After years of ruling Britain’s festive charts, LadBaby Mum (Roxanne Hoyle) and her husband Mark Hoyle have left millions of fans stunned by their sudden decision to cancel plans for their 2025 Christmas single. 
According to close insiders, the couple made the call amid mounting marital strain and online controversy, following the circulation of a viral clip that appeared to show Mark “groping” another woman on a night out — sparking one of the biggest scandals of their career.
In their new book Our LadBaby Journey: Success, Sacrifice and Sausage Rolls, the pair reveal how the nightmare began with anonymous blackmail messages demanding £10,000 in exchange for not releasing the video. Despite reporting it to the police, the footage eventually hit TikTok, where it spread like wildfire.

Mark said the ordeal triggered panic attacks and police involvement, with anti-terror officers even visiting their home to ensure their safety. Roxanne, meanwhile, faced a different kind of pain — a wave of vicious trolling and body-shaming that cut deeply.
“People said, ‘No wonder he’s doing that — you’re too fat,’” Roxanne admitted. “It made us question everything we were doing.”

The couple insist the man in the clip is not Mark, calling the video “fake” and “possibly made with AI.” Rox explained:
“At no point could Mark have been in that situation. We don’t go out without each other anymore — it just didn’t make sense. I knew it wasn’t real.”
Despite the ordeal, Roxanne says they have stayed united:
“We’re solid in our marriage. Trust is something we pride ourselves on, and Mark doesn’t lie.”
