BILL Belichick said goodbye during his final live television appearance on Inside the NFL.

The New England Patriots icon, 72, will now be tasked with being the head coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels college football program.

Belichick stunningly took the UNC job in December after taking a year off from being an NFL head coach for 24 seasons.

During his year of being away from coaching, Belichick was an analyst on Inside the NFL on the CW Network.

It was Inside the NFL’s final show after the Super Bowl on Wednesday night, and Belichick shared a farewell message to his Inside the NFL colleagues which include hosts Ryan Clark, Chris Long, and Chad Johnson.

While walking over to the desk at the end of the program, Belichick said, “Fellas, I can’t tell you how much I’ve enjoyed being with you this year on Inside the NFL.

“This was a great year for me, and I appreciate you welcoming me.”

Clark, Long, and Johnson then handed praise to Belichick, who then added, “Chad, you and Ryan are both welcome down there [at North Carolina]. Chris, we’ll see you at Virginia.”

Belichick referenced Long’s history as a college football player for UNC’s rival Virginia Cavaliers.

Belichick’s appearance on the hit NFL show comes after he attended the 2024 NFL Honors in New Orleans ahead of Super Bowl 59.

He was alongside 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson.

During the end-of-season awards ceremony, Hudson appeared to rock one of Belichick’s Super Bowl rings on her left hand.

Hudson revealed that the ring that resembled a Super Bowl ring was her BYU cheerleading national championship ring.

Belichick and Hudson were the recipients of a brutal joke from Snoop Dogg.

During the iconic rapper’s monologue in the Saenger Theatre, he took a swipe at Belichick and Hudson’s 48-year age difference.

Snoop said, ” I’ve been a football fan for a long, long time.

“I remember back when the Cowboys was good, I remember back when the Chiefs was bad.

“And I remember [when] Bill Belichick’s girlfriend wasn’t even born yet.”

The crowd burst into laughter, while Belichick and Hudson seemed shocked.

Then, Belichick and Hudson smiled as they seemed to take the joke well in the end.

The day before, during a charity event at the Super Bowl, Hudson sparked engagement rumors with Belichick by wearing a ring on her left ring finger.

She didn’t address what was behind wearing the pink diamond ring on her left ring finger.

Belichick and Hudson first met four years ago on a flight, and they’ve been going steady for three years.
