EXCLUSIVE: MAFS UK’s Leigh Speaks Out As ‘Hard To Watch’ Final Vows With Leah Finally Airs—Her Emotional Message Leaves Fans Reflecting

Married at First Sight UK star Leigh Harris has spoken out after her final vows with Leah Marie Tyrer aired, with fans admitting they were “hard to watch”. The scenes aired in last night’s episode, which came after a heated argument earlier in the week. Leah confronted Leigh about kissing fellow show star Leisha Lightbody, and during their final vows, the couple decided to part ways in emotional scenes.
Taking to Instagram after the episode aired, Leigh shared screenshots from the moment and wrote in the caption: “I didn’t lose a marriage. I found myself. A lot was missing but my self worth was not.
“And I’d like to thank the version of me that stood her ground and never allowed herself to be persuaded her feelings didn’t matter.”
Fans shared their support for the two stars in the comments, with one writing: “That was hard to watch but I’m so glad you guys held your own as individuals. You really seem to have grown so much through this experiment and that’s priceless. Super blessed to have seen some of your journey and I’m excited to be here for the rest.”

Another called them “both incredible women”, adding: “Though it’s a shame things didn’t work out, you both stayed true to yourselves.”
“It’s a shame but your final vows both showed it wasn’t right in the end,” a third added. “I hope you’ve both been able to reconcile now the heat is out of the moment. You’re both gooduns.”
Leah also shared a number of supportive comments in her own Instagram Stories, including one from a fan who stated they “could not be prouder” of her.
“Loved watching you be exactly who you are, the kind and thoughtful soul we all know you are,” another viewer told her.
Meanwhile, this season’s final main episode will air this evening and will reveal the outcome of Leisha and Reiss Boyce’s vow cliffhanger, and two reunion episodes will be broadcast later in the week.
