The conversation started when EastEnders icon Patsy Palmer remembered legendary actress June Brown, who played Dot Cotton on the BBC soap.
Patsy said: “She worked at EastEnders until she was in her 90s.”
Jack shared: “Bill Roach is 93,” as Donna Preston asked: “Who’s that?”
Soap star Jack replied: “Ken. He’s been in it for 65 years.”
Jack went on to say: “I’ve known him for 25 years, he still calls me f****** David.
“He calls me David, he seems me in the corridor and he goes ‘morning David’.”
Chesney Hawkes said: “He is 93,” as Donna added: “That’s genius.”
CBB fans were left in hysterics at the story.
One wrote: “I think there’s a bit of Bill Roach in all of us, I’ve seen more tweets calling him David Platt than I have Jack.”
