They take on their NFL rivals in the Divisional Round at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday at 4.30pm ET.
Andy Reid’s team have had an extra week to relax after getting a bye from the Wild Card Round.
He had also rested his starters for the final game of the regular season, including Patrick Mahomes.
That ended in a 38-0 loss at the Denver Broncos, but they had already reached the playoffs, with a 15-2 record.
But the Chiefs have concerns with two of their top stars ahead of the Texans showdown.
It has been announced that Jaylen Watson and Mecole Hardman are both on the injury report.
Starting cornerback Watson was listed as questionable on Thursday.
The 26-year-old has been fighting back from a broken fibular.
He suffered the break during a Week 7 game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Meanwhile, Hardman was listed as doubtful for the Texans tie.
The wide receiver was the hero of the 2024 Super Bowl.
He scored the winning touchdown in last season’s showpiece.
Watson has been out since October, but returned to practice at the start of January.
The corner has been fighting to be fit since.

He was spotted training with the rest of the roster earlier this week.
It is understood the Chiefs are hopeful he can face the Texans.
