Three NFL refs have been fired and sent to the college rankings.

According to a report from Ben Austro of Football Zebras, three NFL refs have been removed from their positions and reassigned to NCAA power conferences. Those officials are umpire James Carter, down judge Robert Richeson and line judge Robin DeLorenzo.

Austro noted that the three referees could go through a developmental program and potentially regain their NFL gigs. NFL Referees Association executive director Scott Green declined further comment when asked by Austro.

One referee, who wanted to stay anonymous, told Austro the following:

“The culture is changing, it’s changing rapidly. It’s changing into a competitive environment where everybody’s equal. There are no favorites. There’s no favoritism. There’s none of that; it’s all about performance.”

The news from Austro comes days after another stunning development involving changes with the NFL refs. Tra Blake, a league official since 2020, was reassigned to the umpire position with Alex Moore taking the head referee position.

Like every season, NFL officials were under fire over numerous controversial calls during the 2024 season. These many questionable calls (or non-calls) largely benefited the Kansas City Chiefs, leading to a rapidly growing conspiracy theory that the league rigs games for Patrick Mahomes and company.

Commissioner Roger Goodell poured cold water over the conspiracy theory during Super Bowl 59 week, with the aforementioned Scott Green calling the accusations against the NFL refs” insulting.”

NFL Refs Will Get More Through Replay Assistance In 2025

Fortunately for NFL officials, they’re about to get a lending helping hand that should have been implemented years earlier.

Last week, the competition committee passed rule changes to expand replay assist. The referees will now get extra assistance to overturn questionable penalty calls such as face masks, horse-collar tackles, hitting defenseless players, tripping and roughing/running into the kicker.

It should be noted that replay assistance cannot be used for officials to throw a flag if they missed any of those potential infractions. Still, every little possible bit of replay assistance will help the officials in this day and age.

Rockstar has built a rich world of criminals, lunatics, and thieves spanning from Liberty City to San Andreas and beyond. With GTA 6 on the horizon, fans have become ecstatic after seeing a picture of Lucia.

For those unaware, she is a female criminal in the game. Grand Theft Auto states that she did her time at a prison complex in the State of Leonida in the mid-2020s for an unknown crime.

As anticipation builds for the release of Grand Theft Auto 6, a picture shows Lucia stripped down to a two-piece bikini.

Fans Have Waited A Long Time For Grand Theft Auto To Release New Game

After more than a decade of waiting, Grand Theft Auto VI is supposedly finally set to come out in 2025.

Despite their hopes for a release this year fading, the community remains engaged in hopes that a second trailer will be released in early 2025 and a release date of the actual game will come out.

With each passing day, the desire for more news grows stronger.

Hopefully, 2025 will give the fans what they so desperately want.
