authorities, he was charged with S3x trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution – all of which he denies – and a trial date has been set for May 5.
Combs was placed on suicide watch during his first week in custody, but was taken off of it shortly after, with his lawyer claiming his client was ‘focused and very strong.’

He faces a string of s3x charges alongside renewed allegations, including a new lawsuit alleging s3xual assault against a 13-year-old girl.
That legal filing, seen by DailyMail.com, claims Diddy had allegedly ‘aggressively approached’ the young girl with a ‘crazed look in his eyes’ before s3xually assaulting her.
She claims an unidentified male celebrity also raped her while Diddy and an unnamed female celebrity watched.
