UNACCEPTABLE: Prince William ‘wants nothing to do with’ Harry – ‘cynical ploy to save his own skin’
A royal commentator has discussed tensions between the brothers following Harry’s recent visit to the UK.

Prince William reportedly “wants nothing to do” with his brother Prince Harry, a royal expert has claimed. It comes following the Duke of Sussex’s recent trip to the UK where he spent some brief time with King Charles and Queen Camilla.
Maureen Callahan, a journalist and royal commentator, discussed the escalating tensions between the brothers and claimed William now wants nothing to do with Harry. She suggested a path back to the Royal Family could exist for Harry, but it would have to be without Meghan Markle. Ms Callahan accused the Duchess of Sussex of “fakeness and inauthenticity” in a recent interview on Sky News.
As reported by Sky News, Ms Callahan told host Danica De Giorgio: “William wants nothing to do with Harry.” She added that his attempts at reconcilliation with the Royal Family are a “selfish, cynical ploy to save his own skin”.
The host also asked: “Does Harry really have a way back in?” Ms Callahan, the host of The Nerve with Maureen Callahan podcast, replied: “It was briefed that Meghan would be joining Harry last week in the UK for the entire week with the children.
“In fact, she only showed up at the very end of the week. No photos taken of Meghan, which nullifies her claims, Harry’s claims that they can’t possibly return to the United Kingdom without royal security because the press won’t leave them alone.”
Despite Meghan insisting that she has always let Harry take the lead on family matters, Ms Callahan added: “Harry’s camp, meanwhile, my colleage at the Daily Mail Alison Boshoff is reporting that a source not quite sympathetic to the Sussexes – listen to this phrasing, it’s fascinating.

“I quote, ‘when Harry was madly in love with Meghan, he was happy to let her take the lead’. Was. Now that same source said, ‘the veil has been lifted’.”
She also said that the Sussexes cannot plead for privacy when you “publish a best-selling memoir in which you divulge all manner of your family’s intimate secrets” and when you “sit for a Netflix documentary in which you depict yourself as the most hounded couple of the modern age.”
During his recent visit to the UK, in which he marked the one year countdown to the Invictus Games 2026, Harry spent roughly an hour with Charles and Camilla. However, there no was reunion with Prince William and Princess Kate, with reports suggesting they intentionally remained at engagements in Scotland during Harry’s time in London.
